Lily Graison is a USA TODAY bestselling author of historical western romances. She also writes a variety of genres under the name L. R. Grasion. Most all of her stories lean heavily to the spicy side with strong female leads and heroes who tend to always get what they want. On occasion, she can be found penning ‘sweet’ romances with chaste kisses and wholesome values. Ever a romantic, she believes in love at first sight and has a tendency to fall for bad-boy romance heroes.
You know the end is near when I read two eBooks in the span of a few days :P :)
Heartstrings is a sweet, heart-felt read. The lil' twist at the end was unexpected. I am looking forward to starting Miranda's story (Book #8.6 in the series :)) tonight.
This story is not just about love and acceptance between man and wife but also about finding happiness unexpectedly. Grace has had a terrible time with mother hood and when she finally decides that she needs to move on a homeless girls steps into their lives. Rafe is such a wonderful character and so devoted I felt joy when he told her he would travel wherever she wanted to go to make her happy. The perfect book for Valentine’s Day!
I have read all the books in this series and I am so happy to read the completion of Rafe and Graces story. It is very much a feel good ending to there lives and I recommend it to anyone who likes to smile while reading a book. as usual Lily leaves you waiting for her next book.Happy reading everyone
Grace’s story of finally getting what her heart desires most of all, a baby was wonderful! I think I started crying from page one and didn’t stop till the end. The description of Grace sitting by the cemetery, tore my heart out, but what a wonderful husband she had in Rafe. I was so happy that in the end, she got more than she ever expected.
What a great book! Having read the rest of this series I was already attached to the characters. This change in Race and Grace's lives was well written and from the start has the tissues standby. Excellent story!!!!
A quick little story with a lot of heart. I remember Grace coming to Willow Creek so many years ago and still happy she found Rafe. I enjoyed this novella and it was perfect for an afternoon read with a happy ending. Loved it!
This series keeps getting better and better, if you like historical romance you cannot go wrong with Lily Graison. Obviously we originally met Grace and Rafe in Book 5 of the series which was their ‘love story’ and caught up with them again in books 7 and 8 as support charcaters – so if you have not read the rest of the series I would suggest doing so before you read this one as it will all make far more sense then. Here we are seeing Grace and Rafe at their worst, they have had heart break after heartbreak and whilst their love is as strong as ever Grace’s spirit is broken almost beyond repair, leaving Rafe feeling as if he failing to protect the wife who is his world. Could Ava possibly be the answer to all their prayers or will their dreams crumble once again leading to more heartbreak and their dreams being snatched from their grasp? Hope can be dangerous but what is a life without hope? This book is excellently written and has you hoping and praying with Grace and Rafe right from page one and on more than one occasion my tears fell with Grace’s as I felt her despair. The first book in this series ‘The Lawman’ is a free download, so why not take a step back in time and visit Willow Creek, I am confident you won’t be disappointed.
