I've been a fan of Tom Wells ever since his first play, Me, As a Penguin, and though I admire the intent behind this, it's a rather slight proposition. Basically, a short one act, one man 'musical', it is the story of an awkward gay lad who gets talked into performing with his best gal pal as part of a synchronized swim team. Hard to tell what it would actually be like in performance without the songs, but from this excerpt on YouTube, it doesn't appear they'll be 'Top of the Pops' anytime soon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofAOq....
