In the days surrounding Bob Perkins' surprise marriage, Kelsey and Tyler try to focus on Tyler's incoming promotion. But can Kelsey and Tyler keep a hold on their own lives as events around them spin out of control?
Thank you for a wonderful instalment in the series Cara Miller! The antics of the staff, their avoidance of Fiona and the familiarity of the staff toward the family they serve and protect are wonderful highlights to book 26. I will say that I am a little surprised Fiona's character developed as she did. Previous to this instalment she was always described in a positive and polite way but turns out that was just her public shell and not her true nature. It does make me wonder why Bob was so taken with her for as long as he was? Showing such a change in her true colours makes me think he just met her, not that she was someone he had known and dated for years. Whatever the case I don't think we have seen the last of Fiona although she may exit the series as quickly as she appeared in it....SPOILER... Is it just me or can no one see that the reason Bob won't marry Morgan is because she wants kids and he can't have them? Ryan isn't his son biologically and he has always loved and had a soft spot for Cherie because, even though he knew she was cheating on him during their marriage, she let him take her son and claim as his own. If Bob lets it be known that he can't have kids (aka tells anyone including Lisa and/or Morgan) then Ryan will legally lose his inheritance. Bob loves him too much to do that plus he doesn't realize that Ryan knows the truth. Can't wait to see if my theory proves true ... I've thought this for about half the series at this point but this issue was still never resolved or addressed. So I guess my only question is 'When in 2019?... When do we get our next snapshot into the boys life as they get ready for the summer wedding season?'
Also, on a personal note, can Tyler's attitude change marginally toward Ryan? I know Ryan is basically a spoil little kid set on getting his way but his character has grown since book#1 and while Tyler use to treat him with affectionate indulgence he doesn't seem to accept Ryan for who he is anymore but rather finds him annoying and would prefer not to have a relationship with him.... He can liked flawed people, Zack is his best friend, so can his attitude toward Ryan slowly shift back. Can Tyler resolve his anger with him, his lifestyle and the fact that he was parented completely differently even though it was principally by the same two people....
I have and love all the books in this series. My one wish would be for the books to be longer. The people are very in depth and the books are well written. They have your emotions running the gambit right alongside the characters in the books and each book you see them evolve and grow.
Great book. I loved it so much I wanted to read more. Please have your next book out soon. I am so in love with this series. I would recommend this series to everyone I know to read. Amazing writer you are and I can't wait for more books. Love it.
I really love this series however, I have grown weary of getting to the end of the book, where things are now climaxing only to see next book out in the same year or the year later?! Hopefully Stories of The Billionaire Boys Club will be the end of suspense.
Natalie, thank goodness some one else agrees with me. Fiona, what a mess. It's very clear Bob can't have kids. I want Morgan to get someone new to love. Clearly Bob is not worth her and won't fight for her . Why cant Tyler's god father get together with her. Waiting for the next installment.
