Because we are using the New Testament in the 2019 "Come Follow Me" curriculum for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I felt it was a good time to read it again from cover to cover. What a wonderful treat it was. I was reminded again of so many precious gems.

This is a book that changed my life as it helped me to know without a doubt that Jesus Christ did in reality live and die, and was a resurrected Being. Every time I read it I gain a greater love and appreciation for Him and what He has done for me. It also gives me an a greater appreciation for those early, true disciples and their faithfulness. God be thanked for the incomparable gift of His Son!

Finished the New Testament again. Loved it and got even more out of it this time. Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died, and was resurrected. I am thankful for this record of His life and His love and His teachings. I love my Savior and I’m thankful for His endless forgiveness, compassion, and patience as I strive daily to be more like Him.

We read the New Testament this year as a family and studied it in our Sunday school classes. I understood it so much better this year and developed a greater love for the original apostles and followers of Christ. I was motivated to improve my devotion and commitment to my savior.
