I don’t know about your other patients. I’m sure many fall in love with you because you’re an angel, but I want to bring out the devil in you. I want the dirty, nasty Ariel who will rock my world not with the power of her mind—but with every drop of the sexuality I intend to bring out in you

That shocked reader there, the one currently picking her jaw off of the floor? No, not that one. The OTHER one. Yes, the one that's currently stalking Lexi Blake for any breadcrumbs from the next book. No, not that one! The other one! The one that's currently rocking in the corner while slobbering something incoherent that sounds like 'I need the next book'. Yes. Yes, that one. The pathetic looking one that's clutching her kindle to her chest. Yep. That's me! And don't you judge me either! Because this book blew me away! AWAY I tells ya!

This was, hands down, bar none, my absolute favorite book in the series so far. And yes, I know I also said that about the last book. So that's saying something, mkay? So. Freaking. Good.

Robert and Ari have been desperate for each other for years. Ever since Robert was first rescued from the clutches of the evil Dr. McDonald. But he knew his violent urges and inability to control the darkness in his mind made him dangerous to the beautiful psychologist. But Ari is so much more than she seems.

I'll tell you guys, that I was afraid I was going to be bored considering there's such a substantial connection that's already established with this couple through the first two books. And the fact that they get together quite quickly made me nervous. I'm a reader that likes my angst and enjoys that delicious burn of anticipation for the couple to finally get together. But of course Lexi Blake made me eat my words. Because the romance was phenomenal!

There's so much that's happening as the team continues to try and unearth the secrets of their pasts and prevent Levi Green from getting his hands on the mind erasing drug that took their past lives away from them. Lost In You was non stop action with so many twists and turns, it will leave your head reeling.

In the midst of all that high octane action, you also get more details about Solo and Ezra, which left me damn near rabid for their book. Think Ian and Charlotte times ten! YES. It's that good. Then there's the development behind Tucker's past and who really is Dr. Razor. And boy oh boy, let me just tell you, it's delicious!!! I'm practically dying for that book.

Ari and Robert together were incendiary. Their connection is so strong, but with the secrets that Ari is keeping and the hidden truth of Robert's past still standing between them, it's not an easy road for them. I devoured this book, y'all! Like downright devoured. I couldn't put it down for even a second. There's so much that happens. Secrets unearthed. Truth revealed. Twists thrown in. It was totally and completely unputdownable. I'm utterly rabid for the next book!!!

I've been wanting to try this series forever and I was not disappointed!

This is the 3rd book in the spin-off of Masters and Mercenaries and I would consider it a standalone. The overall theme of this series continues with each book, however the author did such a good job of bringing the reader up to speed to what is going on that I never felt lost.

I really enjoyed these characters. They are all trained to kick butt and take names, even the women. I get a kick out of a heroine who can really hold her own.

Everything about this book grabbed and held my attention. By the end of the book, I just wanted more. I can not wait to get Tucker's story next. I'm also gonna have to go back and start with book one and read all of the Masters and Mercenaries series.

I highly recommend this if you are a fan of romantic suspense. It's one of the best I've read!

I've mentioned how I LOVE Blake's forays into writing heroines who are 'diverse' without literally beating you over the head with it. This time we have Ariel Adisa, who's a black (British-Nigerian) psychologist and ex-MI6 operative. Our hero is Robert, amnesiac American soldier.

I wish I'd read this earlier in my massive three-week Lexi Blake binge, because I feel like then I'd have enjoyed it more. As it stands, while there's nothing wrong with it, it just didn't totally grip my attention.

I feel like I've been waiting forever for this book. Even though there are only two previous books in the series I feel like I have been waiting for Robert and Ariel's story from the beginning. Now that it's finally here it was more than worth the wait.

So many surprises and twists came up in this story. And so much great emotion from all the amazing characters that made up the Lost Boys and their team.

They all had very different personalities, but they share one common experience that has helped keep them united.

Even though Robert and Ariel were the main characters in this story, I love how Lexi Blake continues to let you get to know everyone else along the way. It's one of the things I love about her writing and that has me coming back for every book in her series. Because I have to see how each character finds their match and finally gets their HEA. Even the ones that are years in the making are so enjoyable to see develop over a few books.

Overall I loved this romantic suspense story and am loving this series. I highly recommend it and cannot wait to see what Lexi Blake has in store.

5 Star Review of Lost In You (Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten #3) by Lexi Blake

I have been anticipating Robert McClellan and psychologist Ariel Adisa’s story which is the third book in the series. I would recommend you read this series in order, but that is just my opinion.

Robert is part of a group of 6 men who were rescued by Rescued by McKay Taggart, and now live in the world no longer knowing their true identities, searching for answers. Used as experiments they have had their memories stripped from them and they all react in varying ways.

Ariel is frustrated by Robert’s determination to protect her even though he knows that she can look after herself.

There were times that Robert nearly broke my heart, he lives with the guilt that has almost destroyed him and the knowledge that people have died because of his actions.

As the search for answers moves to Europe, they have no idea of the danger and betrayal in Munich that will put everyone at risk. What will happen when secrets from Robert’s past surface?

Lost and Found is filled with suspense, danger, intrigue and the growth of a deep and committed love; one that made my heart pound at times. Lexi Blake always ensure that her characters are never one dimensional or superficial and I was engrossed from the first chapter to the last.

Know how some days you just need to get lost in a book? Well, be prepared to do just that with Lost in You.

You’re going to love the romance between Robert and Ariel. Love their connection—their intimacy even though they’ve spent months denying their feelings.

But what happens when the fantasy becomes reality—when Robert and Ariel finally give in and give their relationship a go. Will Ariel find a way to reveal her past—her area of “expertise” that has nothing to do with her psychology degree? Or will that past break them up before they can even start?

I truly cannot read these Masters & Mercenaries: The Forgotten books fast enough! I’ve been waiting for Robert and Ariel’s story to unfold—and I loved everything about it—yes, even the parts where I may have yelled a few unkind words at my Kindle hoping Robert and Ariel would hear me. “EEEEEEEK!” So that right there is literally what came out of my mouth as I read the last line of this book. I have so many words but will NOT give away one suspenseful, intense moment of this book! Here is what I will say, you will join our Lost Boys and friends as they continue to try to unravel their past as well as all that Dr. McDonald has done to them. This book is full of the return of old players and a few new ones. Some questions will be answered, and guaranteed your jaw will drop as you read this book! So many new things will come, new questions, new twists and new people. Your heart will ache, it will soar and in the end you will possibly shriek out loud as I did and wish February would arrive so we can have Long Lost in our hands!

Ariel has some decidedly unprofessional feelings toward one of her patients, the delicious but damaged Robert McClellan. She knows she cannot possibly get involved with him - can't give into their intense sexual tension, can't play with him at the club. But when she finally decides she certainly can, he rejects her soundly.

Robert knew he shouldn't get involved with the woman he was obsessed with back then, so he did the hardest thing he'd ever have to do, and rejected her. Now, much later, he's finally conquered some of his demons and feels he's ready to make Ariel his. The question is, will she let him claim her? More importantly, will her big secret, her past get in the way once they finally come together?

Although I haven't read any of the other stories in this series, it was really easy to get into and understand what was going on in Lost in You. Robert and Ariel are a fascinating couple. I like their BDSM scenes - not too hardcore, but not really fluffy either. Their particular brand of Dom and sub work perfectly together and I like how their kinks played into the development and maturation of their relationship. Add in the suspense and intrigue of what's going on with who the mole in their organization is, if Solo is really on their side, and what Lost in You presents is the kind of romantic suspense I like best - suspenseful, intriguing and action packed, super sexy, well-rounded, likable leads, all with a secondary cast that is just as interesting and fascinating as the leads. Now I'm just here waiting (impatiently) for Tucker's story, Long Lost, to land on my Kindle in February!

Dude! Fucking spies! Sooooo goood!

The bad guys are good, the good guys are bad—or are they?—and despite trying brace, you just know there’s still a whole damn shit show (you didn’t see coming) waiting for you at every turn!

Lexi effectively lulled me into a false sense of security with the first half of the book—I was engaged, big ole heart eyes, feeling loved up FFFIIIINNNNALY getting “RobAri” goodness—and then...boom, motherfucker!

Shit.
Went.
Atomic.

Like the previous two books in this series, with Rob & Ari’s story you get a whack (I’m not sure if that’s a spy pun or not...and I read that damn book...so says something about the suspense level right there 😜) of answers (and they’re doozies!), but there are even more reveals left ripe and hanging for picking, on another day, in another book.

And clutch the fucking pearls, this freakin’ book (well, in my squirrelly mind at least 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😆) is so crammed with (future) plot easter eggs it’s a wonder the damn thing didn’t come packaged in bright foil, nestled in a basket!

So without giving away any spoilers, coz you really gotta experience this shit first hand, I will say the chemistry between Rob & Ari was on-point and everything I wanted for (and from) them.

Loved this book.

Sidebar One: Dayyyuyum...Ezra and Solo are gonna end up setting shit on fire when we get their book! (And there goddamn well better be a ‘their book’, Lexi, ok???

Sidebar Two: THAT. EPILOGUE. THOUGH! Faaark. (Ugh, how long until book 4??? Not to be an ungrateful biatch or anything, but I’ve got a massive case of the gimmmmme, nows! 😜)

The idea of the Lost Boys is so interesting and I'm really glad we are getting their stories.

It's interesting to watch someone put themselves back together after a tragedy. It's not usually one where all memories have been stripped, but that's what happened to Rob.

Ariel kbows, she's worked with him and the others, but loves him anyway.

I think that was my favorite part of this, that maybe he's not the perfect romantic hero...but she wants him anyway.

It's tough to get into detail without ruining the story, as this one is twisty and takes a few turns, which I don't want to spoil... but I loved the balance, how both of them were capable and yet also able to be vulnerable. It's not a happy world where they live, but they have been able to find their happiness in it, and I enjoyed that.

I enjoyed and recommend this book.

I was so so on the romance between Robert and Ariel, they were bland at best for me. What kept me going with this one was the larger story arc. I like that we got to know who the spy in their midst was, got to know more about Robert's past, saw Solo and Ezra verbally battle it out, but it was the ending that really had me on the edge of my seat. Tucker isn't in a good place and some new facts were dropped on us like a bomb. And then there is Levi...I can only hope that things aren't as good as they looked for him at the end. It will be interesting to see where things go from here for everyone.

Lost in You is the third book in Lexi Blake's spin off from the Masters and Mercenaries series about the lost boys who were rescued by McKay-Taggart. The men all lost everything when their memories were wiped by evil scientist Hope McDonald and they're all still trying to figure out who they were and where they came from. In the meantime they've become as close as brothers and they all look up to Robert as their leader. Robert is determined to help his brothers find out who they are, he wants to find out exactly what was done to them and stop it from ever happening to anyone else but he's pretty much given up on the idea of finding anyone from his own past. He'd rather focus on the future he is longing to build with fellow team member Ariel.

We've seen the connection between Robert and Ariel throughout the first two books but for some reason Robert has always been holding himself back. Now we start to realise that he's terrified of hurting her. He doesn't remember his old life but he suffers with awful nightmares and he knows there is a darkness inside him that he doesn't want to taint Ariel with. Ariel has been in love with Robert for months but she's also afraid of what will happen if he ever gets his memory back. Could he have family out there waiting for him? Would he still love her if he could remember his past? The questions plague her and make her wary of committing to a relationship with him. But they've been circling each other for so long now and something has to give, once they've crossed that line it'll be impossible to step back over it.

The group is still surrounded by danger on all sides as rogue CIA agent Levi Green is still trying to get hold of the drugs that wiped their memories. He wants to recreate the experiments using American soldiers but the lost boys and McKay/Taggart will stop at nothing to prevent that from happening. They are also focused on trying to get hold of any information they can about McDonald's experiments, partly to stop it falling into enemy hands but also so they can try to figure out a way to reverse the damage that was done to them. With their enemies closing in, and Ariel keeping some pretty dangerous secrets, things are officially about to go FUBAR.

This was definitely my favourite book in the series so far, I loved the romance between Robert and Ariel but I'm also really enjoying getting to know the other lost boys better and it's been really interesting to see them slowly starting to uncover more about their pasts. There are some HUGE revelations in this book, ones that completely took me by surprise, and I'm already desperately waiting for the rest of the series. The ending made me think Tucker's book is next which I'm really excited for but I also hope we're going to see a lot more of Esra and Solo soon.

Quite simply I loved this

I've read quite a few of the earlier Masters and Mercenaries books, but haven't read any of The Forgotten series . Whilst there are a few minor spoilers in this book, I'm fairly certain when I go back and read them (and that is high on my TBR priority list) I will still enjoy every single moment. Ms Blake does an amazing job of making this stand-alone, allowing you to keep up with the story, without giving too many spoilers away.

Robert is one complex man, and whilst he doesn't know who he was he definitely knows who he is now. I fell in love with immediately, fell in love with his gentleness, his caring heart, his leadership and sense of responsibility and his protectiveness of those close to him. Life has dealt this man the worst of hands yet he fails to give up or bow down, innately showing his true character.

With how much I loved Robert I should have hated Ariel, but I couldn't. She wasn't perfect and she did bad things for good reasons and I totally and utterly believed in her love for Robert. This couple had chemistry that sizzled and we get treated to several very hot BDSM scenes. I may even have to invest in some wooden pegs!

The suspense/intrigue aspect of this book was outstanding. The surprises, twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat. What I really enjoyed was that some of those twists don't play out in the way you would expect. In the way that most other authors would have developed it. I really didn't know what was going to happen next and I was mesmerised. I was engaged by every part of this story - apart from the bit I didn't enjoy, when the author did that 'nasty author thing'. It might have been necessary for the story, and I may have forgiven her, but I don't have to be happy about it 😉

Lexi Blake is a true master at writing intense, erotic, suspenseful, BDSM stories and I cannot recommend her series highly enough. This is yet another amazing addition to it.

Lost In You is book 3 in the Masters and Mercenaries spin off,The Forgotten and it’s Robert and Ariel’s book - FINALLY! We have seen these two dancing around each other in previous books so I was super ready for them to get their HEA. And they did, but it was a rough road with Robert’s wife appearing, a traitor in the Lost Boys and a BDSM scene with clothespins that made me squirm- in a wow that must hurt and maybe not in the good way.

Ariel! Finally Ariel! That is all I could say in the beginning. She’s a total bada$$, former spy, psychologist and sub that needs Robert to take charge but can totally hold her own (hello shooting the baddies in the last book!). The chemistry between Robert and Ariel is off the charts, the action is pretty much non stop and the end just left me happy I am behind so I can jump into Tucker’s book!

LOST IN YOU by Lexi Blake is book Three in the Masters & Mercenaries: The Forgotten Series. This is the story of Ariel Adisa and Robert McClellan. I have yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone series.
Robert once had to fight in a battle the he didn't understand but was rescued along with some other men by McKay Taggart. They had been stripped of their memory, so none of the group are really sure who they really are. Now they are a group moving forward to find out as much as they can along with what has happened. Robert meets Ariel who is a psychologist who he wants to protect even though she has proven herself to be a strong women. When they go on a mission to Munich, Ariel feels this is her time to show how strong she really is.
Loved this exciting story and hope to read the previous books soon~!

I cannot fault Lexi Blake's books. She always fills them with heat, action, mystery, thrill, suspense and of course, romance... And Lost In You was no different.

I went into this book as one that hadn't read the two previous books to the series, and I read it with ease, however, I can see why books one and two would be important.

Robert and Ariel were truly two of a kind. Robert had his demons, he held a lot of guilt from his past, things that he can't change now, and reading that guilt he had was heartbreaking. I felt for this man, and it honestly made me love him more.

Ariel is stubborn as hell, Robert is trying to protect her, but Ariel wants nothing to do with it, she knows she can look after herself and these two together? Well, that was epic. The push and constant pull with these two were enough to send me crazy but in all the best ways. They were angsty, they were all the feels, plus action and suspense..

Lexi Blake is famous for her enticing plots, plot twists that will have your mind reeling, and they will keep you on the edge of your seat, clenching your kindle to breaking point. That is a guarantee whenever it comes to Ms. Blake's work. She is the master at it, and I will always come back for more. Lost In You was no different. It was excellent, it was all-consuming, intense and addictive. I just couldn't get enough! I'm off to read books one and two, and I know I'll be re-reading this masterpiece again!

6 stars, because 5 isn't enough!

Wow! This book held me completely captivated and I didn't want to put it down. I so enjoy getting lost with the Lost Boys! Robert and Ariel have been dancing around each other for awhile. They had to work together and they tried to push their feelings aside. However, the chemistry between them was palpable and too strong for them to stay away forever. Besides the passion between them, this book also had mystery, action, edge-of-your-seat thrills! I couldn't read this book fast enough because I had to know, WHAT'S NEXT!? I loved this installment in the Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten Series. Be sure not to miss out on this read!

I typically inhale this series. Here...I had to force myself to get through this - the H is a good guy, the h is a kind woman, they clearly love each other ... and I was bored by their love. B o r e d. Still, the story featured fav characters from earlier tales as well as the key romance to come, Ezra & Solo, aka Ian & Charlotte II.

A few tears plus the sweetness of the H/h did make the story fine, but the predictable bad guy, the scheming wife, the knowing you simply had to get through this book to get closer to the next one...3 is a very generous score. Blake needs to up her game. Fingers crossed for Tucker & Roni, up next.

Lost in You by Lexi Blake is book three in her Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten Series. Every book is about another couple and can, while interconnected, easily be read as standalone.
Lost in You is Robert and Ariel's highly anticipated story.
I started reading and what can I say, it's an excellent written, beautifully thought out and beautifull told heart wrenching story. Unputdownable and read cover to cover in one sitting story. 5 Stars.

Well that was the cluster F**K that Big Tag said it was at the end of Protected, Wade's book and Close Cover, Remi's book. I was a bit annoyed that it was mentioned in that book and then we had to wait 3 books later to find out what he was talking about.

This gets three stars b/c I just didn't get into the relationship between Robert and Ariel. I know that their relationship had been building for a while through many books, and I was fine with it in the other books, but seeing it actually happen and play out, I didn't connect with either of them. I was not really a fan of the D/s part of their relationship, I'd not really seen them in D/s roles in past books so that element felt forced to me, and Ariel didn't feel like a sub to me, thought she is a bit more of a masochist than I expected. Basically I never connected to them on that level, but I like them individually.

Then there is Sasha who is a switch, that was interesting. It was interesting to see another BDSM club, and the addition of another kink, the furies, one that is not see much in books or stateside. I like the theory one of the guys put out there that Big Tag has a network of Spies turned BDSM club owners and how they will end up being their own secret agency.

As for this fitting with the over all story of both the M&M series and the Lost Boys, I really enjoyed it, so many twists and had me wanting to know more and not having to stop to sleep. The action starts from the beginning and does not really stop. As a romance, this was not my fave.

I'm really ready for Levi to be killed. Oh and Tucker, you are next in the series and I hope this goes well for you, you've had me since Brody's book.

REVIEW: 4.25 stars--LOST IN YOU is the third instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult MASTERS AND MERCENARIES: THE FORGOTTEN erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on six former military soldiers (Jax, Dante, Sasha, Tucker, Owen and Robert) whose minds and lives were eradicated and erasedby a secret, military experiment. This is team leader Robert McClellan, and psychologist Ariel Adisa’s story line. The Forgotten is a spin-off from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series where the characters were first introduced and played an important role throughout.

NOTE: If you have not read Lexi Blake’s original Masters and Mercenaries series, their may be some confusion as it pertains to the Lost Boys and their backstory.

WARNING: There are some BDSM scenes as well as Dom/sub sexual scenarios.

SOME BACKGROUND: Several months earlier, the mercenaries from the McKay-Taggart Black Ops group rescued, from an unauthorized military lab, run by Dr. Hope McDonald, six men they labelled the ‘Lost Boys’. With their memories wiped clean, no ID, and no traceable DNA, the Lost Boys were essentially ‘new born’ soldiers trained to kill and destroy. The Forgotten are their stories.

Told from several third person perspectives including Robert and Ariel LOST IN YOU continues to follow the search for the truth. As the resident psychologist struggling to bring back the memories of the men known as the ‘lost boys’, Dr. Ariel Adisa finds herself falling for one of their own but Robert McClellan battles between head and heart knowing his nightmares and night time PTSD are a threat to everyone including the woman with whom he has fallen in love. As the team of ‘Lost Boys’ and the members of McKay-Taggart continue to search for a mole in the group, Dr. Ariel Adisa begins to do some investigating of her own. What ensues is the building Dom/sub and romantic relationship between Ariel and Robert, and the fall-out as betrayal, vengeance and loss threaten to destroy them all.

Robert McClellan’s memories are few and far between but at times he falters between the present and the past. Falling in love with Dr. Ariel Adisa was never something he had considered but their first introduction brought about thoughts for a future, if only in his heart. Dr. Ariel Adisa keeps hidden a past that once revealed may destroy the trust she had developed with the men under her care. Reaching out to the people she once knew meant the possibility of opening doors that were meant to remain closed.

The relationship between Ariel and Robert is one of immediate attraction but Robert struggles with PTSD, flashbacks and the trauma of amnesia and the destruction of his previous life. Trying to protect the woman he loves, Robert struggles to keep his distance but our heroine needs to be dominated and Robert is the man for the job. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense with scenes of bondage, discipline and D/s scenarios.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the ‘Lost Boys’ aka the Forgotten: Jax and River: Owen and Rebecca: Dante, Sasha, and Tucker as well as Big Tag; Theo Taggart, Ezra Fain and Kim ‘Solo’ Solomon. The requisite evil has many faces including the continuing struggles with Levi Green. Once again, the numerous names and nicknames given to the story line characters can, at times, be confusing and overwhelming.

LOST IN YOU is a story of betrayal, vengeance, secrets and lies. The premise is heart breaking, intriguing and suspenseful; the characters are broken, colorful and lost; the romance is seductive and captivating. Lives will be threatened and lost; friendships forged with be destroyed in an instant.

Robert McClellan is a “Lost Boy”, one of a group of men experimented on by Hope McDonald. He doesn’t remember who he used to be, just knows the man he is now. He is the leader of the Boys and helps and protects them from outside forces trying to take them in for nefarious reasons. When he was first rescued by McKay-Taggart, and Knight, he was offered a job with MT. Instead he chose to go to London and live at The Garden. There he met Ariel Adisa, a psychologist who works for Damon Knight. He believes he fell for her the minute he saw her. She had the same feelings but had to keep it professional. Now after an incident in Toronto, they decide to take their relationship to the next level. They along with a team, head to Germany to locate someone who had worked with Dr. McDonald and to gather intel from Kronberg. This was the easy part. They also had to locate the traitor within the group who keeps providing information to Levi Green.
I couldn’t put this book down. In this story, we primarily see the development of the relationship between Ariel and Robert. The past of both characters comes into play in this story and it is a case of “be careful what you wish for” and they have to work through how it will affect the direction they head in together. While trying to work on their relationship, they have to deal with flashbacks, traitors, allies or foes, and trying to find one of the people who worked closely with Hope McDonald. I love how Ms Blake includes characters from her other stories. She includes humor, BDSM, twists and turns, revelations and more questions just when you think you get answers. This was a suspenseful roller coaster ride I didn’t want to get off of. It was a real page turner. It was hard to write this review without adding spoilers. The ending was a little taste of what is going to happen in the next book which is Tucker’s story. I can’t wait.

I have been head over heels in love with Lexi's books for years and even more so with the storyline that has involved Theo Taggart and The Lost Boys. The books revolving around the evil Hope McDonald plot has captivated me from the very beginning and the Forgotten series is, I feel, some of Lexi's best writing. In Lost in You the series comes to a tipping point where agencies collide, secrets are revealed, people make huge revelations and the tide begins to change.

As I began this novel, I was overcome with joy at everything that happened just in the first few chapters and Lexi continued to not disappoint as the book continued. This book will go down as one of my favorites. This is saying a lot because I have loved each book in the Forgotten series along with every book in her Masters and Mercenaries series, but this one is just everything!!

As a huge fan of her work I know the dedication Lexi puts into each book and the fans will pour over each moment like I did. Some will gasp in shock and others will clap in glee. What I want to say (since I don't want to give spoilers away) everything happened as it should have and now I wait in great anticipation for the next Lost Boys book for it will be epic.

Lost in You is a tale that is emotional, super steamy, and still so riveting that the story grabbed me right from the beginning and held me until the very end. Throw in the snarky, funny characters that I absolutely adore and I was hooked!

Robert and Ariel have been dancing around each other for years, but they both have been holding back for their own reasons. Ariel has secrets about her past and Robert is afraid of his unknown past and the beast that lies within him.

With their current mission as a fact finding mission only, Ariel has been sent along to help weed out the traitor that has been giving out their secrets and ultimately their whereabouts on every mission up to this point. Ariel is a psychologist and should be able to pin down who the traitor in the midst is while working in the field alongside everyone, something she hasn't been able to do while sitting in one on one sessions with each man. She's also looking forward to some one on one time with the man who has been circling her personal space, Robert. The only problem is, could he eventually catch up to his past and leave her sitting alone wanting him in the present.

Robert has wanted Ariel from the first moment he met her. What he fears is the beast that comes out in the nightmares he suffers while he sleeps. He would never want to harm the woman he's come to care about, but the more time he spends with Ariel, the harder it becomes to stay away. Once he has a taste of her he never wants to let her go, but when his past walks through the door, he might not have a choice.

Wicked Reads review

This is the third book and you do need to read the previous books if you want to follow the characters and what is happening in the story.

This is Roberts story. It didn’t disappoint. We are still wondering why Levi Green is causing issues, but this time, we get to see Ariel and Robert interact more. They have amazing chemistry and just when you think you know how they will react to their pasts...nothing is as it seems.

Ariel knows that in order to do her job, she has to know how to keep secrets. Despite knowing that, she is finding is very difficult to keep secrets from Robert. Someone is out to get them and it’s her job to figure out if any of the men she’s dedicated to helping aren’t who they seem to be.

Robert is who everyone looks to for leadership. He knows that his men are starting to become restless, even paranoid about what is happening to them and around them. Robert is trying to keep his men safe, all while helping them figure out their pasts. When he finally takes the plunge with Ariel, what he doesn’t expect are feelings that he can’t control to rule him. He knows that Ariel and him are compatible. He knows that he loves her. But, what he doesn’t know is if he can trust her.

Danger comes from all directions and knowing who to trust is difficult. This book keeps you on your toes and you are constantly guessing as to what might happen next. I can’t wait to see what happens next and really am hoping for more answers than questions. You won’t be disappointed.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the third book in the Lost Boys series, and oh my goodness I love this series so much. I have loved all the Masters and Mercenaries books, but these which concentrate on the Lost Boys are just fabulous. The drama is so intense, the feels for these strong men who have lost everything and yet are so good and keen to do right by the world. But do be clear you really could not read this as a standalone and understand the underlying story, so please at least read the previous 2 books in this series.

I really don't want to spoil any of the richness of this next set of revelations, but I can promise that you will not be disappointed. I think everyone's situation moves forward ... well maybe Solo and Ezra are still stuck in their crazy holding pattern, but more and more is being revealed, and even the men are starting to have memories and keep them. And as for hotness factor ... well I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, there is one scene which two days later is still making me blush at the sensuality it exudes - perfect!

A fabulous next installment, and as I was a little behind, I had the huge pleasure of going straight to the next one - what an absolute treat!

I know when I see a new book coming by Lexi Blake that I am not going to be disappointed or be putting it down until I get to the end. Her books are always filled with amazing characters, steamy moments and a whole lot of danger and intrigue!
We have met both Robert and Ariel in the earlier books and I am so excited they now have their story. Imagine having no memory of who you are and having to start all over again. Robert and his ‘brothers’ all have to deal with this because of an evil doctor. They get snippets of their memories but not enough to tell them who they were. Robert does know that he has changed and wants to stay with the woman he loves as the man he is now.
Ariel has been working with them to deal with a lot of their recovery but she is so much more than just a therapist. She has her own secrets but she knows how she feels about the man Robert is today. A man she has come to love.

Secrets are kept, friends are betrayed and there is a fine line drawn between friends and enemies, but there is so much more to this story and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

Lost in You can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest you catch up on the first books in the Forgotten series before reading this one. The storyline is ongoing throughout this series and we still don’t have all of the answers at the end of this book either. So go back and catch up! You won’t want to miss a moment.

After Masters and Mercenaries, it is time for the lost boys to find themselves, a woman to love and happiness.
I liked Robert from his first appearance and he did live up to my expectations. It took me some time to get into this story and relate to Ariel. I’m happy I did continue to listen (let’s be honest, Ryan West could read a phone book to me and make it sound interesting - it wasn’t a hardship 😎). About 30% into the story it grabbed me and I loved it!
