I do not understand why I keep reading this authors books. They are just not for me. The writing is sickly sweet and the kink is almost non existent or as vanilla as bdsm can get. I'm glad other readers enjoy them so much but it's time for me to give up!

I have never been disappointed with this series or with a Shaw Montgomery book. This is Casey's story. Casey was shy almost to the point of pain. Wonderful, Patient, Preston was a Dom /caretaker with the patience of a saint. From Casey's shyness I thought this one would be a slow-burn, or at least lots of angst.... which I hate, but it was perfectly paced. Along with sexy guys there is some very, very light BDSM, but a 100% sweet romance. Overall, just a fun, sweet and sexy story. This and the other books in this series can be read as a stand-alone but is much better if read in order. All of the characters are all back with the group in every book. One big happy family! I love not losing touch and seeing them interact...even bratty Eli:)

Omg! I Loved it! I ADORE men in panties but I think Casey is my favorite! I relate to him so hard! His shy but kinky nature made it so hard to put this book down. It was also really nice to catch back up with Lane and Eli from the previous two books. I loved everything about Casey and I definitely recommend this book as well as the rest of the series.

I really think this might be my favourite one yet!!
I loved Casey right away. His shyness and insecurity was sweet and endearing.

Nice? The nearly naked men in the sexiest things I'd ever seen were just nice?
Preston gave me a questioning look. He couldn't seem to decide what to say to that. Did he think I hated the lingerie? did he think I was insane and couldn't form real sentences? Did he think I was too shy to deal with?
"I'm glad you're enjoying it."
Kiss of death, he'd given me the businessman voice again.
The dinner that Casey had with Lane and Eli was hilarious! Funniest scene I've read in a while..
Preston does a great job of drawing Casey out of his comfort zone and helping him to admit what he wants.
This is a beautiful story with all the feels. It's full of friendship, sweetness and love, all the things we've come to expect from this author.

I had no idea who Casey was, so it was a nice surprise that he was Preston's stress relief from Eli. The drunk night was the best and not how Eli planned it to go. Casey and Lane were cute together. I was surprised Eli hadn't found his blog and shown it to Preston. It was sweet and a little chaotic.

I enjoyed reading this but it felt too short and like it glossed over too much. I've been waiting for Preston's story since book 1 and this kind of disappointed me.

l love hanging around Leashes and Lace ,
so another story from all my cute and sexy models makes me happy.
Casey is Lane's friend, and often visits him at L&L,
he is also one of the firms accountants , so he does have a legit reason to be there .
He doesn't go there praying to bump in to Preston, nope,
the man has him all flustered and shy unable to make eye contact.
Why does Preston make him feel like he wants fall on his knees for him?
But Casey adores all the pretty lingerie, and sexy nightwear,
he buys them and wears them secretly, loving how they make him feel.
He unburdens all of his frustrations in his blog,
his readers understand him, but why are they pushing him for more ?
Preston is very , very aware of Casey,
the sweet boy, calls to his dominant nature, but he looks easily spooked.
Deciding he needs to take his time, Preston approaches Casey slowly,
not realising that this is turning his boy in to a nervous wreck.
The diva that is Eli has had enough of watching them dance around each other.
He has to intervene, he needs to do something so big that Preston will have to take charge.
Maybe a night out with Casey and Lane is what is needed,

Casey is SO adorable! He and Preston are lovely together. But holy CRAP, drunk Casey and Lane are hilarious -- I love the fact that Eli has to be the responsible one of the three -- karma!!!

To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King,
'Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya or
'Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd),
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole

Awe, so sweet, funny AND sexy!
I always expect to love a Shaw Montgomery book and certainly love Casey! What I didn't expect was to see lots of myself in one like I did here. Although I'm now a senior citizen, I was very much like Casey (except female) when younger, very shy, very knowledgeable but painfully inexperienced and wishing for someone to take charge and show me the ropes sexually. Not so much Dom/sub, but teacher/student. As I read, it brought back those feelings because they were so truthfully and realistically written by Shaw. I am fascinated by excellent writers and how they can put down the words that bring out the emotions that sometimes have lain dormant for many years to the front of your life. That is truly an incredible talent!
I also absofreakenlutely adored the scene where Eli takes Casey and Lane to dinner to try to loosen up Casey so they can find out if he's interested in Preston. Some other readers are calling it the Casey and Lane Drunk Scene. It is SPECTACULARLY HILARIOUS! I will caution you right now that there is a time about one-third of the way in where you will not be able to stop yourself from Laughing Out Loud so be sure you are in a space where you won't be embarrassed when reading it. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT, try to read this scene quietly in church, or at a boring science class lecture or at the annual company stockholders meeting because you'll be unable to hold back you chuckles and guffaws along with possible holding of your sides and even rolling on the floor laughing.

This is my favorite of the Leashes and Lace series (all of which I love very much!) for a couple of reasons. One, I've been waiting so long for Preston to find his guy! And secondly, because of Casey's journey from being too shy to even speak to most people at Leashes and Lace, to feeling confident enough to embark on a relationship and to understand and accept what he needs and be able to ask for it (even if only by nodding!). There were tiny hints of him in the earlier books in this series, but the author chose to include Casey's blog from the year prior to the beginning of the book so that we get to see more of that journey. I love Shaw Montgomery/MA Innes' shy guys--she does such a great job with them!--and Casey is another one who it's such a pleasure to see find the man who matches him just right and helps him to bloom. Also there's a scene involving alcohol and Eli, Lane, and Casey that is hilarious! And a bonus online chapter at the end that introduces a few new characters in a sweet way. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series, and I'm hoping maybe it'll be about the poor shy UPS delivery guy!

Aww I loved Casey's story.
4.5 stars..I love this series of the authors. The characters are adorable and scenes are hotter than hot. I didnt like the bold print story between chapters it took away from the story in this.. includes virgin, learning about being submissive and rules, hot sexy scenes and man panties. Casey and Preston make a gorgeous couple.
Casey is still figuring who he is apart from being an accountant. His friends draw him into Leaches And Lace as part of his friends lingerie business going forward.
Preston presumes Casey is straight as the little conversations they've had. He opperates the company and tries to keep his models in line, well mainly Eli. Lol

I’m so disappointed! I love this series because of the depth of the characters and the complexities of the relationships they’re in. That was NOT the case with this book. Preston and Casey are mostly cardboard cutout characters. The sex scenes were pretty good, but I kept waiting for a story to happen. Nope. I had originally been disappointed that it seemed like the series had ended with three books, but now I’m sorry that it didn’t. If there’s a fifth book - which, yes please, because we need to know what’s up with the UPS guy! - PLEASE go back to giving us characters and plots with depth!

This is a very sweet and funny - not to mention very sexy - story. Preston has incredible patience, and he allows Casey to get to know him and become comfortable with him for almost a year before moving beyond friendship. Casey is shy and quiet, but he figures out that he wants to submit, wear panties, and get his man. Eli and Lane are great friends to Casey and encourage him along the way. Drunk Casey and Lane are so funny!

Shy and sweet
This is a long awaited story for me, I adore Eli but he has surpassed by Casey, who is my new favorite character and the blog scenes between the chapters were a real insight into how he grew in confidence and accepted what he wanted. The scenes between Casey and Preston were among some of the sweetest and hottest I have read in some time and drunk Casey is simply brilliant.
This is a fantastically well written book which is a must read for any fan of Shaw Montgomery's work.

Casey's shyness was a little over the top and I wasn't the biggest fan of the blog thing in between everything but for the most part this was a great story. Casey and Preston had been circling each other forever. Seeing them finally come together was great. Preston is the sweetest most patient man and does a great job of gently coaxing Casey out of his shell just a little bit.
I actually liked Eli in this one too. He was much more kind with Casey than he usually is. Casey and Lane drunk were hilarious! I need more of that type of stuff with these guys

well worth the wait
Casey is so shy and innocent , but in his mind he knows exactly what he wants . Preston is a workaholic Dom who is curious about Casey . It's a beautifully written story of how Casey becomes comfortable with Preston and their relationship grows . Love that Eli is in this book . Can be read on its own but if you rest the whole series you get to know the characters x

Casey has a huge crush on Preston. And the two of them get together in the sweetest way and it's very funny. Thanks mostly to Eli and some of the Leashes and Lace crew. And of course Shaw Montgomery!

The writer definitely brings all the characters to life but the drunk scene had years of laughter running down my face as I am sure we have all been in Casey'and Eli's position at some point in our lives . Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tedious and much too sweet.
If you enjoy BDSM and have read a few, there is nothing new here. In fact the emphasis is on cutesy. Eli is the most entertainment in these pages and he is not a main character. Casey is shy and boring so getting together with the dom is excruciatingly slow. We know who this couple is 15% into the book and nothing changes. I skipped most of it to check out the ending.

I liked this one. I see a lot of myself in Casey. I'm not always confident enough to tell my master what I want. I was a virgin when we started (we're married now). In fact, for the first year of our relationship, I would go home and email him about how I felt about what we had done that day. It was easier for me to take my time and write it all down, and I could be more candid about things because I was less embarrassed.

The fourth book in the Leashes and Lace series is with Preston and Casey!
Preston is the owner of LnL and Casey is the shy accountant from one of the companies that supply the clothes. This was more sweet than the other books. I love how between each chapters are blog posts from Casey’s blog where he just gush over Preston pre-dating. Even though for me the story dragged on, i was still excited reading till the end. Now onwards to the fifth!

I have been waiting for the series to continue on audio. I am so excited to see it now. I love Casey’s story. I like how you get a look back at the process that brings him to the place at the beginning of the story. Casey is so sweet and his interaction with the other guys is so much fun. I also like the way Preston gives him the space to be ready for each step of their growing relationship. The audio was also well done.

The Leashes and Lace series is superb and this latest addition (Casey) is wonderful. This is the story of the owner (Preston) and shy quiet Casey. Throughout the story you get to see glimpses of Casey's online blog and see him slowly with Preston help come out of his shell and into his own. Of course there is their wonderful HEA too!

Oh Casey! I couldn’t help but fall in love with the shy, easily blushing man. His desires are so clear to see. Preston and his need to take care of someone, and be there for them, was beautiful to watch. I loved the story line, as it unfolded and it was beautiful to watch all the friendships unfold.
