Orange Slices: Short Stories

Rate this book
This collection is comprised of forty-three short stories and two poems. I have many more poems from long ago which were published in my first book, Love and Other Natural Disasters.

The stories in this collection range from a Western to love stories to what is now known as the creepy pasta genre. Basically, they are horror/supernatural in nature.

Be warned many of them have adult language and adult situations. I hope you won’t hold this against me.

In all honesty, I've been working on this book for over a month.
I go through phases of wanting to read novella length, novel length, and other times shorts.
I've been reader longer stories lately (200 pages +), so I used this book as a buffer between book breaks. After finishing a book, I'd read 2 -3 of shorts of these, and move on to the next book.
This was like opening a mystery grab bag and not knowing which type of story you'd get next.
There's drama, a western, horror, paranormal, etc... Too many genres to list.
This book came to my attention by the author, who I've chatted with a few times, and realized he's just a cool person. Have you ever met someone online and got to know them and think to yourself, 'what kind of imagination does this person have?' That's what happened here. Turns out Willoughby has a vast imagination of many, many topics. Which is cool.
So why, Sea, why the 4 stars and not 5? Simply because some of the stories weren't my typical read. Not the fault of the author. For example, Westerns just aren't to my liking, even though his western short ended quite nicely. I highly recommend this book to someone looking for a variety of shorts.
