Sink your teeth into this new vampire series from Golden Leaf Finalist Deborah Garland.
NEVER FORCE A VAMPIRE TO MATE
Dr. Alexander Manning has drawn too much blood from his beautiful patient. Overwhelmed with thirst for her, he drinks it immediately. But when she catches him and passes out, he must report what happened to his allegiant’s Commander. Or…he can deal with her himself. When he breaks into her house and enters her bedroom to wipe the incident from her mind, he reads her thoughts first. She wants him as much as he wants her.
Elizabeth Lockspier discovers the man she’s so drawn to is a vampire and fears for her safety and the well-being of her daughter. When Alexander tracks her down and assures her she’s in no danger and then kisses her, making her feel like the world has slid off its axis, she has to make a choice. Turn him away. Play it safe. Deny how she feels. Or…take a risk where the reward is night after night of blinding ecstasy.
But Alex’s past catches up to him when the new Philadelphia Commander chooses Alex to be her mate. He must decide...go obediently into the arms of the woman who blackmailed him into years of sex. Or...fight back. With some magical powers he’s been keeping a secret or with a little science experiment a colleague is cooking up in a private research facility.
DRAWING BLOODLINES (The Princeton Allegiant #1) by Deborah Garland is the first book in a new paranormal vampire romance series. The vampires are a bit different from the norm and this leads to new world-building opportunities for this author.
Dr. Alexander Manning is a doctor, a professor and a vampire. He is a valued member of the Princeton Allegiant due to his ability to supply blood to the group. Alex was turned over one hundred years ago and is still learning how to use the “special” gifts he received from his sire, Loren. No one knows about his extraordinary talents and he prefers to keep it that way.
Elizabeth Lockspier is a teacher and is adjusting to her life as a divorced mother of one. While having her blood drawn at a doctor’s visit by one of the most beautiful men she has ever seen, she becomes lightheaded as he takes too much and faints when she finds him drinking from one of the vials.
Alex could not help himself. He finds Elizabeth’s scent and blood intoxicating. The problem is that no human can know of a vampire’s existence and if they do they must be reported to the head of the Allegiant. Alex breaks into Elizabeth’s house to wipe her memory rather than report her, but finds she is as drawn to him as he is to her even though he is a vampire.
As Alex and Elizabeth grow closer, Alex’s past threatens to pull them apart forever. He must decide to obediently go into a forced marriage with a vampire he hates or attempt to change his immortal future with a secret science experiment of a colleague.
I was drawn into this new paranormal vampire world with all of the twists in the world-building and action. This is a complete story, but the author introduces enough secondary characters and questions to carry the series forward. The sex scenes are explicit, but not gratuitous. (Personally, I would not be interested in those cold interactions.) If you are looking for a new twist on vampire paranormal romance this is the book and series for you.

Drawing Bloodlines is the first book in The Princeton Allegiant, and we meet with Alexander, a young vampire of only five hundred years old or so. He is the doctor who draws the blood from our main female, Elizabeth, which is okay until she catches him drinking it.
The attraction between Alexander and Elizabeth is off the charts from the start, but I actually wished it wasn't for part of the book! Now, don't get me wrong, steam isn't a bad thing at all, but for me, it actually took away from some of the parts of the story. It all became about how often these two made the naughty, rather than anything else like, for example, maybe Alex could have told Elizabeth more of his history... say the part with Christiana in it?! I actually preferred this book once Alex was told he had to mate with Christiana, and Loren appeared on the scene. I felt there was more of a connection then, but maybe that's just me.
On the whole, this was a very good read, with plenty to get your teeth into (bad pun intended). I would love to read more about this world of Allegiants and see how it works in greater detail. And, of course, find out more about the missing vampires. Oh, and hope Elijah gets his story!
There were no editing or grammatical errors that I noticed, and I have no hesitation in recommending this book. Excellent start to the series.

Garland breathes new life into the vampire world with a gripping story and compelling characters. From the first few pages, I was hooked. The writing was really good, and the story holds some unexpected plot twists!
Drawing Bloodlines is the first book in The Princeton Allegiant Series by Deborah Garland. OMG- this book is sooo good. I was hooked from the first page, and didn’t put it down till I had read every word. If this first incredible instalment is anything to go by this series is set to be AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved Ms. Garlands Darling Cove Series, but this book managed to eclipse them. Let’s face it though, Ms. Garland had me at the mere mention of vampires- as I LOVE a good paranormal romance, and this certainly has fit that bill!! I won’t go into the plot/synopsis- because the blurb does a better job than I ever could- but I wish I could find the words to do this author and this book the justice they deserve, because this book is a ‘breath of fresh air’ in a genre that can get a bit ‘stale’. I really CAN NOT WAIT to sink my teeth into the rest of the series- the new instalment/s can’t come quick enough for my liking. As I have mentioned, this is a fantastic paranormal romance with plenty of feels, second chances, drama, excitement, passion, action, angst, vampire ‘politics, hidden agendas, a completely captivating plot, and exceptional world building by Ms. Garland. The premise of the story is creative and imaginative- and has a uniqueness and originality that is hard to find in this genre. These new characters are superb- and that’s one of the things that Ms. Garland does so very well- being able to get her reader/s to completely invest in her characters and their story, whilst also imbuing the story with so much emotion, tension, and anticipation- that pulls the reader into the story and has us smiling, laughing, sobbing, and swooning as we follow along. I got to the end and I really didn’t want the story to have finished, I wanted to keep reading and explore more of the “world’ and characters. I want to know so much more about Elizabeth and Alex’s lives… and I hope we get that chance in future instalments. I NEED Loren and Julianna’s story now, too- as well as Francisco’s!!! Gah… I am so excited to see what comes next!!! This is a “MUST READ” for any avid paranormal romance fan- but anyone who loves a great, well written, romantic, and captivating read should also consider this book- as this story/series really does deserve to be read and should be on everyone’s TBR list!
There are a few twists in the book and some good sex scenes that is sure to heat your blood. If you love vampire romances (huge Trueblood fan here), I’d suggest giving Drawing Bloodlines a read.
This is the beginning of an Outstanding New Vampire Series! Of course, Ms. Garland had me at Vampire...hehehe (Twilight, TVD & Originals, TrueBlood, BDB...love them all!).
Ms. Garland's world-building was exceptional in this book. There are all sorts of new and exciting characters that I want to know more about, a plot and storyline that are both intriguing and unique, filled with action, passion, drama and angst, and the sex baby, oh. the. sex. It is graphic but not gratuitous so I was more than fine with it.
I was totally immersed in this book. Time flew by as I read, oblivious to the world around me. Seriously. The kids were like, "Mom, what's for dinner?" I was all, "Dinner? What is that?" LOL. I was too busy being engrossed with the tensions and emotions that were central to the storyline. And the antici-say it, say it-pation...I want to know more about Loren and Julianna along with Alex and Elizabeth. As I've been known to say, we laughed, we cried, we all went home happy. This was one of those books. I cannot recommend it highly enough for Vampire lovers. And for those who just enjoy unique, well-written sexy books, this is for you too!
Thanks Ms. Garland! Can't wait to read the rest!!!

I received this book freely upon request and am voluntarily leaving my review. All opinions are my own.
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland (The Princeton Allegiant Series) My rating: 5 out of 5 stars!
This is not your average vampire story. There is romance and action that balance out nicely for a terrific read! The character are all fantastic and the story line flows smoothly.
Elizabeth is a strong woman, and I think she is as strong as she is because of her fierce protection of her daughter Annie. When she meets Alex and discovers what he is, she is taken aback and hesitant of keeping anything going with him, but the love she feels for him, gives her the courage to keep going.
Alex seems like every other vampire in every other novel, but this one is different. He has a choice to make. He can give up his new found love of Elizabeth and her daughter Annie and go live in Philadelphia with Christiana, a vampire commander from his past, or he can fight for what he wants for once in his long life.
The chemistry between the two main characters is beautiful. The secondary characters are just as interesting. I would love to read the story of Alex’s maker, Loren and his love interest Julia. The powers that Loren has are peculiar, as well as those of Julia, whom Loren has also changed, their story would be just as exciting to read.
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) By: Deborah Garland 5 out of 5 stars
The story Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland is a wonderful book that includes vampires and romance. I have always loved vampire stories and this one only made me love them more. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. There are moments when the suspense is high and I was wondering what was going to happen next. There is action, conflict, and danger. I loved reading about the characters of Alexander and Elizabeth. They are amazing to read about and I found myself caring about them with each chapter that I read. Their story is both interesting and intriguing. The story has some steamy moments that make the temperature in the room rise and others that will make you swoon. You can feel the romance, passion, and desire. There are other characters that are introduced that I enjoyed reading about and would love to learn more about them. This is a book I would recommend reading. It is the first story in a series and I look forward to the next one.
Elizabeth Lockspier has had a lot on her mind with her classes she teaches and, trying to get her PhD, along with taking care of her daughter. She passes out and ends up in the ER, waking up to having her blood drawn by a doctor who is the best thing she's seen in ages! Unfortunately, when he leaves, she gets up to follow him and, sees him in the lab, drinking HER BLOOD???!!! And, she passes out again! Dr. Alex Manning is a vampire who is a few hundred years old but, he has NEVER has an instant, overwhelming attraction to a woman like Elizabeth! Drinking a vial of her blood just made the attraction even more consuming!!! So, what's a woman to do when she meets the man of her dreams, only to figure out there is something about him that he's not telling her? She knows that he's dangerous but, doesn't fear him. However, she has to protect her daughter. Alex will do anything to protect Elisabeth and, her daughter, even if it means he has to leave! .....Not if she can help it!!!!!
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland was simply phenomenal! This is the first book in her paranormal series, The Princeton Allegiant. This isn’t my first book by this author but it’s definitely my favorite!
I completely devoured this book, I read it in record speed as I was so captivated by the storyline that I couldn’t bring myself to stop! This storyline is intense, addicting, detailed, action-packed, aromatic, romantic and so perfectly steamy! I loved everything about it!
I can’t wait to read more from this author, and I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next paranormal read!
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland is the first book in The Princeton Allegiant series. I was excited because I always like a good vampire story and this did not disappoint. Alexander is a vampire and he gets a taste of Elizabeth, a mortal. She has sweet, irresistible blood to vampires and he realizes he must keep her safe. Will the two be able to fight and survive together. This is a story with suspense, romance, a bit of horror. I enjoyed the story and the characters. I look forward to seeing where this series will go. There seem to be a lot of different ways the stories can go.
This is a well written, creative story that had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times. I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story right from the beginning. Alexander is a hot vampire and Elizabeth is a single mother just trying to provide for her daughter. What happens when she passes out and awakens to him drinking her blood? They are great characters that made me feel part of the story and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book.
Book 1 in the Princeton Allegiant series, and the author did a good take on this version of a vampire story, some bits are different from what we would say a normal vampire would be, so this leads to a good world building scenario with lots of scope for more.
Dr Alexander Manning was turned by around 500 years ago, his sire Loren had many specialised vampire skills which have been passed onto Alex, which he hides away from other vampires. He works at a doctor at the hospital, where he meets Elizabeth Lockspier who needs some blood work done. Alex is drawn to her scent and her blood, attracted to a human in a way he never has been in all his years. Unfortunately Elizabeth sees him drinking a vial of her blood and faints. Alex must report to his Commander any breaches of the rules, ie, a human knowing of a vampires existence. He decides to follow her a wipe her mind instead, but again is completely drawn and fascinated by her, especially when he finds out she wants him just as much.
Elizabeth has never felt so attracted to a man, or something other, as much before in her life than she is to Alex, yet she fears for her life and that of her daughter. When Alex kisses her and assures her she is safe, she has choices to make that will change her life.
A good vampire read, I was taken by the story from the start, but really enjoyed the bits where Loren got involved and look forward to reading more about him and his talents! There is a lot going on in the story line, with disappearing vampires, warring vampire factions, treachery, angst, drama and excitement, as well as some toe curing passion, although I'm not altogether sold on the vampire being cold, and getting colder as he gets excited, not sure that would do very much for me lol.
Alexander is stunned at finding “her” she is a rare human, her blood is so sweet and special that vampires would do anything to taste it, even abduct the host to keep that sweet blood all for themselves. But he’s here to do a job, and he resists the temptation to “taste” the human in front of him. But Alex has left it too long between feedings, and after a hundred years of being a vampire he should have known better. But surely a sip wouldn’t hurt ...... But he gets caught drinking one of Elizabeth’s vials !!! Finding out where she lives is easy, intending to wipe her memory Alexander moves in ......but when Elizabeth opens her eyes, he doesn’t see fear or condemnation, he sees want and lust .....
The connection between Elizabeth and Alexander reminded me of another author (Lara Adrian, her midnight breed) and when he finds out his new commander wants him for her “mate” he’s left feeling torn (the feelings he has for Elizabeth or duty to his race?)
Alexander has a few things up his sleeve, he’s not going to go down without a fight. The magic he holds I had a few questions....... (was he born with it? Or does he practise?) could this be the key to his being able to stay with Elizabeth ? To find out if I get my questions answered, you’ll need to read it😉
There were a few surprises along the way? (don’t want me to spoil it😉) but a really well written book. Looking forward to reading the next book.
A scent too tempting to resist The perfect beginning to a series. These vampires are so much more than many we have read about. Their powers, their rules, the people in charge, all of these work against this couple, but with just the right backing things might just go their way. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more.
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant #1) by Deborah Garland was a hooking, hot read, that had me flipping the pages.
My, my, I have to say for a book, that for me had a shaky start, it quickly turned itself around and quickly made me a fan. As I an a fan of this author, I was super excited to get my hands on this different book from her. As her other series is non-paranormal, I was intrigued to see what new twists, and myths this author would bring to the vampire table. I was not disappointed in the least. Fresh and entertaining, Deborah managed to breathe new live into an over saturated market, and sparked a new love for the genera for me.
The only thing that I would change about this book, would be the opening. Now it did start with a nice well place opening chapter, it was the following one, when the POV switched to Alex, that I had problems. It's a spoiler so I can't get too much into it, but it touch on something a little too, dark in regards to consent and "primal urges", and in all honesty, if that scene was taken out, it wouldn't effect the book or plot in anyway shape or form. This's ultimately why I can't give this book a 5 star.
Overall outside of that, this book was as I said, fresh, unique, and entertaining. It has this nice twist, and I loved the new take on the vampire mythology. Once the secondary characters got introduced, things started to heat up, and the main non-love plot got underway, I was absorbed into this read and I didn't want it to end. The MC's, I got nothing but love for them, and I simply loved Alex's tone and voice. That dual POV was a key move, and one that elevated this story into something magical.
To end, and if you haven't guessed, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
A great read about love. Elizabeth goes to the doctor, Alex Manning for an appointment but gets ore than she bargained for when she sees him drinking her blood. She puts it out of her mind and carries on with her life. But she soon meets up with the doctor and attraction blossoms between them. As they follow this up into dating, events from his past threaten his future. Can Alex pursue this relationship and keep his true nature from coming out? A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like Alex torn between love and duty or Elizabeth trying to raise her child by herself. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the doctors with its white walls and bright lights full of people. Or the city itself with its traffic and busy roads full of life and people and noise for a sense of vibrant life contrasting with Alex's empty house full of silence and books perfectly written. The mix of realism with the school bus and the fantasy of vampires combined well to make a captivating read. A good addition to the vampire genre with the powers and venom and bloodlust, in these fantasy creatures with their own rules and politics and societies and laws coexisting with those of humanity. The switch between perspectives worked well to display bot sides of the narrative, but was sometimes unclear who held the narrative with only pronouns to go on. By adding names in chapter titles, this would make it clearer to the reader. There were also long sentences that were hard to read which could be reduced by a variety of sentence lengths.to engage the reader. Overall, a geeat read and I would give it four stars.
I give Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland, 4 stars.
Elizabeth isn't feeling too well after she's had blood drawn at her doctor's office. Feeling nauseated, she opens a door to what she thinks is the bathroom. Instead she finds the sexy doctor who just drew her blood and sees the unthinkable -- he's drinking her blood!!! Surely she is just hallucinating. This leads her learn that vampires are real. But can this sexy vampire fall for a woman like her? The answer appears to be yes, but the odds are against them that they will be able to make this relationship work. Can their feelings overcome all of the obstacles before them? What happens when danger comes knocking on their door?
This is a hot and steamy paranormal romance between a human and a vampire. To be honest, the beginning of the book shows the conflict with a human and a vampire being together. If you have read this genre before, you may have read similar. But the second half of this book is what really makes this story. There is plenty of action and things happening I can't say I have read before. Without giving it away, the scientific side of things is spectacular. Alexander and Elizabeth are great characters -- they both have their flaws and issues they bring into a relationship. This makes them relatable. The secondary characters are great too. We don't see too much of them but my interest is piqued and I hope to read more about them in future books.
If you like your paranormal romance hot and steamy with some action thrown in, this book is for you.
Drawing Bloodlines was a great 5 star read and book one in The Princeton Allegiant series. This is my first read from Deborah Garland and I loved it. I’ve gotten away from the vampire reads but Deborah has pulled me back into the genre with this book.
We start with Elizabeth at the OBGYN, and I had so many LOL moments with her thoughts. When she meets Dr. Alexander Manning during her blood draw, she has even more thoughts that seem to cause him to react in certain ways. After the draw she is a little dizzy and finds herself walking into a room and witnessing something that can’t be right, she must have been hallucinating, or was she?
Alexander was having a hard time resisting Elizabeth. Her scent was drawing him in and he had to taste her blood. Now he has a problem that he needs to figure out how to fix before it's too late. When he goes to her home he encounters something he didn’t expect from her, she wanted him even after what she saw.
These two had such a hot and steamy connection. Things take some big twists when Alexander is ordered to mate with the new commander. But he also has some secrets of his own. Can Alexander and Elizabeth get a HEA?
If you're looking for a great read with steamy scenes, LOL moments, twist and turns this is the book for you. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland is a supernatural paranormal romance story that grabbed my attention and kept me intrigued from start to finish. It is not your average vampire story and it was good to read something a little different. I love me a good supernatural paranormal story and this one is unique and a little thrilling. There is plenty of passion and drama, lots of angst and political vampire factions that made for an exciting tale. I loved the chemistry and bond between the two main characters which made this a beautiful story. But let's not forget the secondary characters are just as interesting and also made a pivotal difference. The ending was fabulous.
Alex has been alone for hundreds of years and never met someone who makes him feel the way the mysterious woman in his clinic has ever made him feel. She is like an addiction.
Elizabeth is lonely, she longs for that special someone to share her life with but she never thought it would be the mysterious doctor who turns out to be much more than she thought.
This wonderful tale is one that no one should miss and you will love it just as much as I did. I can not wait for the next installment.
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland 4 Stars
This is the first book that I have read from this author. I love vampire novels and Ms. Garland put some interesting twists in this story. Her vampires have some unique traits that I appreciated.
Elizabeth is a teacher trying to adjust to being a single mother. While at the doctor’s having a blood test done, she catches the doctor drinking her blood from a vial. Alexander is overwhelmed with the scent of her blood and drinks it. When he realizes that she saw him, he stalks her fully intending to wipe the incident from her mind.
The attraction between them is too strong and they enter into a relationship. It’s doomed from the start for vampires are not allowed to mate with humans. When a Commander chooses him to be her mate, Alexander desperately searches for a way out. He refuses to be stuck with someone he hates for all eternity. This leads to some interesting situations and an ending that you never see coming. What an ending! The author leaves enough open to be able to continue the series. I’m hoping the next book is about Loren and Julianna.
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland is the first book in the Princeton Allegiant series and is a fresh perspective on vampires in my opinion. This story is about Alexander Manning and Elizabeth Lockspier, these characters meet at Elizabeth’s doctor appointment when Alex draws then drinks Elizabeth’s blood. She definitely handled that little scenario better than I EVER could! The story just progresses from there and is a page turner to say the least. I was drawn in from the very beginning. Alex was a strong character who I felt bad for at points throughout the story. As for Elizabeth, she’s an independent, single divorced mom, who is a math teacher that is enamored of the handsome vampire from the beginning. I liked the fresh take on the vampire culture and the world Ms. Garland has built. Between the hierarchy of the vampires and their “powers” I spent a lot of time on the edge of my seat. I loved the main characters and the secondary characters left me wanting to know what is going to come next and I look forward to the next book in this series. This is the first book I have read by this author but it definitely won’t be the last.
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book One) By Deborah Garland is a HOT and AMAZING read!! This paranormal romance was such a good read that I was able to get finish in one sitting because I simply could not put it down. The vampires are not your normal you read about so I am excited to get lost into this world and see what the series has in store for us! Alex, a vampire, doctor and professor who has a high standing with the Princeton Allegiant and his sire Loren. No one knows about his gifts and he wants it to stay that way. Then enters Elizabeth, a newly divorced and single mother. She comes to the doctors for her blood to be drawn when she sees Alex, the most beautiful man she has ever seen and passes out. Alex is drawn to her scent and her blood and drinks some when he sees that Elizabeth had woken and seen him drinking. He goes to wipe her memory clear and when in her home, they both can see just how drawn to each other they truly are. When his past threatens what he has with Elisabeth what choice will he make?
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland

So I fell in love with this author while reading her Darling Cove Series and I couldn't wait to see what she would do with a paranormal story involving vampires. I'm not normally a fan of paranormal but because it's a new series and its this author I had to try it.
I Loved It!! I already can't wait for more. This one was the whole package tied up with the most beautiful bow. The flow, the characters, the twists and turns, which are my favorite because I love the unpredictable.
I can't quite figure out which way she will go with this series especially with how this book ended, which totally threw me because i truly thought it would end up going a different way. Although it doesn't matter because I will have whatever this author writes.
Highly recommend this, and recommend even higher reading anything by this author.
Drawing Bloodlines was a fantastic 5 star read! I was completely hooked from beginning to end. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author, I absolutely loved her Darling cove series so when I saw that she has a new series coming out that was different I was really excited to start it and I was not disappointed at all! I can already tell that this is going to be a fantastic series. The characters in the story were amazing to read about! Alex was a hot vampire who I LOVED!! I really liked that he wasn’t what I expected, I kind of imagined him to be the normal vampire in a paranormal romance but he wasn’t so it was a pleasant surprise! Elizabeth was great too! I loved the two of them together; they had an amazing and intense chemistry! I loved the storyline and all of the twists and turns! This is definitely a story that I would highly recommend! I am really excited to read the next book in this series!!!
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland is a paranormal/vampire romance. This story/series is unique compared against some of the other paranormal novels out there. I found the imagery, character interaction and story line refreshing, adventurous and suspenseful, as well as, quite intriguing. Elizabeth is a strong, steady in her convictions and how she perceives life. Alexander is amazingly strong, but yet, at the same time vulnerable which makes him irresistible. Something about this pairing and the sequences that unfold are hypnotizing in their development and intensity. By the time the story closes across the final chapters, everything shifts and comes to an unbelievable climatic ending. Holy batman, this story rocked and was a heck of a kick off for what potential there is for the remainder of the series.
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland is the first book in the Princeton Allegiant series. This book is absolutely amazing and has definitely made it to my just read list of 2019. I have read previous books by this author and I’ve always enjoyed them but this book was nothing at all like i expected in a good way!!! Quickly and easily I found myself fully immersed in these characters and thief story. I realm enjoyed the fact that it was a bit different to other vampire stories as well. It wasn’t just the same old same old. The supporting characters for me also made a difference in this book. I actually found myself just as intrigued by some of them as I was of the main characters. This book was brilliant and such a good read. I would highly recommend this to everyone!
I have read this author before in her "Darling Cove" series - I enjoy her writing style and the way she tells a tale. DRAWING BLOODLINES was a little bit of a departure from the "small town" feel of her previous series.
From the very first sentence to the very last period, this book turned its own pages. It's a well balanced story that has a paranormal aspect, romance, amazing characters and terrific world building. The main characters are a great read and the secondary characters not only hold their own, but lend to great anticipation of reading their stories in the very near (crossing my fingers) future.
This book is one that I would recommend to paranormal and romance readers alike.
5 Star Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland
Drawing Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant Series Book 1) by Deborah Garland is a wonderfully written story that I couldn’t put down once I started reading. Its also the first Book in The Princeton Allegiant Series. Who doesn’t love a good book about romance and vampires? I know I do. This story will hook you from the beginning and I found myself turning the pages fast trying to figure out what happens next. This story will keep your attention from the action and danger to the steamy moments. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series. This is a highly recommended must read!
