I can’t stop staring at my best friend’s barely-legal daughter.
I know, I’m a perv. She’s just eighteen and I’m pushing forty. I look like I’m thirty but I’m nearly forty. Retirement age for the NHL.
I take pictures in the off-season. It focuses me, reminds me that there’s more to life than hockey.
Sometimes, I get women who want me to take sexy pictures of them for their husband’s or boyfriends.
When she walks in, asking for those dirty pictures and begging me to secrecy, three things happen:
1. I want to beat the shit out of her boyfriend.
2. I feel guilty for even thinking of saying yes
3. I fucking say yes.
Things get heated, even with her boyfriend, even with her age, even with the threat of her father finding out.
One thing’s certain: it was worth it.
I just want more.

THE ENFORCER by Heather C. Myers is bold and edgy. Kenna Canteberry asks her dad’s best friend and teammate, Joaquin, to take some boudoir photos of her, pretending they are for her boyfriend. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers. The story takes place in Houston.

Heather C. Myers did a nice job developing her characters. I liked Joaquin. In addition to a professional hockey player, he has a photo studio. Having done freelance photography, I felt that I could relate to him. Kenna is a daring heroine. She wants Joaquin to notice her, and she sets out to do it. Both struggle with their attraction to the other, and the fact that Joaquin and Kenna’s dad are best friends and teammates. There are some thought-provoking issues that take place through the story.

The plot was shrewd a skillfully executed. I appreciated the characters like each other for the person they are and not just their looks. At eighty-one pages, the story is a fast read. I would recommend this story to people who enjoy erotic sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

An older man younger woman romance.
An older man younger woman romance has Joaquin and Kenna set up to light the flame! Joaquin is a hockey player and photographer who take pictures of nature and animals that sort of thing and he has the hot for Kenna his friend daughter. Now, what does Kenna want Joaquin to do but take pictures of her in lingerie for a scrapbook for her boyfriend? Can you see the problems that are coming? It was a pretty good story lot of steam. I liked this one better than The Captain I just finished and I enjoyed it too. Not too bad a book to pick up if this is the type you like. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

No surprises in this older man/younger woman romance.

Joaquin and Kenna (Joe and McKenna from the previous book) gravitate towards each other with nary a concern for the consequences. Joaquin agrees to take boudoir pictures of Kenna for her boyfriend, not realizing that the request is a thinly-veiled seduction tactic from the frustrated and frisky young woman. The photo session is just the first of several completely predictable scenes, giving readers all the detailed thrills they want without any unnecessary character development or distracting plot. What you see is what you get, and if that's what you're looking for you won't be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This was a hot forbidden best friend's daughter story. Joaquin is an enforcer on the Houston hockey team and a professional photographer with his own studio. Kenna uses the excuse of wanting to have sexy photos taken to give to her boyfriend, but she really wants to make a play for Joe. Joe has also lusted after her since she turned eighteen. When she makes her move, he does not resist. The two cannot stay away from each other and eventually get caught by her father Matt. Despite his hard feelings, they decide to pursue a relationship.

The NHL was Never so Steamy!
The Enforcer, Book 3 of The Bad Boys of the NHL Series by author Heather C. Myers. This is an erotic novella that can be read in about two hours. The storyline is about Joaquin the hockey player who is in lust with his best friend’s adult daughter, Kenna and, she in turn is in lust with him. Kenna makes the first move in letting her intentions known and they are off and romping. But is it forever? Especially when her dad finds out? Will he put a damper on their HEA?

He is the enforcer for the Houston Rangers and at 40 he is getting close to the end of his career so he also runs a phot studio. Joe(Joaquin) as been lusting after his best friends daughter Kenna for a while but she is only eighteen so he is staying away. When Kenna arrives at his studio saying she wants boudoir photos for her boyfriends it is more than he can handle and things get steamy. What he doesn't know is that Kenna really wants him and this was all a plan to get the man she has wanted for quite awhile Will he father handle he been with his old friend do they have a future together You will need to read to see

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Joaquin and Kenna. She's 18 and has a crush on her dad's best friend Joaquin. Joaquin it's a professional hockey player and photographer. When she approaches Joaquin to take risque pictures of her for her boyfriend, he knows he should turn her away, but he can't. He's desired her for a while. Things heat up but there have to keep it hidden. Unfortunately her dad is not happy. To risk their happiness to save his friendship is a risk they are willing to take. Excellent read!!

Loved this story. Joaquin is the enforcer for his hockey team. His in his early forties and is also a photographer. Kenna is his best friend's eighteen year old daughter and she wants Joaquin to take pictures of her for her boyfriend. Things get hit and heavy during the photo shoot and now neither of them is sure what to do about their attraction. Grab this wonderful book today and find out what happens when Kenna's dad finds out. Great read!!!

Loved this older man/younger woman romance , Kenna lusts after and tempts her dad's best friend hockey player and photographer Joaquin , unknown to her he has lusting after her also , even when he see's other women , great banter going on between them including the sexual innuendo's , but what happens when her dad finds out , a great read that's well written with a good storyline and great awesome characters , with drama , lust , passion , some hot scenes and more , a must read

This entire series is appropriately subtitled Bad Boys of the NHL. And Joaquin is the baddest boy so far. He knows when he takes the pictures of Kenna that they're crossing a line that they can't uncross. She's his best friend's 18-year-old daughter, and is so attracted to him. Everything is just humming along, until Daddy finds her phone and sees texts and pictures. Really enjoyed this book - hope there are more in the series.

This is the third book in this series. This is about Joaquin the Enforcer on the hockey team and much older then Kenna his best friend's daughter. He know he should have these feelings but he does. He also is a photographer and when Kenna wants special pictures for her boyfriend, it takes everything Joaquin has to keep his feelings in tack. This is a steamy sexy hot read with a great story, off the charts chemistry. You will not put this one down. Can't wait the for next book in this series. A must read.

A passionate and taboo story about an older man and a much younger woman, his best friend’s daughter. This speedy little read is scorching hot as the chemistry between Joaquin and Kenna sizzles from the page. The book has a very open-ended finish to the story, so I’m very curious to see what’s going to happen in the next book.

This is hot, intense and suspenseful. Joaquin wants his best friend's daughter, but knows it can't be so he just fantasizes about her. Kenna has the hits for Joaquin, and she decides that it's time to act on it. She knows he watches her, and knows he wants her too, and she has the perfect way to get him. And poor Joaquin has no chance against her. It's very entertaining.

this book reads nicely away, but it gives me a lot of confusion. because it has an open end because their situation is not really resolved. nothing is lacking in chemistry .. the story itself is also good but I missed something .. which I didnt have with the other parts. mine therefore 3 stars.

Kenna and Joachim are double taboo, but my goodness Kenna is a force to reckon with as she takes no prisoner and Joachim is just happy to oblige her every whim despite knowing that his best friend will not be best pleased.

The scenes in the studio are absolute hot and Joachim is the ultimate bad boy

The main characters are fighting their attraction to each other because he’s so much older than she is and she’s the daughter of one of his teammates and best friends. The story flows nicely, there are steamy scenes and it’s a quick read with likable characters.
