Definitely the go-to reference/pattern book if you want to learn to knit a colourwork sweater, whether top down or bottom up, pullover or a steeked cardigan. Alexa Ludeman & Emily Wessel make this so easy. If you're afraid to jump right in and knit a sweater, you can start small with a hat or cowl. They include so many stitch designs for you to incorporate and make your own unique sweater.

This is a wonderful book for anyone who enjoys knitting.

There are different projects for different skill levels, whether you want to start on a hat, or go head-first (pun intended) into a colourwork sweater. Choose one of their designs, or design your own using their "recipe" formula.

The illustrations are gorgeous, the charts are clear. It's a fab book.
