I've read four of the books in this collection so far, and just WOW! I've loved every single one.
I always read out of order, so my reviews are in no way a list of which one is better.

I'll start with Angela Kulig's Bone Deep because I've read the entire Skeleton Lake series, but I hadn't read this bonus book with Alex's POV. AMAZING and, at times, heartwrenching. I wanted to kick him, and then I wanted to hug him. There were so many emotions at play in this book, I literally felt them all. It's like that throughout the entire series. I'm a huge fan of Skeleton Lake and Skelton Song. If you haven't read them, you can get them in a box set. 5 stars!

Blood Curse by Adrienne Blake - I absolutely adored this book! Holly is attempting to leave her life behind, but a freakin' vamp (and I generally salivate over vamps) hinders her plans. If not for Noah, a sexy-as-sin shapeshifter, stepping in to save her and introducing her into a supernatural world she had no idea existed, she would have been long dead.
In this somewhat (and will be) steamy romance build-up, meet two kickbutt characters who decide to take matters into their own hands. Hands down, this is a five-star book! I've also had the pleasure of reading the first few chapters of book two, and let me tell you, it only gets better. Sizzle!

Rightful Reign by Anna Applegate - I need more! This book left me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was dying... waiting on pins and needles to see what would happen next. The non-stop action had me reeling. I went straight to her website after to pre-order book 2. Darnit. I have to wait, but not for long. It's really that good! It will draw you in from word one and take you for a ride. 5 stars! Loved it!

Forgotten Magic by Char Webster - I finished this sometime in the wee hours of the morning. I was left with my mouth hanging open. I went in search for book two, and thankfully, I won't have to wait too long. Char created a unique world of magic and characters unlike any I'd ever read before. I was intrigued and hooked from the beginning. Not to mention the humor--gotta have a little humor. The build-up for the blooming romance was smokin' hot (for me). I love a slow burn that gives you just a taste of what's to come. And the magic... I am a huge fan of magic in general, and the world building for this book was fantastic. I truly enjoyed it. I can't wait for book two! I need more!

Overall FIVE STARS!

I only read two of the books in this set but since they are by two authors that I love I just had to get my hands on them. The first one I dove into was Death's Angel by Jen L. Grey which is very well written and draws you in to the story until you are whimpering because it was over. The second one I enjoyed was Blood Curse by Adrienne Blake. This is a nice take on vampires and shifters that took a turn that was new to me yet still quite enjoyable. I imagine that the other stories in this set are just as awesome as these making this a great value for the price. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I only read the novella BLUE PERSUASION out of this set. This prequel is annoyingly intriguing. We have a heroine of unusual heritage meeting a man of unusual antecedents in the middle of a B&E, which leads to lots of soul searching and a determination to face off with enemies of usual strength. That is where it ends. Dang it, Ms. Viragh, you have really hooked my curiosity - when are you producing the novel that follows this prequel?

Rightful Reign is another of the books in the Strange Magic anthology. The author has created an interesting dilemma to be resolved. The situation promises intrigue and future romance. I find the characters are not clearly as developed as they could be; I expect that would be happening in the sequels. Unfortunately, while the story is interesting , it feels a little flat without that development.

So far I've read Blood Curse by Adrienne Blake(I skip around in collections and anthologies). I loved the appeal of trying to break a curse to keep Holly's humanity. With the help of Noah the antisocial werewolf of course. You dont see many stories like this one so it increased the appeal factor for me. They're racing against the clock to find Micah and try to keep her humanity in tact. Along the way they learn more and more things and meet several people who unwittingly play roles as well. I loved the idea of the story and the execution of how it plays out as well. Its fantasy but with realistic twists in it too so you can relate to a lot of issues even with having that element of fantasy.

Based on how much I loved Blood Curse I cant wait to finish diving into this collection

I haven't had the chance to read the entire boxset yet but I have thoroughly enjoyed the story
Blue Persuasion by Breah Viragh
You start off with a gut punch and a freak of nature and then the author turns her into Wonder Woman warrior of the people. She is cold and emotionally stilted. This author has characters that make us want them to be more and do more and get invested in the outcome. I love York. I like that he challenged her and brought her out of the dead zone, she was starting to get itchy and unsettled about being a part of it all. . I love this author's style and this story I want more!!

I have read two books in this collection - Death's Angel by Jen.L. Grey and Rightful Reign by Anna Applegate.
Both of them were fast paced quick reads with interesting characters and one main plotline which was complex enough to provide entertainment, build up a proper fantasy world, and pull the reader deep within the story in minutes.
Especially in the case of Rightful Reign where I know there is a sequel story I would love to continue the journey with the main heroine, Alexia, and see how she would solve the complicated situation with being mated to half angel that fell to disgrace with his superiors.

They are trying to find out how they got these special powers. Will they bring Marisol in to help them? Will they figure out why they have the powers? If they find out will they be able to accept it?
