Touch Me, Please Me Novelist, Cedric Compton is in the town of Mystic for one purpose only—to meet his second extended deadline. The key to making that happen is completing his research on the myth of the Desirable Witches. But when he knocks on the door of one of the reputed witches and the beautiful Sahara answers, the last thing on Cedric’s mind is work. Sahara Baker takes her role as protector of the Mystic vector very seriously. She’s also not ashamed of acting on the insatiable desire bestowed upon her kind, so inviting the handsome writer into her bed is natural—keeping him out of her world and her heart is a little more complicated.
Tease Me, Take Me Kitaka “Kit” Valentine is a Desirable witch with the power of vision. When she receives a premonition of danger that warns “they will come in twos,” she’s ready to act. She had no way of knowing that the two she hunted would introduce her to the two that would be her salvation. Jack and Rad are business partners and best friends. Meeting Kit opens a door to more than just a magical world neither of them knew existed; it breaches the surface of the deep, dark sexual hunger that could destroy them all.
Teach Me, Love Me Melody McCain is about to learn she cannot run from her destiny—whether that’s acknowledging she’s part of a powerful group of witches, or accepting that she’s part of a relationship more passionate and rewarding than she could have ever imagined. Terrell Chase is game for joining his friend and teammate, Sean Brinkley for a week-long getaway, especially when Sean informs Terrell that his girlfriend, Melody, will be there too. What begins as a road to seduction quickly shifts into a battle to save not only their lives, but the lives of everyone in the vector left unguarded by a Desirable witch.

This morning I slept late and then hours later took a nap in a chair, and it’s only mid-afternoon. Some days apparently just require a little extra rest and relaxation. They might also require a book that is pure escapism, one so fluffy it would float away on a light breeze. Wicked: The Desirable Witches is just such a book.
It’s a series of three interconnected novellas, each one expanding the worldbuilding and extending the overall story while featuring a different sexy couple (or trio!). The heroines are all sister witches, called Desirables because they’re all beautiful and sexually voracious. They are charged with fighting phantoms that invade the world and threaten humans and witches alike. And when they’re not battling evil, they’re having a whole lot of close encounters of a carnal nature. Sahara, Kit, and Melody are all badass witches and super fun to read about, but their different powers keep each section fresh and interesting. Powerful, sexy women who get to be the heroes of their own stories--I really can’t think of anything I’d rather read about right now.
Wicked is a collection of short stories. Even though the stories are somewhat intertwined, I'm not the biggest fan of short stories. This novel also comes with a disclaimer. It contains very sexually explicit imagery (hence the name Desirable Witches) to include menage-a-trois, M/M, and F/F so if that's not for you leave this one alone. I was fine with it, because it was tasteful. I thought this was an interesting premise about 3 witches of color battling phantoms and the romantic relationships these witches had with mortals battling by their side. The witches are protectors of their sector and are expected to watch over the safety of their wards. My favorite story was between Cedric and Sahara, which is why the overall novel gets 4 stars. As a Desirable witch, Sahara practices promiscuity and does not believe in monogamy. She is a sexual being that expresses when, where, how and with whom she pleases. Cedric is a fantasy writer that has been researching the desirable witches and Sahara specifically to aid in his next book. Sahara and Cedric meet one night in the midst of a phantom attack and their attraction to each other is explosive and a major distraction for Sahara. She has to deal with her feelings for him, her responsibility to her wards, and figure out how to overcome the phantoms. I wanted more from this story and didn't feel that it was finished when it ended. There was more I wanted to know and wished it was a full-length novel.
The other 2 stories were okay, but again they ended a little too abruptly for me. I am not that into paranormal stories, but A.C. Arthur is a great writer and can pull it off well so I was willing to give this one a try. I was fine with the how erotic the scenes were. The content is very adult, but there was nothing that was sadistic or non-consensual. However, in the case of the other 2 witches, Kit and Melody, it was heavy on the sexual aspect of the characters' relationships with each other with not enough attention on their emotional or mental connections in my opinion. So I didn't connect with those 2 stories like I did with Touch Me, Please Me. Overall, I think this an enjoyable read that I would recommend and I am more open to trying a paranormal/fantasy novel after reading this book.
Out of my comfort zone but happy to have given these stories a try
I love A.C. Arthur as a writer. I like her ability to change my mind and how I view literature. Having said that. Can I say yes to the unorthodox path of the menega. Like really what a view that I've never seen or heard of. Also the powers. Love it. I still find Oliver and Sahara as my favorite couple. I'm too much of a traditionalist to not gravitate towards them more. Yet Kit owning her sexuality and her truth was liberating.
If you want something different and that has you like wow, then definitely read Wicked: The Desirable Witches
As a huge fan of A.C. Arthur’s shifters series, it was great to see non-animal leads in this book of paranormal stories. These stories were so hot I think my kindle caught fire lol. I hope to see more Desirable stories in the future especially a backstory on the high priestess. Job well done Ms. Arthur on another hit.
3 novellas that push the envelope. If you enjoy your reads with a more erotic twist, you will enjoy these short stories. Each one focus on a witch finding love while combating evil forces. A good introduction into this fantasy world.
These short stories were good and too hot to put into words. I loved the good versus evil segments in the book and how the Desirable Witches always won. Looking forward to reading more books by A.C. Author
I love the story of these witches. They're fierce and powerful. They also all have a softer side. I would actually love a whole series dedicated to the Desirables.
I enjoyed reading each story in Wicked. I enjoyed the chemistry and the connection between the couples in each story. I enjoyed the storyline as well. Such an awesome book.
