Great idea but too long for a single book. This book could easily be split up into a 3 or 4 part series to allow for more "show not tell" to extend the storyline. The main character/narrator goes through too much for a single book. I felt like I was speeding through his timeline. If the book was split into several installments, the author could do more
"Show not tell" and create a better environment to feel for each character. The only problem was feeling rushed through several stories. I want the time to meet the characters... give me a reason to care about them so I want to keep reading to see what's next.
Overall the idea is solid. Lots of research and planning went into this. There is a lot of time and effort. I just wish there was more of a slow progression to meet everyone and understand them being fast forwarding to action, but that's just me.
