An unusual opportunity presents itself… Monroe is tired of working dead-end jobs and knows she has to do something with her life, aside from serving coffee at the local shop. But then the local college admissions officer offers Monroe an opportunity – a full scholarship to take a course that is dominated by men to help promote women in the trades. She has no prior knowledge of welding, but as the admissions officer points out – what does she have to lose? But there’s one big problem… From the moment she first sets eyes on him, Monroe feels a strong and undeniable pull toward one of her instructors. Boston is a confident, sexy, charismatic man who ignites the fires within her with just a look and it’s evident he feels the same way. Monroe knows that pursuing him would be wrong, forbidden, but her reasoning is a poor match for the craving he provokes within her. Is he worth risking her future for? Or should she ignore the passion between them and focus on her tasks at hand?
This was an okay read. Not the best student teacher relationship book I have read, but it was good. It was a short read that followed Monroe Reese, a girl entering college last minute and going into the welding program, and meeting her teacher, Boston Knox. I wish there was more development for the characters. Also, I wish that it was longer, so there could have been more added to the story. Monroe was a good character. I liked her attitude and her determination through a course that she knew nothing about. Boston was interesting. I wish I had more background on his character to see what he was like in the past as a welder. The ending was sweet. I am glad that they got a happy ending. Overall, an alright read.
This is a very short story. There is not much in substance but the characters are yummy. I thought the story was getting good then ended. I wanted to know what happened with Fred. I mean what is she doing with the diploma. I was kinda disappointed.
This was a good story of a student teacher relationship. It was a short read and I would like to have had more development of both characters. But I enjoyed the story line. She gets the degree, the man and a family.
I adore student/teacher stories, they seem so naughty. This one was particularly hot and dirty. Instant attraction, fast paced and a happily ever after. A quick, easy and entertaining read.
