Another quick read to get me off to a good start. Pretty accurate for me. Prompted me to go off and do a full birth chart. I am on a real self development journey this year and this was a decent place to start on the enquiry part of that journey

Really cute coffee table book or decorative book. Most of the content I have already read or it’s pretty basic like astrology 101. So if you have already read about your sun sign and the basics in astrology I don’t recommend it.

but i’m glad i got it, it’s a memory. i bought it at a cute lil independent bookshop in boston with a friend. plus the cover is pretty 💙

c’est honteux, dans le chapitre « Le foyer du Verseau » ils ont tout whippin….
- modernisme
- minimalisme
- matériaux contemporain
- pas attiré par les intérieurs chaleureux
- mobilier assorti de nuances de bleues
- il est peu probable d’y trouver des antiquités

…. mon literale cauchemar et l’opposé de ce que j’aime dans un intérieur fin je suis offusquée. en + je déteste le bleu j’aime pas cette couleur.

A cute book, to gift and to have fun with, but I would disencourage buying it for guidance and serious studying of the signs. I personally found some serious omissions when mentioning certain aspects of the zodiac. Since I have studied astrology myself, I believe that relying too much on this kind of books has set the bar very low and lead to disdain astrology as a science. Buy the book if you please, but should you want a more serious approach, find an astrologer.
The pictures are genuinely awesome, making it a wonderful gift.

While containing some interesting insights, I largely found the writing to be quite woolly and vague beyond the first section of the book. It began to feel like any statements about Aquarius were undermined by mentions of the various sign types as if to make excuses for anything you may find inaccurate. For example, if you were born close to the cut off for another sign, or if your opposite or Descendant sign are a certain way, then nothing expressed prior may be true for you and you may be an exception - which feels like a bit of a cop out, I'm sorry!

For me personally, Andromeda's analysis of Aquarius qualities was almost completely inaccurate. I found myself laughing at the descriptions which supposedly should match my character and personality but in reality were describing my complete opposite. This was never more apparent than in the descriptions of the Aquarian home, which is described as being impersonal and without value on material possessions (my flat is extremely homely and full of things I collect and treasure, not least my books!) and in the description of food for Aquarians, the "top foods" page of which proceeded to list exclusively foods I find disgusting - like tomatoes 🙈

I gave the book a try despite my scepticism about Astrology and my lack of interest in it generally, but unfortunately the complete disconnect between myself and what was meant to be me in the pages has caused me to view it more as a fantasy than a genuine method for interpreting and directing my life.

Hopefully those more engaged with Astrology will enjoy it more. Kudos to the illustrator for their fantastic visuals, by the way!

i bought it because i wanted to learn more about my sun sign. it's a cute little book and i learned more about what the planets and house mean in astrology. it's not the magnum opus of astrology books but i can see myself coming back to it for quick reference in the future

I loved this book! The illustrations were so beautiful and the information was spot on. It was super educational and really broke down certain terms. It is a great book for someone new to astrology. It was also a super quick read and very enjoyable.
