This is a good quick read but there were parts that seemed rushed to me and skipped over.

Emma is wandering through life after having lost yet another job she is back living with her parents when she is offered a job for the one man she has never been able to forget as a nanny to his young son Lex. Emma has a major crush on her neighbour Noah as a teenager but she thought that she was never good enough for him. Once she is living in his house all her old feelings for him come back and she adores Lex, can she ignore her feelings for Noah or could she really have found where she was meant to be all along?

Noah had a secret crush on Emma when they were in high school but she always made it clear that she was too good for him or so he thought but times have changed for him and he is now a very successful business man but he is a very different man than the man Emma knew after a failed relationship with his son’s mother he cannot trust women. But Emma is different he sees how she is with his son and how much they have bonded could she be the one that shows him how love should really be and could he really have a happy ever after or will he lose it before he can grasp it?

Would have liked a longer future epilogue but still a good read.

Noah & Emma are two former high school enemies pushed together in a boss/nanny situation. Their mutual attraction & chemistry are obvious and instant, but Noah is hesitant after being burned in the past.

This was a quick read, with a few plot holes. However, it was entertaining enough.

I couldn’t tell where this book was supposed to take place. One minute I think they’re in England and using British English and then the next I think they’re in the United States as it seems like American English.

Noah doesn’t think he needs a nanny but his mom insists and at twenty-six he still listens to his mother. And she brings over Emma, who Noah’s known since he was a child. And had a crush on her too but thought she looked down on him. Turns out, she had a crush too. And they have chemistry between them. But Noah’s ex-wife has decided now is the time to get back together and get more money, and does well to drive a wedge between Noah and Emma.

Noah and Emma get their happy ending in this stand-alone Novella.

On top of the confusing language usage, the characters were also very immature and didn’t act like he ran a successful business and is a father. It was more understandable for Emma as she was a bit younger and was still figuring it out. Though, did Emma have any training that would make her a good nanny or just liked kids?
