Kano & Montana: A Hood Love Story
Kaymar "Kano" Williams lived a hard life having to raise his little sister that was fourteen years younger than him after his daddy passed and his mama got hooked on drugs. He had to grow up at an early age and take on the role of becoming an adult way before his time. Starting off as a dope boy, he soon rises up the ranks before becoming the right-hand man inside of his uncle's drug empire. Yes! I can not wait until you finish the next book to this story. I cried. I laughed. And I got pregnant. LOL! I need me a KNO, GIRL. I was left in suspences when she opens the door. Hurry up, honey! Cus I know Kano gone get Ike butt. I'm reading your book.

This was a really good read.... Definitely had me interested the while way though... It read a t a nice fast steady pace... I did have some issues with the timelines at some points... While reading it would be talking about one thing and next page it has jumped to a different date and it took a little bit before it was mentioned what timeline we were now in... So that was a little distracting... But the storyline itself was very strong so that was a really good thing...
Montana... what do I say about her... I mean I liked her... But I didnt like how she was suppose to be this tough girl yet all I kept seeing was how weak she was... I was so over the back and forth with her... She just let Kano talk to her any ol way... Then she was just accepting any little attention that he would throw her way... I mean I know she just led a bad relationship... But she quickly and I mean quickly became the side chick to Kano... I mean yes Kano was feeling her but why commit when you can easily have your cake and eat it too...
I mean when I was reading about Kano... I liked him... He was that man... But as I watched how he treated Montana and talked to her... I was slowly losing how I felt about him.... He just kept playing this back and forth game... He would take things really far... Then when Montana would complain about something... The first words out of his mouth was... We are not together... Boy bye... You played this game to long...
Then the moment she pulls herself out of that drama, he gets all in his feelings... He gets her to talk to him again only to end up calling her all kinds of names... I was like wow... Tell her how you really feel about her... Then here she goes all weak and believing him And acting like nothing ever happened again... I was over these two... I just wish she would have made it harder for him... And let him know that he can't treat or talk to her that way... I mean come on... She just left a relationship like this... Why put up with it again...
I did love the relationship that she had with her brother Morgan and his fiance Niecy... They had her back at all times and helped her so much with her daughter Bella...
But now look at what Montana just did... She did not listen and now she has her and her daughters lives in danger... since she us suppose to be tough and she has grown a lot since being back home... Maybe she will be able to get herself and her child out of this safely... I guess we will see in part 2...

Yesss
This was a very interesting and great read, definitely different!! Kano had to grow up and be a man and take care of his four year old sister and I loved that about him. Montana has alot going on with her inner self and don't know how to handle her feeling for you childhood sweetheart.... I'm glad that Montana and Kano are together but I'm just nervous because I know Issac and Tracey isn't finish with wrecking their lives!!! Can't wait to see what's next!! Awesome Read Genesis

Tru love doesn't die
Ooh wow mouth dropper from beginning to end this was indeed a page turner. I absolutely loved this read, Kano is what a lot of men are truly misunderstood I am so proud of the bond he has with Mo and the relationship he established and continued with his sister. That young love is truly something serious and you never know how it unfolds. I felt like isaac is lurking and has a lot to do with the hits but I can't wait to see how the boss protector lover within Kano is released when it's revealed his precious jewels are tampered amazingly well done

I was so glad Kano put Tracy trifling ass on ice l. He had been kicking with her for years without a commitment and soon as Montana pop up she wanna get married and have kids but don’t have nothing to bring to the table. Montana loves Kano but she gotta let that hurt go any and everything he do she comes to Issac but that nigga wasn’t shit. With all this stuff popping off I hope Kano will keep his family together. I knew Issac was going to let Tana walk away so easy she should been put Morgan and Kano up on game about him.

She’s baaaack!!!! Genesis you did the damn thang when you wrote this book.
Montana and Kano were made for each other. One minute they’re at each other’s throats, the next minute they’re knocking boots. Tracy didn’t stand a chance. She just wasted all of those years for nothing. I had no respect for her because she let Kano disrespect her time and time again.
Isaac done messed up bad. He should’ve stayed gone instead of showing his face. No worries because his time is coming, and I’m going to have a front row seat to see the action.

It doesn’t matter how long it’s been... true love/real love still wins in the end. I love the bond that Kano and Mo have. Both are so protection their love ones. Kano is a true definition of a Step daddy... Stepping In/Up y fulfilling the void of the biological dad. Isaac! Can’t wait until Part 2 because he really didn’t fully think about his plan but he acted on it... Kano and Mo are about to make him feel it though. This book had me enthralled from beginning to end. Kano had to become a man early because at seventeen he had to raise his four year old sister. He's hard angry and misunderstood. Tana and Bee brings the softness out of him. He will stop at nothing to protect the ones he love so imagine what's gonna happen when he finds Isaac. Hate to be him. Can't wait for part two.💙💗

This book was so good I love the love between Morgan and Niecy there bond is beautiful and has been growing since middle school. Kaymar has been in love with Montana since they were kids but she left home for college and never returned. Montana is running from her crazy baby daddy but not telling Kaymar and Morgan will be her biggest regret and downfall. Hurry up part 2 #214 please let Kano save them.

I remember when urban authors started hitting the scene. It was so exciting. All of the different writing styles, different characters, character development was important. Now it’s just a formula that’s not even touching what was. I’m tired of these same characters with different names. Tired of the same tired storyline. Tired of the females that are educated dummies. The aggressiveness toward women that they led on. Just tired.

Yeah It's Good!
When you start this story you are going to be pulled in so easily. The writer starts right off weaving a web of what shapes up to be a really good story. The pace of the story moves effortlessly so that you are never bored. The two main characters give you the easy feeling of a couple that's meant to be. With just enough drama,action and mystery this makes for one really good read.

Montana should have just told her brother what was going on from the jump and why she left Chicago in the first place... now Issac is back and she has to explain and fight for her and her kids lives again when all this should have been prevented...Kano came into the picture and made her happy but it was like he couldn't get right because he was abandoned by his mother when he was younger and had to take care of his sister

Kano is a man man. He loves hard but don't take no stuff. Tracy you just wanted to slap her. I knew Isaac was going to pop up I just hope Montana get shot of this sticky situation and the baby is ok. I love Mo and Nisey relationship. You can feel their love through the book. Can't wait for part two.

Great story!
I really love this book. I couldn't put it down! Montana and Kano's relationship is quite relatable, being that the issue with most couples is a lack of communication along with some stubbornness thrown in. I can't wait to read what happens next with them. I also want to know what happens to Isaac and Tracy and with Mo and Neicy .

I really loved reading this book.. Kano and Montana started off rocky but I’m glad she decided to keep the baby and they are making it work. I hope Kano finds tone for shooting Mo and that nothing happens to tana with Isaac finding her because she decided to make that U turn and go to her house instead of going straight to Kano house like she was supposed to...

Amazing read!
Kano and Montana are both easy to love. This couple is definitely one of my favorites. I was glad to see the return of some of the characters from a previous series. This book was so amazing I just loved how Kano loved mother and child.
