Работал над такими проектами, как «Харви Бикс» и «Гадкие американцы». • Галерея авторских обложек в конце каждого выпуска. Какими они предстанут перед нами на следующей странице?
Nobody gets themselves in crazier shenanigans more than Mordecai and Rigby. Hmmmm hmmm hmmmmm! This one stays truer to the show better than the first volume. Even though they are ridiculous, you have to enjoy them.
Love being back in the world of the park and all the characters, but the plot of this one wasn’t my favorite. I prefer more of life at the park and this just didn’t do it for me. Won’t stop me from picking up the next volume to see what adventure comes next!
Issue 6. This should've been the Hydration issue: A beach day with crabs and cute clothes. Thomas, Pops, and Fives dealing with graffiti. The Park Most Foul bonus has nice chalky stylings.
7. Mordo wants to take kawaii pix for Margaret so Rig rightly makes fun of him. His dread face is hilarious. The art style gets very dramatic but funnily evil-looking. Why is there another issue at this one's cliffhanger? Lame if a joke. Especially with such a big tone change to be about picking a movie. And that ALSO ends on a cliffhanger? Weird ordering.
8. Fantastic covers. Pt 2 of the last issue. The guys go in the internet's mainframe or w.e. 70s coloring, cool layout, but their medieval garb is not for me. Pt 2 of the movie short is so stupid, what a nonsequiter with generic dog characters.
9. Garage sale. Funny crazy faces and can imagine just how Adventure-Timey Mordecai said Rigby has been 'generally unpleasant." It is really messed up a job would make you sell your own stuff for their profit though. First time I've seen the show establish it's set at least after 2005 since they have a box of "old" stuff labeled 90s. Surprised they mention the brand name of Pogs. In the mini story after this, Rigby looks kinda like Garfield. The abrupt start and end are jarring.
10. Back to the garage sale. We shoulda had a better recap/ease-in; I thought this was just an unrelated issue for a bit. I like evil Rigby. Love the Tamagotchi reference and creep factor later. What, it ended so early? There'll be a part three. There's another mini piece that's surprisingly violent and seemingly referencing Fear & Loathing. Art style is so busy and smudgy, it's hard to tell what's ever going on. What a weird ugly end.
Things get even crazier as the guys deal with nerd jokes, nineties references and bad selfies. While still not as fresh and ridiculous as the show, the characters fell true to their television counter parts. Still a fun read for any fan of the show.
