An Excellent Way to Begin.

As an Elemental Witch myself, I opened this book with great trepidation, because I was concerned that the author might be one of those who say something along the lines of “You can ONLY do it THIS way,” or “THIS is the RIGHT way to think about the Elements.” Since this is the third book of their series, I really should have known better!

Rowan Moss does a superb job of walking through the thought processes which help us to understand what the Elements are, and makes sure to leave plenty of room for interpretations which might be different than those she presents within the pages of the book. I adore the fact that each book asks “What does your family do?”

I have strongly recommended each of the books in the Pagan Children’s Learning Series and will happily continue to do so.

The glossary is helpful, as always, and there is also a fun craft project suggested at the end of the book.

This book is prefect, from the opening letter by the author and illustrator to the fun activity in the back. This book is simple yet wonderful. It's prefect to read to my younger children and to have my 2nd grader read on his own. The illustrations are a wonderful water color that is different from most children's books. Yet they are organic and wonderful and fit what is being shared.

What are the Elements is a great book and I love the glossary in the back to help your children learn even more! I can't wait for new books to this wonderful series!

I truly believe that every family should have these to help educate their children.

This book is fantastic while going into the varied opinions without doing to deep. I love how all these books give little crafts for the kids to do as well. The glossaries in the back just add to these books, giving parents the option to expand on the books.

This is book 3 in the Pagan Children Learning Series, and I'm so happy to be the publisher for it - and hopefully future books containing concepts for young readers, too. All the books in this series are beautifully and written in simple, understandable language that children of all ages will understand, especially with a companion reader. I love the helpful Glossary at the back of the book and the activity as well, and I hope that parents find this book (and series) to be a useful tool that sparks conversation about their family's faith.
