Political Corruption, violence, kidnapping, murder, revenge, Royal Bastards and the Bloody Aces MC gangs on the verge of war! What more can you ask for in this exciting action packed story by Linny Lawless.
And to have Rodney Falcon narrate this story? He a wonderful narrator, and a pleasure to listen to. I always look forward to any of his narrations. I was gifted this audio book and offered my honest review.

This book was all sorts of ah-may-zing! I love Linny’s mind and how it works. The characters were amazing the story was beautifully written and emotional. Action, adventure, intense, steamy and all around awesome. Love, love, love Rodney’s narration.

A thrilling, suspenseful, intriguing, and captivating journey to go on with Nolan and Gina. I absolutely loved their connection, they had a beautiful intensity between them. I enjoyed the first book, I just knew I would feel the same about Cobalt. Linny Lawless is a fantastic story teller, she captures your attention from the beginning, and holds you enthralled till the end. She never ceases to amaze me. Great story!

Gina was the sister of Dane. He had taken over the family business after their parents died. He was ruthless. Gina became a high paid escort to protect her brother. A father and son duo had raped her in hopes to start a war between the families. She never told her brother so the war never happened.
Gina’s best friend was kidnapped and she went to her brother for help. He called his best friend Nolan in who was a top boss in his family business as well. Nolan came to get Gina to protect her.

Loved this book!!! Cobalt (Capitol Corruption #2 by Linny Lawless will have your emotions all over the place as you follow Nolan and Gina's journey. This story had it all danger, violence, drama and so many steamy moments. Nolan is a dangerous, charismatic sexy owner of the MGM National Harbor Casino and one of the Kings who runs the corrupt side in the Washington, DC area. He is a long time friend with the other 2 Kings; Dane and Push. Gina is a beautiful young woman with a secret, she is also a high class escort. When her best friend goes missing, her brother Dane discovers she is in danger and asks his best friend Nolan to protect her. Now these two strong willed individuals will battle each other until the chemistry between these two becomes explosive. Can Nolan tame this vixen as he discovers he wants to make her his. Now in order for him to protect her she has to agree to marry him. Gina will soon discover that Nolan is just the man she has been looking for as these two begin a steamy relationship which is leading to an all consuming love for both of them. When she breaks down and tells Nolan what led her into the life as an escort, he is outraged and the only thing he wants is to kill the men that hurt her. Now Gina's past comes back to destroy her to get to her brother Dane. With the help from the Bloody Aces MC as well as Push and Dane they are racing against time to save the woman he loves and end the Caruso family, but in doing so will Nolan, Dane and Push have the syndicate coming towards them after they dismantle their whole empire? Nolan and Gina pull you in and don't let go till the end. This book has everything and than some to keep you reading till the end. Emotional, heartbreaking, intense, action packed full of twist and turns and somethings you may not expect. I had tears in my eyes by end and can't wait to read more from this author

Book two in the Capitol Corruption series, from the first couple of chapters I was hooked, Dane Neri asks Nolan Reynolds to protect his sister Gina after her best friend disappears and it looks like whoever took her could be after Gina too.
He takes her to his MGM casino suite to keep her safe, as the days turn to weeks he decides there is no better way to keep her safe than to marry her, then the attraction takes hold on both of them, it becomes more, and they find she's still in danger.
Action packed and with old friends helping, I just love it when a story involves previous characters, it makes the whole story more real. I loved this so much that I finished it in one day, only coming up for air and to eat ..... lol.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion.

I absolutely loved this book! Nolan is asked to protect Gina, by her brother Dane, after her best friend is taken and he's worried she may be next. He takes her to his casino for safekeeping. I loved the attraction and chemistry between Nolan and Gina. This book is action packed, intense, emotional, and I couldn't get enough! I highly recommend this book and I'm anxiously awaiting the next.

I loved this book from the beginning!! Nolan has been tasked by Dane, Gina‘s brother, to protect her when her best friend is reported missing. Once they get over themselves Nolan and Gina burn of the pages. Old friends band together to help each other out and rid themselves of problems. I can’t wait to see where this author takes the series next! I am so looking forward to Dane’s story, I hope his book is next!

This is the second book in the Capitol Corruption series and this is Nolan and Gina's story. This story grabs you from the start and won't let you go! This story was emotional, full of action and HOT!! I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it!!!

This book had me hooked. From the second I started reading to the very last page, I was hooked. Cobalt is book two in the Capitol Corruption series and is Nolan and Gina's book. I can't wait to read more of this series.

Linny Lawless writes such good books, I find myself getting lost in her worlds. Cobalt is book 2 of her Capitol Corruption series and it delivers. It's not long, but these characters take us into their world and let us escape. Gina is a high priced call girl, and Dane's sister. When she finds herself in some trouble, Dane reaches out to his friend in Washington DC. Nolan is powerful, running the MGM National Harbor Casino, and he will do anything for his friend. To protect this feisty woman, Nolan does what it takes to keep her safe. But will it be enough? Will she behave long enough to stay protected? This is a fun, fast paced adventure. Full of suspense, corruption danger and steam, it's complete entertainment! You don't want to miss any in this series!
Narrated by Rodney Falcon, each character is given their own personality and voice. He can pick up that gangster quality easily and gives Nolan that edgy sound. In turn, he keeps Gina with an attitude, but adds that bit of softness to her. Loved every minute of this one and look forward to more.

Cobalt by Linny Lawless is a mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Rodney Falcon. This is the second book in the Capitol Corruption series and can be read as a standalone.
I do want to put a Warning that the book does cover some dark topics within the Mafia world.
I absolutely love Linny’s books! She does an amazing job covering some dark topics but still making the book enjoyable to read. You can’t help but fall for Nolan and Gina. I can’t wait to dive into more of Linny’s books.
Rodney did a great job on the narration. He always knows how to bring a story to life.
I would highly recommend this book if you love mafia romances.

Fast paced and action packed. When Gina’s best friend, and fellow ‘high end call girl, is missing, she turns to her brother for help. Her brother, Dane, owner of a casino and several money laundering businesses in NJ. His best friend, owner of a casino in Washington, DC, Nolan promises to protect Gina from whomever is responsible for the missing woman. As mentioned, lots of action as well as super hot smexy times. Good read.

This brilliantly written story will captivate you right from the beginning. It has it all - Mafia, MC's, and is full of excitement, suspense, danger, twists and turns, and a beautiful steamy romance. Gina Nieri who is an escort is in great danger when her friend Rebecca goes missing. Gina's brother Dane sends her to one of his best friends Nolan Reynolds for safekeeping. At first, Gina and Nolan do not get along and then all hell breaks loose. Will Dane and Nolan be able to keep Gina safe and will they find Rebecca? I absolutely loved this amazing story. I would give it a 10 if I could.

Nolan was called in by Gina's brother to protect her when her best friend went missing. One look though and Nolan was done. Defiantly feel the chemistry of these two, but I want more. I need to know about the darkness in Gina and Nadia's eyes...they're t o strong to let the corruption stop their happiness. I also want to see the women's friendship grow. Can't wait to read more.

This awesome story packs a serious punch! Nolan takes on the task of taming Gina who gives him a run for his money. He is asked by his friend Dane to keep his sister safe. Nolan ends up marrying her and their journey begins. It is filled with twists and turns that keeps you glued to the pages!
