Lost in the backwoods of Arkansas, I never expected to be taken by a motorcycle club. Their leader is dark, dirty-hot, and frighteningly gorgeous. I should be terrified of Brick, but my traitorous body wants him to take me. He’s rough, mean, and wants to split me in two. It’s sinful to want this much pleasure. But I can’t deny it. I’ll give it to him any way he wants it, but I’ll never give up my heart.
Brick
This naïve city Omega doesn’t know how much trouble he’s in. He saunters into my bar, in my town, without a care in the world. Well, that’s about to change. I’m going to ruin him. I’m going to do everything to his tight little body. I’m going to leave him babbling and covered in my sticky mess. He thinks he’s going to have a little fun then take off. But he’s never going to escape. I won’t let him. He’s my toy now. And I’ll kill any man who tries to take him from me. Filthy Love is a darkly delicious Mpreg romance. Some themes may disturb. You have been warned.
i really wanted to love this book. but it fell short for me. i don't mind the non-con, especially when the characters have depth and find their hea, a rocky start is fine. this was too over the top for me. and way more sex than real feelings. i was given an arc for an honest review.

After the death of his alcoholic and drug addicted father, Shay is finally free and can enjoy life as much as his small savings allow him. The young man decides to start over, away from his current place of residence. On his way to the new beginning, Shay is so hungry that he stops his car in front of a suspicious diner, and although all his senses seem to shout at him that this is a terrible idea, he decides to have a meal at "Black Hearts". In this way, the Omega puts his head in the lion's mouth. Surrounded by the members of a Motorcycle Club full of Alphas, the young man has no chance to escape, and the fact that Brick, the MC's President, is interested in him is a nail in his coffin. Being finer and weaker, Shay is at the mercy of a stranger who decides to keep him for himself against his will and use him in all possible ways.
I think I will start my review of "Filthy Love" with the topic of the characters, as they are undoubtedly one of the most important elements of this story. Truth be told, they are not impressive, but they are not the worst either, as they have their disadvantages but also many advantages. First of all, we get to know them from the perspective of the events taking place in the book, as well as their past, which gives us a certain picture of who they are, but I have the impression that our insight into their psyche is limited, even if the first-person narrative doesn't indicate it. Nevertheless, with time we have the opportunity to see what lies deep in their souls, and it really works in their favor. It is worth noting that Eva Leon focused on her characters as individuals and in terms of their creation, she largely pushed the subject of their gender aside, made it almost invisible, which is a great advantage of "Filthy Love". In fact, all the positive and negative qualities of Shay and Brick result from the fact that they are who they are and not from the traits associated with being an Alpha or an Omega. I admit that I really like it in this book.
Due to the vibe of the novel, "Filthy Love" can be divided into three fairly equal parts, which correspond to three stages of the two lead characters' relations. At this point, I must say that for me the part hardest to endure was the first one, which was the very beginning of Shay and Brick's story. However, it doesn't mean that it was bad. It was just really rough, definitely rougher than I expected when I decided to read this novel. That is why at the beginning of my adventure with this book I had some difficulties with getting used to it. Let's start with the fact that I'm not a fan of the rape motif, and that's what we're dealing with here, because even if Shay's body reacts somewhat enthusiastically, his psyche is a completely different story. If we add to all of this the fact that Shay is only an innocent, naive boy who physically doesn't have the slightest chance against his tormentor, we get something really disturbing and dark, so definitely not every reader will be pleased with it. Personally, I consider it hard to read, which is somewhat a good thing, as it is in fact a dark romance.
It was much easier for me to get used to the second and third stage of the characters' relations, so in other words, to them slowly opening to each other, getting to know each other and finally to the love that began to be born between them. After getting through the first part of the novel, I breathed a sigh of relief and finally started to fully enjoy the reading. I think that touching this topic, I should point out that Shay and Brick's story consists of two extremes, as after the very dark beginning, which I mentioned in the previous paragraph, the author also shows us a brighter side of this novel. What's more, I will venture to say that it becomes even extremely sweet, which is great and I like it very much, as it suits my taste. It also allows us to see the characters from a completely different angle and in circumstances entirely different than at the beginning.
I must admit that the plot of "Filthy Love" is not particularly creative, but it has its undoubted advantages. One of them is the fact that it deals with the randomness of love and the possibility of finding it where people would not expect it. To a large extent, this is a very romantic accent of this somewhat dark story, which in a way reminds me of "Beauty and the Beast". What is more, the emphasis has also been placed on the broad topic of the second chance. On the one hand, Eva Leon shows us a chance given to a person who has made a serious mistake, on the other, she presents the possibility of starting a new, happy life, even if up till now everything seemed to be a big fat failure. Thanks to the fact that the plot is very simple and rather uncomplicated, we can see the deeper meaning of this novel much clearly.
To sum up, "Filthy Love" is probably one of the novels, that don't appeal to everyone because of its serious, dark themes, although you can definitely give it a chance. Personally, I don't regret that I decided to read this story, although it was rougher than I thought. People who are not discouraged by the theme of rape and descriptions of rather raw sex, during which the whole fist is used, definitely should read this book. However, I would recommend more sensitive people to refrain from giving this book a try, as "Filthy Love" is in many respects a dark and rough novel.

First book I read by the author. It has been hard to read, but I loved it more than I initially expected, and I recommend it.
If this were real life, I wouldn't have wanted a happy ending. I would have wanted to see Brick in jail and Shay happy, recovered, in love with another man. But it's not real life, it's a book. And what would not seem right to me in a real relationship, has not bothered me as I thought it would.
I don't like the beginning of their relationship. I hated Brick. But then he changed. He didn't want to hurt Shay, he never wanted to treat him like others did. He saw him differently from the other omegas, and he was, because he treated him differently. Shay didn't want to be with him just because he was who he was. He didn't even want to be with him, he thought he used him, like his father. But he found he was wrong. Brick did care about him, treated him with respect, listened to him. He could be himself, both of them could. They talked about things they had never told anyone. It was easy to open up, to get close to each other. At first, Shay didn't want to, he hated himself for thinking about him. And then it was impossible not to think about him. Brick didn't want to either, but he couldn't resist him. Shay made him want things he hadn't wanted before. Shay gave him hope. And he felt bad about everything he had done, about how he had treated him. He didn't deserve him. But he couldn't live without him either.
I loved the ending.
There's a phrase I love. "My whole world changed the minute I found out that I was going to be someone's parent. Learning to read felt nearly impossible sometimes, but I had to do it for my baby. What if they inherited dyslexia from me? I had to prove that I could learn to read so they would believe in themselves too. Because if I could do it, anyone could." Brick wants to be an example for his children, he wants to teach them that everything is possible.
I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This book is about a young omega named Shay who cared for his father until he died from his drug addiction. Shay decided to leave and start his life over. Shay was going to travel across country and when he stopped at a bar wanting to eat, he didn't realize he went into a biker bar. Shay knew he was in trouble and wanted to leave, but a group of alphas came in and one decided Shay should stay. Brick was the president of the Black Hearts MC and he wanted Shay to be his new sex toy. Brick took Shay back into the bar and got him a beer and some food. Shay was looking for a way to escape, but knew it would be hard to do, so he decided to play along until he had a better chance of escape. Brick took Shay back to his house and Shay thought he would let him go if he gave into him. Brick wanted to keep Shay and kept telling him he would let him go if he gave into him. As time went on. Shay began to realize he was stuck with Brick and he wasn't going to let him go, so Shay only had hope that Brick wouldn't kill him. They began to talk to one another while they were together and they got to know one another. Shay realized Brick was treating him better than anyone had ever treated him, even though he kidnapped him. Brick began to care for Shay and he wanted him to stay with him, but he thought Shay wouldn't want him. They started to care for each other and soon Brick started to take Shay out on his bike for rides. I liked this book, i think Shay and Brick were good for each other, but i hated Brick calling Shay Sugar Butt. I thought it was a horrible nickname. I know Shay hated Brick at the beginning because of the kidnapping, but i think he knew Brick wasn't going to hurt him after a little while. Both Brick and Shay never had anyone love them or support them and found it in each other. Good one.
I love mpreg and I love kinky titles this had BOTH. But it did not meet any expectations. It was a struggle to read through the shallow characters and the nonexistent plot. It was cheesier than real cheese. I HATED when Brick called Shay "sugar butt" like WTF?!
The toss in of the dubious non-con I felt was there to distract from the horrible writing. Every paragraph was literally a conversation between the characters. I want depth, intensity, and a story.
Brick was way too much of a jerk to be likable. He was such a wide character from being a butt alpha, to being kind. His emotions and reactions toward Shay were too inconsistent and extreme. Shay was too much of a hole to be likable. Non-shifter mpregs I guess are harder to write? I've read many of Aiden Bates' things that I adore as non-shifter, but good grief. This nearly killed me. I promised a review and so I gave one, but I really did not want to finish it.
Where is the connectivity between the readers and character(s). You can't have a story where both of the main characters are hated. Usually I like one aspect of a duoed book like this the kink, or the mpreg. Neither was written in well enough that it fit. It just seemed awkward. I really can't find anything positive to say about this book.
shay walks into a bar after his father passes and he leaves town. he hopes to grab a bite to eat and to be on his way but things didnt always turn out the way he wanted and he knew the moment he saw brick and his friends, he had made a huge mistake walking in that bar. Brick saw Shay and right away knew he couldnt let the omega get away. I didnt think I was going to enjoy this one at first when I first started it because i didnt like the way the two main characters brick and Shay met. I didnt like bricks character and thought he was a huge jerk at first and I didnt want them to be tougher at first but the more I read, the more bricks character grew on me. it seemed kind of stalk holme syndrome at first when Shay started to develop feelings for brick but then the characters started to show a real connection to one another and it seemed like they were both just two guys who had a rough life and brick was just badly misunderstood but Shay was just what he needed to help him see things for what they were. they realized they could be the ones to save one another. It was for sure a page Turner and I couldnt put it down.
This was a guilty pleasure read, and I loved it. Brick is a dominant MC club president who makes no apologies for his rough desires. He’ll take what he wants any way he wants it. Shay is the cute omega who falls into Brick’s clutches against his will. Soon the two of them are having hot, kinky sex. There are MPreg elements and also the relationship between Brick and Shay turns from forceful and domineering to one of love. This transition in their relationship happens a bit fast which can be problematic, but I didn’t dwell on that. Instead, I enjoyed the delicious darkness of the romance.
Overall Rating: 3.75 Stars. I love dark romances with twisted, kinky sex. This story had all those elements with sexy characters. The writing was fun, and entertaining.
At first when I started reading this book I was very unsure but I persisted and was glad I did. This is a new author for me and I will be looking into more books by them. This is a different starting book to what I am would normally read, but the main character made me stay. Shay is sweet kind Omega who deserves the world. Brick is dark and mysterious. There is a warning on the blurb.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow....love this story. Starts out rough...literally. Shay is dirt poor and after burying his dad sets off cross country to try to start a new life. He stops at the wrong bar for food. It's the Black Hearts biker bar. The president, Brick seizes the opportunity and takes Shay captive. Brick takes him to his home and keeps him there. At first Brick is forcing himself on Shay, but slowly they get to know each other and now Shay is hoping he doesn't ever have to leave.
A bit dicey on the non consensual side. It was a very fine line. Being kidnapped but also sexually attracted to Brick. I felt a little uneasy with the storyline but Shay never once said no or seemed to particularly regret any of the sex. He was more annoyed with himself for enjoying it.
This was nothing like what I was expecting. I don't mind M/M romances. I've read a decent amount of them and enjoyed most of them. However, this mpreg thing was just weird. I was also annoyed that Brick kept calling him sugar butt. They were happy in the end so that was good.
2 stars. From the blurb I was really excited about this but the execution was sloppy. The writing felt rushed, the dialogue was stilted and the characters lacked any type of depth or chemistry. It was a quick read but I wasn't impressed with it in the slightest. Even the smut wasn't that great unfortunately.
I loved Shay and thought he deserved so much better than this. He shouldn't have has to settle for Brick. I really hated Brick's character and found him no redeeming qualities. The blurb had me interested but the book and the dialogues were quite disappointing.
