Story that very well captured heart-breaking emptiness mixed with raw fear, loneliness and coldness of world where Draco was thrown to as a punishment for his crimes of being Death eater. I really liked how this story felt more tightly written, compact (than the one called We All Fall Down) and that the author was good enough to make me feel strongly the biting coldness of tragic 7 years that Draco spent in completely destroyed London, where he tried everything to survive and cope up with the fact that his parents were killed like animals. I felt really, really sorry for Draco, because he was left to die there, nobody cared, and he could hardly do anything to get out of there, he hardly had anything to eat and yet he had to do hard work and try to restore London for fucking 7 years!!!
I am so glad that he saved Hermione which was the starting point for their interaction. I am glad that she was able to see how affected he was by trauma that he experienced and that he hurt a lot. It was sad to see how different he was - meek, submissive, scared - shadow of his former self.

Happy that Hermione broke the rule and got him out and that his sentence was dismissed. But really the minister of magic was too strict when he commented on Draco´s punishment. I felt so sorry for him, they behaved like Draco was worse than Voldemort...
