Holy dirty talking goodness. A strong, confident, bossy AF man that knows what he wants and goes after it whole heartily. Sometimes the best laid plans go off track and a whole new future can be found...or not? This book was addictive, well written with some the hottest banter I have ever read. My kindle was blushing at times..Emily Snow nailed the "asshole" that you love to hate and hate to love. The guy that says things that make you melt, but if they were said in "real life" you would nut punch a fool. Swooooon my favorite kind of hero. While under all the bravado lies a man...that falls for a girl and that trumps it all.

These two were the perfect combo of opposites attract, the ying to each other's yang and pissing off the bad guys at the same time. Elle's strength and ability to fight for what she believes in, was inspiring and connected me to her quickly. Not a shrinking violet even in the world of cut throat, she had a quiet bravado that I appreciated. A heartfelt story was found underneath it all. I love that twist. It is such a brilliant reminder of why I love reading, escaping into the pages of another world where words and feelings are real life breathing entities...Ms. Snow really nailed it with His Pawn. It will speak so many different romance reader's hearts. One click this one. You won't regret it.

Holy hell, that was HOT! I'm embarrassed to say that this is the first book I've read by Emily Snow, and I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Graham aka Senator Sexy Ass is a dirty talking son of a bitch with an agenda. He's domineering and ruthless and my God, I couldn't get enough. When he sets his sights on Eleanor, he goes balls to the wall.

But Eleanor is no pushover. Somehow she falls for him while managing to keep her backbone. She's no weak, pushover and I loved that about her.

I literally devoured Graham and Elle's story. The characters were well developed and the story moved fluidly. Not once did I find myself bored or wanting to skim. The sex was off the charts, hot. Like, I'm reading over my highlights and still fanning myself.

Now I feel like I need to take a break from writing so I can read all of Mrs. Em's backlist. Dayum woman!

I’m not sure I can write about His Pawn without blushing and needing to fan myself, because this romance is deliciously naughty and scorching hot. Graham is an alluring, wealthy, young senator who has a vendetta against Eleanor’s father. Eleanor is 11 years younger than Graham and about to finish college when he decides to seduce her as an act of revenge against her dad, and, wow, does he hypnotically and thoroughly seduce her.

Graham and Eleanor’s dynamic is charged by their intense chemistry and their efforts to control their quickly escalating feelings. While you might assume Graham has all the power in their relationship due to his age and experience, Eleanor is smart, strong and successfully challenges him at every turn. She holds her own, and their verbal skirmishes and continual push-and-pull are mesmerizing to watch. Although Graham begins their relationship with an unscrupulous agenda, he’s brought to his knees by love, and he’s one of the most enthralling and memorable antiheroes that I’ve ever read.

His Pawn is a thrilling and deeply sensual love story that pulls you in and doesn’t let you go.

Y'all, His Pawn was sooo freaking good. I could hardly get anything done while reading because all I wanted to do was get to the end. I was sooo sucked in and just had to find out what was going to happen next. lol

Elle found herself without her daddy's help. So she picked up a job waitressing. She was doing a great job, but she was tooo slow for the managers liking. But before she was fired, this is where she met Senator Graham Delaney. He finds out about Elle being down on her luck and decides to make an arrangement between the two of them and Elle decides to take him up on his proposition.

I gave His Pawn 5 iScream Cones!! The banter and the sexual tension in this book would make you squirm in your seat at times..lol I freaking loved it!!! Sooo make sure you pick up on release day and find out what this arrangement was all about and see if anything comes of this hawt and heavy duo after the arrangement has ended. : )

Ooooo I love a good scandalous novel and this does NOT disappoint!
Senator Graham is a tease and very dirty! He has this mystery about him that makes him intriguing.
Elle is the daughter of another Senator who has no idea she met her match with Graham.
The pages are filled with scandals and the characters are not to be trusted.
This is one of those novels you could read over and over again without getting sick of the drama!

Elle is so close to graduation from College but after a falling out with her parents they withdrew their financial support.
Graham is a hot sing Senator who knows what he wants but doesn't do commitment. But when he meets Elle he knows he wants her. Graham goes so far as to make her an offer for him to get what he wants and her to meet her goal.
But sometimes the best laid ideals become something some much more wonderful.
This was a hot read for sure.

I didn't realize there was a book out for Graham until I read Love Hurts and I just don't think I was prepared. Luckily, many years have passed and even though Graham isn't done dealing with things, he is moving on.

We do get some of that history of who he is moving on with so that was no surprise. What was a surprise was how much of a dirty talker Graham is...and I don't mean that in a good way.

Don't get me wrong, I love those dirty talkers but Graham has an agenda and he just pushes things too far. My heart hurt for Elle even though she did have a slight grasp on the situation.

I was also shocked at how badly Graham treated Vero...WTH? This is his best friend! In the This Love Trilogy, I never got the feeling that he was so mean and condescending to her as he was in this book.

There's a lot of drama with Elle's Dad and the prior going ons with Graham and that all comes out. I do have to say kudos to Elle's Mom. However, the other drama that Graham was responsible for was a bit cliché...I mean, come on, he would definitely have that password protected!

I did enjoy that Graham was persistent when all the drama was over....as he should have been. I definitely was left wanting more of the HEA but hopefully we will get some of them in Crazy in Love.

OH MY!!!!!! Checkmate!!!!

Emily Snow you might have changed my views on politicians. ; ) I love Snow's books they are sexy, fun, flirty and filled with angst. And she did not disappoint in this book. And holy crap did she turn up the heat in this one. Senator Delaney has no filter when it comes to Elle and what he wants. And he wants her in the worst way. And he's not going to stop until he has her.

I loved everything about this book. From the storyline to the characters created. Senator Delaney was a cocky, arrogant dirty talker and Elle was sassy, independent and didn't take crap from the Senator. Once I started I couldn't put it down. Definitely a must read!!!

Pretty sure its no lie that I love me an asshole in a book. Ms. Snow decided to take a male character, make him a dick and nail the hell out of it. Graham was everything that we love to hate and love to want. She writes a female that is sassy and a male that will let his every thought come out of his mouth, but yet, you are still left dying for more words and more time to get into every dirty thought that comes out of his Graham's mind.

When you read an authors book then decided immediately after finishing that you have to go read every other book she has ever written...I think that says it all. She draws you in her story and leaves you breathless for more of words. Its not about the story its about the setting up of a story that is about to be brillaint. Ms. Snow delivered a dirty talking man that will haunt my wet dreams for books to come. She delieverd a story that will have you flipping pages and dragging out the words hoping they do not end.

Be prepared to binge read this one!

This was the first story by Emily Snow for me and I have to say...I think I am addicted. Puhlease tell me this will be a series because those Delaney Brothers are AHMAZING!

Graham is, well...he's...kind of a jerk but I couldn't get enough! Like a good jerk? Is that possible?

There were many things here that pulled me in on this one...and I am not sure what to say without giving away the goods. The drama/danger factor kept my attention to the forefront...the attraction between Elle and Graham was consistently hot and I was never bored with this read.

Some of my favorite things about Elle and Graham?

Graham was hell bent on keeping Elle at arms length and with every word I got sucked in to the anticipation of him falling to his knees. Elle was FANTASTIC. She was probably my favorite character. She is a strong woman. Loyal, has a high moral code, smart, funny, pushes the lead male character...seriously everything that a strong female lead character should be all while having the feminine side that wants to be loved.

The deeper you get in to this story the more characters come in to play and they have a lot of story potential and I am praying to the book Gods that this happens. I love the darker stories and I think that Cain would be my favorite Delaney.

Reading time for me was a bit over 4.5 hours...all worth it!

Hands down 5 stars!

The moment I opened Emily's book and Senator Sexy Ass spoke the words "I need to meet Eleanor, my ace in the hole, the perfect pawn" I was hooked!!!! The drama, seedy politicians, and tension between Graham & Eleanor burned up the pages!!! I hope to see more of the Delaney's in the future.

If you want an engrossing novel that will linger in your mind, then you must read His Pawn......This is a 5 star one-clicker for sure!

Absolutely loved His Pawn and the title was perfect.
Eleanor Courtney (Elle) daughter to Senator Robert Courtney has upset her father so he has cut her off financially and refuses to pay her last semester of college. Needing money fast she lands a job as a waitress at 202 a sports bar where tips are great but gets fired a week later. Graham Delaney aka Senator Sexy Ass sees the perfect opportunity to get revenge against his biggest enemy Senator Courtney. He offers to pay Elle's tuition if she agrees to a sexual relationship with him. She already has this pull to him even if they've never even kissed yet. The chemistry is already starting between them. She just didn't realize that he was helping her under less than honorable reasons.
Graham is dominating dirty talking, naughty, sinful, bad boy that trys to throw Elle off by his crude talking but Elle gives him a run his money with her own quick banter. Just love the back and forth between the two of them. Their chemistry was off the charts HOT 🔥
Just when you think you know where the story is going here comes some twist and turns. Just who is the pawn and who is being played, who will be crying checkmate?

His Pawn is a dark, twisted romance filled with politics, secrets, betrayal and sex.  With a dirty talking senator that knows how to follow through this story is naughty and captivating and had me intrigued from the beginning.  I couldn’t put it down and was reaching for a cool drink after reading some of the very intense hot sex scenes that are throughout the story.  His Pawn by Emily Snow is a 5-star read and will leave you panting for more.
 
Graham Delaney is young, rich, gorgeous, smart and the senator of New York.  When he sees Eleanor Courtney, the daughter of another senator, applying for a job as a waitress in a sports bar, Graham comes up with the perfect plan.  Graham has every intention of taking the innocent pearl wearing college student and bending her to his will.  With every intention of breaking the young girl to get revenge on the Virginia senator that took everything away from him, Graham plans to use Elle as his pawn to lead to her father’s downfall.   In the end though who will end up as the true pawn Graham or Elle?

If you have not read an Emily Snow book before, His Pawn is a great one to start with. She is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of erotic romance for a reason!!!. Right from the start you are swept away with the a dirty talking Senator and your heart goes out to Eleanor. Put the Senator and Eleanor in a room together and what do you get? Insane chemistry, wild encounters and some healing of the soul.

Opposites attract..without a doubt...meeting your match...yes...taking things to the next level...yes!!! This is one of those books that has the Alpha of all Alphas, play by his rules, I want what I want and how I want it.

Everyone thinks Eleanor has it all, the perfect life of a Senator's daughter. But with only one more semester of school to go, she is cut off. Eleanor is determined to make it on her own. She's known for making mistakes but when the devil makes her offer she can't refuse, she can't say no even knowing it could easily be the biggest mistake she will ever make.

Graham is the Senator that every woman wants and has a kinky side that wants to come out and play. When he lays eyes on Eleanor, all is fair in the game of well not love that's for sure. Making her his pawn has become his obsession.

One thing I loved about this book is that even though Graham is a Senator there really is no political issues that are discussed/debated.

The story moves so smoothly and just grabs your attention till the end. An aspect that bothers me is that there is a lot of mention of Graham's "kink", but not a lot of the actual kink. Don't get me wrong its there, but I was expecting a lot more during those particular scenes. That is my personal opinion and I still thought this story was so well done and worthy of 5 stars.

Oh my goodness WOWSER!!
I could not get enough of this sexy, twisted book.
Emily Snow has come up trumps with this one it is purely mesmerising.
Graham is a character we all love to hate cocky and self absorbed hell bent on revenge, deciding to use his enemies daughter Eleanor has the pawn in his twisted game. But he meets his match with her she is sassy and captivating and is no shrinking violet. The banter between them is incredible loved it. And so when feelings start to get involved will Graham feel guilty and regret what he started.?
With so much steam, drama, angst and emotion Graham and Eleanor are a perfect match even though they appear opposites they seem to click in all the right ways. The chemistry between them was electrifying. This story had me wrapped around its little finger I was so enthralled all the way through right until the end. It is an enjoyable, entertaining, glorious read that I highly recommend give it a whirl you will not be disappointed.

OMG....this has to be one of the hottest books I have read in a long time. Graham is cocky, charming an loves to boost about himself
He would give Mr Grey a run for his money thats for damn sure, he sooo bloody bossy but oh so delicious and give me hot flushes. Elle is a sweet, sassy girl with a attitude to match, but cross her then hour in deep trouble. 

 This a good book that has you on the edge of your seat, its funny and very steamy with a few secrets. It will leave your heart racing  and wanting more. Highly recommended I didn't want this one to end and really hope that its not the last from these characters by this author.

Elle knows how to entertain her man, "...I’m twenty-two,” I say. “For what it’s worth, your thirty-three-year-old *** could learn a thing or two from my eclectic musical tastes.” His lips do that sexy, smirking thing..." From the beginning I knew Elle and Graham were perfect for each other, they called each other out on their crap, “oh, I heard you. My balls are still thawing from all the ice you dripped all over them.” There are times Graham is just so out of his element with his woman, “what the eff is a Glee?” Freaking Graham, I just loved him, “yes, I bathe in it every morning right after I p*** excellence. Now, Elle, the time?” Graham just doesn't understand his woman, “because there’s a ***k-shaped object in your mouth and I’m compelled to get excited about that. And you’re whining about not seeing a effing ball drop.” I loved this book, I freaking adored Graham.

Omg!!! It’s a political story full of revenge and oh so smexy good!! She is The daughter of the next POTUS. He is a sexy young senator who has a bad bad plan!! From the first page you are all in!! You won’t be able to put Senator Graham Delaney out of your thoughts!! He is planning on playing a game and Elle is his Pawn. He is an asshole of the best alpha kind!! He has a dirty mouth and a dirtier mind!! Absolutely fabulous!! He has plans to ruin Elle in the worst way to get back at the future POTUS. This book makes you feel that sick little twist in your stomach because you know it’s going to break your heart from the start. So get in buckle your seatbelt because you’re in for a wicked ride. “Sexy, filterless Senator meets his angel”

I received an Advance Reader Copy for HIS PAWN written by Emily Snow and voluntarily reviewed this book. If uber-sexy & dirty-talking politicians are your thing, meet Senator Graham Delaney. When Graham meets Elle Courtney interviewing for a waitress position at a local dive-y sports bar one night, he immediately realizes two things: 1) he recognizes her as the daughter of a fellow Senator of the same party, and 2) he has a golden opportunity right in front of his nose.

Elle is stuck making ends meet for her college tuition payment, and she was going to do it all on her own. Pride will not allow her to so any other way, because after all, her dad has cut her off financially, anyway. But she keeps forging her own path, because she knows right from wrong, and she is just standing up for what she believes is right. Meeting Senator Delaney in the flesh, however, makes her think things over about dating again, especially after what happened with her last boyfriend. But like all Senators, they did not get where they are without the gift of the gab and VERY persuasive techniques…

This is an engaging and well-written romance with a bit of drama and real-life-sounding situations - perfect fodder for the news media, if they just had the nose to dig deep enough into all these politicians’ secrets!
