The Hollydale Omegas #1-5.5

Super Spiced Omega Bundle

Rate this book
Welcome to Hollydale, a magical town where things aren’t always as they appear.

The Hollydale Omegas is a sweet, feel good series about finding love in a small town… with a little supernatural help. This is a non-shifter, contemporary mpreg series. Settle in with a good snack before you dive into this intriguing mix of fun, friendship and family. From elves and ghosts, to cupid and leprechauns—this series will steal your heart.

This bundle contains the first five books from this best-selling series. Also included is what I consider “book five and a half”, Strawberry Spiced Omega. This bonus short is 8k and features a couple that appear peripherally in other books.

Books Included:

Pumpkin Spiced Omega — Rafe is an alpha who writes the romance novels that omega Milo loves to read. A major misunderstanding disrupts their smooth beginning, and only the ghostly help of a beloved nana can bring these stubborn men back together.

Cinnamon Spiced Omega — Christian is an alpha who can’t help but be drawn to the homeless, pregnant omega he literally bumps into in the alley behind his shop. Liam is fighting to survive and afraid to trust another alpha. A little angelic help from the stogie smoking, crusty old man who keeps poking into their lives nudges these two together.

Peppermint Spiced Omega — Omega, please. “Ginger boy” Tom is a flamboyant omega who prefers to speak in the third person… partially because Tom loves drama, but also because Tom has suffered major pain in the past that he prefers not to think about, thank you very much. When he meets Colin, aka his hot alpha daddy, Tom is smitten. A surprise from the past helps heal Tom’s heart, with a little help from a kooky elf named Tofer, a little ginger-haired girl who will steal your heart, and an alpha who is Tom’s perfect match.

Champagne Spiced Omega — Cecil is not your average omega, and he definitely does not have any plans to ever have one of those sticky fingered, screaming little womb rats of his own. Playboy alpha Ian goes home with him for a night, then sticks around to help when Cecil suddenly finds himself the guardian of a newborn infant. Two guys who never thought past a one-night stand discover that falling in love is the ultimate adventure.

Chocolate Spiced Omega — Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. Kent is happy to see the omega again who slipped out after their one steamy night together… until the little recipe thief starts stealing business away from the candy shop he works for and pulling them across the street to his snooty French bakery. Pierre is a single dad with zero desire for an alpha. Lovers to enemies to… making a family? This book will leave you smiling and cheering for this stubborn couple who need more than little help from Amor, a chubby hippie who may not be quite as simple as he seems.

Bonus Short:

Strawberry Spiced Omega — Dr. Hank and Ezra are like ships passing in the night. They could be great together, but the timing just isn’t right. A surprise pregnancy and a little help from Amor is the only thing that can save this pair who might just find they’re each other’s perfect match.

These books are all intended for 18+ readers only. They contain adults adulting in naughty, knotty ways and occasional potty mouth language that might make a sailor blush.

I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!

I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.

As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.

I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.

I look forward to interacting with everyone here!

I needed some sugar in my life and I got a bucketload in this bundle of six stories. All sweet, with lovely, fun characters, including broken and broken-hearted omegas who find their alphas. Alphas range from hot daddy doctor to quiet, sweet confectioner.

This is not for those who can't stand finding grammar and spelling errors, nor is it for those who can't stand mpreg or those who can't suspend disbelief. However, it is just the thing for a cloudy day (inside and out) with a touch of angst and a whole lot of love to leave one with a major case of the warm and fuzzy feels.

Moving on to the next books soon.

Super Spiced Omegas Bundle

Last Fall I got the chance to listen to one of the audiobooks from Susi's Hollydale Omega Series. It wasn't the first or even the fifth book in the series, but it was a Susi Hawke and if she said it could be read as a stand-alone, I totally believed her. It was a lovely story and yes, it was a sweet little novella that could be read as a stand-alone, but I found myself curious to know these couples from Hollydale. I was curious about their love stories and why Tom spoke in third-person, or why every shop in town seemed to be an innuendo. **giggle… I wanted to know the meaning behind the haunting "not hauntings," and why everyone was okay with the “helpers" in the town rather than afraid of them.

“Pumpkin Spiced Omega”
I was able to discover the answers to so many questions, just in the first four books. The first sets up the stage with two childhood friends who have seen each other through quite a bit over the years. One of the hardest being the loss of Milo's generational family home.

My best friend is a firm believer in everything happening for a reason, even when those things include red croquet balls, and breaking and entering.💕

“Cinnamon Spiced Omega"
Oh, this sweet story left my heart all happy and smiley. It was one of the found families and how our mother loves us enough to bring us together, even when we think we are only good enough for dumpster alley. My second favorite book in the series, because, well… I am team Tom, and his story hasn't happened yet.

No, this is my second favorite because it is about a young Omega who had to flee his Alpha who was abusing him physically and emotionally. Thank Gaia, he had the fortitude to run. So many people stay in abusive relationships out of fear of the unknown, or out of fear of being caught and hurt more once they are.

This young man, however, has to think not only of himself but also the little one he is carrying. So, run he does...states away, to the small town of Holleydale where he meets a sweet alpha who helps him by getting him off the street, introducing him to people who help him get a job, and he offers him a room so he and his unborn baby don't have to keep sleeping in dumpster alley.

This one touched me so deeply because it made me think of my parents. My dad and mom met after my bio father left my mom when I was four and my sister was barely a year old. My mom had nothing other than a HS diploma, no work history, and no money. So, she went to Georgia where my granny had moved to. After being there a short while she was invited to a fourth of July cookout by a guy, but when she told him she would need to bring her kids he was reluctant, but said, sure. The night of that cookout, my mom met my dad who simply walked over to her asked if WE would like to dance, and proceeded to takes me in his arms while my mom held my baby sister and the four of us danced to “Benny and the Jets.” Later that night after more dancing, a few adult drinks, and other adult things I wasn't privy to til years later, my dad told my mom, “he was a poor country boy, who loved a cold beer after work, and he would love her and her babies like they were his for the rest of his life if she would take a chance on him.”

They got married the next month, and are still married to this day. That is why this story is so absolutely wonderful to me. I know this is not typically done in a review, but I was feeling nostalgic...and it's my review. *😋

The alpha in this story reminded me so much of my dad. His excitement and patience with the pregnancy and everything it entailed. Christian showed he would not only be a great mate for Liam, but he would be an amazing dad for Liam's baby...their baby. 💗👶💗

Peppermint Spiced Omega

There is nothing better than a Tom Collins...just ask him. Tom is notorious for speaking in the third person, but don't let it fool you into thinking he's egotistical. Behind all of Tom's bravado is a beautifully broken and scarred omega.

Tom puts on a brave face and he has such a sweet soul that he hides because of his past. Of all the characters in this collection, Tom is my favorite. He's like Shrek...he's an onion with many layers. 😂Only a few see all of them. Those who are blessed enough to get through see the wonder that is the REAL Tom hidden inside.

This held quite a bit of emotion and comedy. Susi is a marvel at always finding the balance so the reader isn't left too gutted at the end.

*************

Champagne Spiced Omega

Who doesn't love a wedding? Lemme rephrase...who doesn't love hooking up with strangers you never have to worry about seeing again, at a wedding? Yeah, that's a better smile! 😁

Cecil is the owner of the thrift and consignment shop in town, and if I lived in Hollydale, he'd be my favorite business owner. I am a sucker for thrifting! He and one of Tom's exes, Ian, meet over a glass of champagne at Tom and Colin's wedding reception. The two wax poetic about the pitfalls of babies and the nightmarish entanglement of saying those two words… “I Do!”

Of course, we all know how that's going to end for the fellas, so I won't go on about that. What I do want to mention that is important, and honestly, Susi Hawke does this often in her books (I bet her mothering skills are just as amazing), she will take a topic that is hard to discuss and gently wrap it up so you aren't afraid to open it, dissect it, she'd tears over it, and be moved by it.

**Warning & Spoiler
This novie addresses such brutal abuse on someone pregnant the victim doesn't survive. Mercifully, the baby does. For anyone who has ever experienced assault, long term abuse, rape, and other horrible traumas, reading about them in romance books can be triggering. Susi writes these events and the after-effects in such a way that they are seen as more hopeful than harmful. As a survivor of such events, I appreciate this, though there is also a side of me who also finds the darker side cathartic from time to time. The psyche is an odd thing…

Champagne Spiced with it's darker theme still showed the sweet rom-comish feel you love in a Susi Hawke read.

**********************

Chocolate Spiced Omega

Ahhh… young Kent has come a long way from the clumsy teen who didn't know his head from a hole in the ground in book one. He was given half a chance and moved from front of house to kitchen and went from cashier to Baker and found his calling as a candy man.

Years later and all grown up he has just returned from a Chocolatiers convention in Vegas and a new bakery has opened right across the street. The owner, his one night stand from Vegas. Ehhh... Weren't things like that supposed to stay in Vegas? That's like a universal law.

Now Kent's universe is turned upside down, strange guys who look like they time hopped from the '60s and Woodstock are hanging around, solid gold arrows keep turning up in odd places, and Kent has never both hated and longed for a man as much as he does the baker, Pierre in his life.

This one is a fun wild food fighting sticky mess, of a story. Settle in as more pieces of Hollydale slide into place, and the found family grows bigger. Oh...Beware of flying solid gold arrows!

💗💗Perfect for VD day💗💗 😂😂😂😂😂😂

***Bonus Short Story***

Strawberry Spiced Omega

This was a very short and sweet tale of two friends with benefits who had been together for a while. One moves away, but not before leaving behind a small gift he isn't aware of. As time passes the two men realize just how much they miss each other.

With the help of a special friend from Chocolate Spiced, the two are made to talk. I will let you read and discover what happens from there.

This was a truly sweet short added to the Hollydale Universe.

I loved this whole series bundle. It is filled with friends, family, tragedy, truth, some paranormal, some silliness, and all the love you come to expect from a Susi Hawke book.

Drew Bacca was precious as he gave spirit to the characters. When he sang, in Chocolate Spiced, I may have fallen in love, a smidge.😍

Beautifully narrated by Drew Bacca, the 'Super Spiced Omega Bundle: Books 1 - 5' written by Susi Hawke is a delightfully addictive listen! I tried (oh, how I tried!) to limit myself to one story per day, but it just didn't work out. I wanted the next one, and the next, and the next! Though each story confronts some dark and dangerous issues, the visit to Hollydale is wonderfully refreshing with characters that are lovable and with pairings that are interesting. There was not one boring moment or lag in ANY of the stories! The writer is astonishing! I'm not partial to omegaverse usually, but she has me hanging on her every word!
'Pumpkin Spiced Omega, Book 1'--Milo wants to save his candy shop, Sweet Ballz, as some lying woman claims the recipe originally developed by his grandmother was her own idea. He must find granny's book in a home he no longer owns--one that has been purchased by Rafe, the writer of his favorite novels!
'Cinnamon Spiced Omega, Book2'--Christian, the owner/operator of Hollydale's garage, literally runs into a most delicious-smelling, handsome, and very pregnant omega. But it's obvious he has been physically abused and currently homeless! Liam escaped his abusive alpha and goes on to find help and love.
'Peppermint Spiced Omega, Book 3'--Recommending this wonderful listen as 'Something For the Weekend' During the past week, this was one of several audiobooks I enjoyed! Tom is done with one-night stands and friends with benefits. He wants a special alpha all his own. But Dr. Colins Samuels is married to his career as an emergency medicine physician and refuses to pair with anyone. The need to help a sick little girl brings them both together!
'Champagne Spiced Omega, Book 4'--During the past week, this was one of several audiobooks I enjoyed! Ian misses out on Tom but there are other omegas out there--those that enjoy a good time with no strings attached. Such is the case with Cecil, owner of Hollydale's thrift store/ consignment shop until he gains custody of a newborn baby and Ian hangs around to help out.
'Chocolate Spiced Omega, Book 5'--Single father Pierre Duchamp returns to Hollydale and opens Salty Stix, right across the street from Sweet Ballz. Milo and Tom don't seem to mind. But as the candy maker, Kent doesn't appreciate his recipes being converted into French pastries by that thieving omega baker!
'Strawberry Spiced Omega, Book 5.5'--Henry and Ezra were just getting started when Ezra was offered a job in another state. The relationship is too new for Henry to follow. And Ezra? Well, he has reason to move right back to Hollydale after all.
As usual, the world-building is incredible! Man! Susi Hawke pens with enough details that you can see the town in your mind's eye. I'm so delighted there are seven more Spice Omega stories to experience and enjoy!

Super Spiced Omega Bundle includes the first five books in the Hollydale Omegas series, and a short bonus story. These are written by Susi Hawke and narration done by Drew Bacca. These stories are contemporary mpreg stories with a magical, paranormal twist. They are fun, sweet and sexy.

☆☆☆☆☆Pumpkin Spiced Omega:
Pumpkin Spiced Omega by Susi Hawke is the first book in The Hollydale Omegas series. It is a quick but absolutely amusing and perfect read, filled with hilarious dialogue, sweet moments, adults having steamy sexy times, ghostly visitors Sweet Ballz, and a lot of entertaining fun. Milo and Rafe are great characters and I love them together. A great start to a great series.

☆☆☆☆☆Cinnamon Spiced Omega:
Cinnamon Spiced Omega is the second book in The Hollydale Omegas series by Susi Hawke.
Warning... you are about to get addicted to a fun, sweet and sexy series if you aren't already. HOLLYdale is filled with a colorful collection of characters, special "helpers" that pop up when you need help finding your happily ever after, sassy and wonderful omegas, and sexy and alphas... oh and adorable babies! Christian and Liam will etch their place in your heart and you will fall in love with them and their town just as they fall in love with each other.

☆☆☆☆☆Peppermint Spiced Omega:
This is one of my favorite books in the series Tom and Colin are perfect and the story hooked me right away. I loved all the characters and their interactions with one another.

☆☆☆☆☆Champagne Spiced Omega:
Ian and Cecil are great characters and I love how they fall into being a family even though neither thought that was in their future

☆☆☆☆☆Chocolate Spiced Omega:
Kent and Pierre meet and have an one night stand in Vegas - no names, no mention of where you live. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?!
Not always! They both are now living in the same town and are business rivals.... oh and that one night stand left a small souvenir - surprise!

☆☆☆☆☆Strawberry Spiced Omega:
Dr. Hank and Ezra needed the right timing and a little special help that only Hollydale can give to find their Happily Ever After. Fun, sweet, funny and perfect!.

I wanted to read these books like forever, but I just haven't find any time for it, mostly because when it comes to series this long, I couldn't find the strength to start it because then I'll never finish it. But in this case the audio version was the perfect match for me, so I was really happy when got the chance to listen to it.

The narrator was really good, I liked all of his voices, each character and each story was different, somehow he made it perfect. And I love those cute omega voices, you really can tell the difference between an alpha and an omega.

The stories were good, but I loved the first three the best - then it get boring and just too fast and too insta.
I don't get myself, because I don't like instalove so much, but when it comes the omegaverse, I just LOVE it. So in this case I loved the instastories, really.

Each one of book was good, the characters were fun, cute and I loved listen to their own happily ever after. The pregnancies were really good, and the heat scenes were HOT too. I love some good knotting ;)

So I liked this bundle, but as I said, the first three was the best. I recommend it if you like cute mpreg stories.

This is a fun, sappy, non-angsty series of Mpreg stories that encompasses a small town and its patrons. Each story featured a different couple, in different stages of life and family needs.

Each story was surprisingly unique, but all featured a build up of characters from Book 1 through Book 5. The stories were full of magic and mystery, with a combined theme of lasting love. Most couples fell in the insta-love category, so if that's your trope, you will really enjoy this series.

Drew Bacca made each character's voice unique to their situation and provided humor and drama. His voice just has a natural omega-like quality that really lends to the characters.

Overall, this was very sweet and fun to listen to.

This is my review of the audio version of this bundle:

This series was even better than I expected! I loved all the alphas and omegas, their kids, and the intertwined stories. There were tender, sweet moments, but there were also so many times when I laughed out loud. I very much enjoyed the supernatural element added to each story, though my favorite was probably the ghost of Milo's grandmother.
The narrator was the perfect choice for these books. He was terrific, making each character distinct and easily recognizable. I especially loved his singing in Chocolate Spiced Omega.
I'm so happy I finally dove into this series, which will likely be a re-listen for me in the future. Loved these characters and romances. Highly recommended!

~AUDIO REVIEW~

An Enjoyable Sweet Collection

These were all really sweet, cute and fun stories. I especially liked Peppermint Spiced Omega and Champagne Spiced Omega. They each had a few emotional moments that really tugged at my heart.

Each story has its happy moments along with sad, snarky and romantic times. Though they could be listened to as standalones, I think it’s better if listened to in order, as there are reoccurring characters from each book.

Drew Bacca did a great job. I liked how he changed the voices for each character giving them their own personalities.

The first Super Spiced Omega Bundle contains books 1 through 5.5, and makes a delightful read full of fluff, instalove, and romance. There is a supernatural element to each story which helps guide the characters to love and happiness. I love the different tropes each book features and just plain enjoyed the fluff and silliness of each story.
