This enormous book needs to be in the elementary classroom of any teacher who is planning a lesson of projects dealing with children living in the Ancient World. Phillip Steele who has a love of explaining to children working with and learning many concepts and ideas that have shaped our understanding of Ancient History when it comes to children had written and edited a masterpiece of a book on the subject. I love the pictures and photos along with the projects to attach to a lesson plan on Ancient Egypt, Rome, China, and the Aztec Empire for children ages 8-12. The book is expensive but worth the price. LJ Steele,MA
