Definitely the best book in this trilogy. I kind of wish there were more, now.
The action stayed exciting throughout the whole book.
I love that the author extended the book long enough after the end of the slayer/demon action to continue to build the relationships of all the main characters. It was like an extended epilogue, which was nice.
I'm wondering if she plans to write another series in this world about the Supernatural Academy. I'll have to check out her other series to see if she already has.
Loved the first two books, but this one felt rushed.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
4 stars for Pursued by Danica Rayne. This is the third and final book in the Beasts of Edgewood series. I enjoyed the ending of this book. A slayer and the beasts she is supposed to slay in love has that whole forbidden romance aspect and I loved it. “You want to break us. But humans have an unlimited capacity to love. And it’s love that will bring you down today.” I loved how everything and everyone came together.
I love the character dynamics in this series. I feel a real emotional connection to all of the 5 main characters and several of the secondhand characters. The story line flowed well, and the plot kept me intrigued. Looking forward to reading more of Danica Rayne's work.
This series isn’t what I expected but I did love it. Very mild and not much in the love action but plenty of regular action. Very easy to fall in love with the supernatural guys. Sheds some light on how hard it can be to be supernatural. First book I read with an actual wendigo as a hero.
Such a good ending. Everything wrapped up nicely and not necessarily easily either. It wasn't just "slapped" together. I would love to see them 5 years down the road too, see what is happening but I don't need to either. Very good story
What a great ending to a unique series! With a possible spin-off, I’m excited to see what could come next and if we get more of all these lovable characters.
