They had eight minutes to prepare for the apocalypse...
Clive Bowman expects a downed grid, and plenty of public hysteria, but as the solar storms increase in size and frequency, the sun continues to dim, casing the earth in perpetual darkness. Without the sun, power, or communications, Bowman and a handful of survivors not only fight for their lives, they work to find those they love, doing so in the hope that humanity itself is not in the midst of its last days.
Sky Fall is an edge-of-your-seat thrill-ride written as an episodic series.* This series, created by co-author of the bestselling series Long Fall, follows a group of unlikely survivors and their families as they brave uncharted waters against insurmountable odds and a weather disaster of epic proportions. Sky Fall will leave you breathless wondering, if this happened, could I survive? Well, could you?
*Expect one 25,000+ word episode to be released each month.
Logan Keys says she’s not so much a writer as she is a soothsayer and preparer for those who are still blissfully unaware. Her stories aren’t dystopian but rather a warning for the next generation. When she’s not writing zombies, vampires, superheroes, and robots, she’s fighting against government over-reach and oligarchy using military tactics mixed with a little bit of poetry.
Logan’s currently on her little farm in Kentucky typing away on many projects at once.

I really enjoy the ideas in this book but I think there's too many characters to really connect to. I am struggling to care what happens to these people. I will continue onto the next but I am not sure if I am liking it enough to continue to the end.
White Flare Sky Fall #2 Sci-Fi Logan Keys ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

This was a good sequel, although there were a few inconsistencies, for example, in the first book, Patty had named her unborn child "Mae" but in this book it was "May".
The characters were developed well and I really liked the friendship that grew between Clive and Siri. Even though there was a large agile gap, they connected well and fought to survive together. Siri had a great sense of humour that helped keep Clive grounded while trying to find his family.
The pacing was a little slow for me but I still enjoyed how each of the characters overcome different challenges and struggles.
The ending was good and I felt sorry for Kentucky as he suddenly realised how alone he was.
I'm very curious about what happened to Corwin and Griggs' involvement in what happened to the world.
I'm enjoying this series so far and I hope the next book is even better.
White Flare, the 2nd book in the Sky Fall series, continues the saga of the survivors of the flare trying to find each other and lost loved ones who may have survived, facing new challenges like armed looters and a flooded out Colorado river and a lost submarine, oh, and don't forget the gator! The characters are becoming a bit more well defined, particularly Clive, Kent, Kai and Siri along with introducing new characters and ending on a major cliffhanger! Highly recommended for fans of apocalyptic thrillers, but especially fans of Mike Kraus, Justin Bell, Tara Ellis and Kenny Soward!
I really wanted to give this a five. No other dystopian author has blasted the sun to create an earthly disaster and whether or not that is even scientifically feasible doesn’t bother me. Characters are developing with their unique quirks and, likely as a real scenario, would group dissimilar people together into survival groups. Whether they survive together remains to be seen and helps make this an interesting read. I cannot give a five when there are grammar errors and inconsistent spelling of names.
loved this book although both have been very short but there's no padding it's just immediately right onto what is happening and there is a lot going on. It does jump to different characters and that jolts me because I'm so into what I'm reading and then it changes to another set and I start over. It's such a different and good book that a bit of confusion is worth it. An excellent story.
Disasters! Intrigue! Action! Please write more of this series!!! Loved the General.....and the tea bits...added personality with a wry twist.....would love to know more about him....variety of characters from different walks of life not the run of the mill series so far.....
Enjoying this new slant on post apocalyptic thriller. There are a lot of characters introduced at the same time. Took a bit of to-ing and fro-ing till I worked them out. Unfortunately seems I started on book 2 , so that's probably confusing me too. Looking forward to reading the 1st book now.
I’ve only read the two books in the series but I have found it very page turning, edge of the seat sitting, and worth every minute that I have read and enjoyed, looking forward to more of the story and getting deeper into the characters
This book is very, very short which makes it hard to get much character development. We did get a little plot movement and some information on what was known a few years before. Clive and Siri have the best character interaction in my opinion but just when I am getting into the story it ends.
This is the second book in a series. The CME has caused massive damage. The book continues seeing what happens to various people when that happens. Society has collapsed and there's the expected turning to violence on the parts of some armed thugs.
I grew up a military brat...Fort Benning and Fort Stewart Georgia, 3 years in Baumholder and Kaiserslatern Germany. Your book brought back fond childhood memories. This book series is amazing. I have yet to read a book I didn't like from you!🤗
This installment to the series is great. The characters are everyday people doing their best in a situation no one has ever suffered before. There are so many dangers but still they struggle on. Cool.
The Sky Fall series contains books that are approximately 80 pages and take me apart one hour to read. I'm enjoying them but I keep finding myself confused by the timeline and the way the story jumps groups of characters/locations.
The second book is still as good as the first. Really enjoying the characters and so far the story is believable (to me anyway). No over the top stupid heroics etc. well worth reading
I am quickly becoming a fan of short books! The pacing has to be quick out of necessity, and the writing has to be tight to convey everything that is needed to cover plot and character development. This author is handling it like a pro, and I am loving all of these characters more and more.
I am seriously into this storyline and already got the next in the series! Can hardly wait to begin reading the episode. Great characters that are believable and they’re scattered across the US so the sun-plots are very interesting. I highly recommend it.
Way too short and quite confusing. Are Lila and Daniel brother and sister? If Griggs told his sister, Lila about the solar storm and she built the shelter why was it named “the Griggs house”? In part of the story when the teenager was talking about them, it sounded like they were a married couple.
