Good introduction for newbies

I really enjoyed the starting bit where the author told us his story and how he got into investing and crypto.

Halfway through the book I begin seeing many jargons and multiple numbers. At that moment I began to skim read. I'm not a finance person so while I enjoyed the first half, I can't say the same for the last half.

I appreciate the bolded points which were essentially summarised versions of the parts I skimmed through. They were less wordy and much clearer to understand for someone like me who isn't very much into financial jargon.

I liked the book half way soooooo half of 5 stars. ^_^

I like that this book is short enough for me to read in 2 days. The author did a good job explaining crypto currency and the blockchain technology without spewing a bunch of jargons or fancy buzzwords. After reading, I understand what they are, why people are willing to invest in them, and how to invest safely. The author seems to have a good record in investing and doesn't try to mislead the readers about the risk of crypto currency.

The reason I give it only 4 stars is because the book was written in 2018. Some details have become obsolete but were not updated in the paperback version published in 2022.

If you are new to cryptocurrency and really want to have a broad idea what it is, I highly recommend this book.

Excellent book for beginners.
If you’re unsure about cryptocurrency, then this book can help you understand how and why they are important.

I am going to buy this book for all my family, so that they can understand what I’m doing a little better and realise the importance of getting into the market.

It’s a bit of an old book now in this space, but although many of the things have changed a bit, the main points are still very relevant.

Wow!!!! really interesting and eye opening to the possibility of how this crypto currency can evolve our futures? What i would do to spend 15 minutes in the brain of Siam Kidd. Great read well done.

If you are interested in learning about crypto currency then this book is amazing.
Fantastic insight into the possibility of what the future holds and how to make money from it.

That 2 star is for really getting into basics of crypto and explaining in the best possible way. However it loses on 2 more as this is so much of a marketing gimmick to sell his courses and social media community.
We pay for books to get knowledge and not to be stuffed down our brains with advertisements!! Pathetic strategy.

The only crypto book in the library and a decent introduction. Big on safety, sense, mistakes, goals, safety, safety. Useful but not the crypto bible for me like it's hoping for.

The book provides a wealth of knowledge about the fundamentals and beginnings of blockchain and crypto, as well as some strategies for leveraging their potential. It's a great book for beginners, but it's a bit outdated, especially since it covers a subject that's constantly evolving. If a new edition comes out, I definitely recommend getting it.

A good starter book to explore the depths of Cryptocurrency and it’s markets. The only issue with this book is that, due to markets, this book is more of a pre-descriptor rather than an up to date Cryptocurrency analysis book.

That is not Siam’s fault though, however, and I actually thoroughly enjoyed reading about some deeper stuff within Blockchain that isn’t just available on Google.
