"Prayer is a dialogue between two persons who love each other." With this profound insight, Rosalind Rinker -- writer, missionary, and dedicated evangelical worker -- gives the key to a simple yet powerfully effective method of increasing the joy and meaning of your prayers. As nearly one million readers have discovered, Conversing With God is a fresh and inspiring guide, based on the eternal "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
Sorry I did not enjoy this book. She took a truth about prayer, having a conversation with our Almighty Father, and turned it into a formula or format or a list of how you need to do this. There were a few things that she taught by the misuse of Scripture. She later "clarified" a couple of things, but by her early writing would have had a new follower of our Savior already heading down a wrong path. Sorry I do not recommend this one. Maybe someone else was able to glean a few nuggets out of this one, but I found it boring and once again another methodical teaching.
Prayer is such an important part of our walk with Christ. It is us talking to the Lord. This book is short, simple and easy to comprehend. While there were a few things she stated I disagreed with, all in all it is a great resource. All believers should desire to be faihful prayer warriors.
