He hunted down the followers of Christ and threw them into prison m. But as he made his way to Damascus to arrest more, God stopped him. Soon he became one of Christ’s boldest apostles.
I like this series. Sometimes the stories don't flow as smoothly as they could, but the illustrations are bright and engaging, the stories simple, but meaningful. They don't shy away from the biblical violence in the stories (which can be unsettling to a young audience) but it's handled tastefully. All these books initiate good talking points about ancient heroes and modern day lessons.
Paul, one of the most famous followers of Christ who authored half of the New Testament, is the featured Christian in this book. With some incredible illustrations that assist with communicating the incredible events of his life, this children’s book tells the story of Saul of Tarsus who became Paul, one of the greatest missionaries the world has ever known, to the glory of God. If you want a way to show some younger readers the life of Paul, this is a good place to start.
