They say love has no place in the perfect vampyre society. I say emotional desire cannot be suppressed. I will go as far as I must to be with the one I love.
Those in power are suppressing the truth, and it all stems from the Coven of Vampyres strict law: Human and Vampyre fraternization—strictly forbidden. When living in a society where love, passion, and desire are restricted it isn't long before someone dissents. I just never thought that someone would be me.
The day I met him, the vampyre Sebastian of Orias, everything changed. Never in my life did I think someone like him, the son of a Count, would pursue a human like me. But he did. He stalked me, he approached me, and now he wants me.
We chose to break the rules, defy the Coven, and embrace this connection, regardless of the dangers that may unfold. However, our passion may reveal secrets the Coven may be willing to kill to protect.
The Bloods Passion Saga is paranormal vampire romance tale of forbidden love for mature adults 18+

A supernatural story with a plot twist, a vampire falling in love with a human both of whom are supposed to have an arranged marriage within their respective species to royalty. Apart from that, the romance between the two species is forbidden.
The supporting characters were written well too, I personally felt there was more desire on hand than romance between the two main characters.
Overall an okay light hearted romance read to pass time and maybe something very easy to read.
I loved it from start to finish. This is different from his other books. It follows the story of a young woman coming of age and defying laws to be with someone she loves. Too bad that someone happens to be a vampire who keeps threatening to make her his meal. OMG there are so many things that happen to this woman in the short span of 6 to 7 months.Too many developments and plots twists to name here. Highly recommend.
The story started off like Romeo and Juliet, with a vampire and a human girl loving each other despite various obstacles. However, as the story progressed, it took a different turn with some surprising twists and turns. The pacing of the story was a little slow at times, but overall, it was an enjoyable read that left me interested enough to continue with the series.
Quick thoughts . . . lovers of vampire theme romances would find this one interesting. There are differences of opinions on how the humankind and the vampryekind should or could interact. The romance is palpable. There are bands put in place and a price to pay for doing the forbidden.
This romance was between two classes that should not have that kind of contact. There was no room for love. There was no room for passion. There was only one way and that was the way that was dictated to them. Kyra and Sebastian find that they never felt the kind of emotions that they were feeling. There was something elemental yet soul stirring about the emotional connections that were made here. The sacrifices that were willing to be made.
Courting Moon was a romance filled with some drama between races, a bit of mystery/suspense, passion never know by either, and romance that will change the direction of this new world.
I got drawn in and wrapped up in the opposite side of the Council and the Coven. Krya had a lot to come to terms with in her young life. The first POV was telling from Krya’s aspect. She tackled real world impacts on her small family. Seeing things from her viewpoint allowed for further insight into what was going on with her. For me this was a read that will give new ways to see the roles of the various races living together and when things cross between and beyond those lines.

I have to say that I have had the pleasure of featuring Adom Sample on my blog four previous times over the last three and half years. He has not disappointed with his works. This would the first time that I have had the pleasure of sampling his audio works. This time it was done a little different than my previous audiobooks. This one was done via youTube. I loved it. I had a visual and the audio to go with it. I also found that all the books of this series was available via this media. I took a bold step and started with the prequel to this one with Kyra and Sebastian. That gave a little something extra in on their relationship. I was excited to move on to book one, even though I had read it. Audio brings a book to life and the narrator did a good job. You feel the struggles, pains, confusion, love, elation, and more of Kyra.
I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Adom Sample. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.
4 stars ⭐️ Surprisingly this book was very entertaining and the sex scenes were hot as hell! The way that Sebastian (the hero) talked in the book had me wondering if the book was set in modern times or if it was set back in the 1800s? For example, this line: "Fear not. It's me, Sebastian." Who in the hell says that kind of shit? I mean it did have me laughing my ass off throughout the entire book, so I really can't complain.
Kyra is surprised one night when a vampyre suddenly shows himself to her upon their lands. She thinks he is going to attack her. Once she realizes he means her no harm. She starts to talk with him, she can't help but be drawn to him. Sebastian is the son of high ranking Vampyre coven, speaking to a human is forbidden, but he is drawn to the human. He can't help himself. They continue to see each other when he can get away, their feeling keep growing. They know that what they are doing is forbidden, but nothing will stop them They learn that each other has been promised to other people in marriage that they don't wan't to marry Kyra meets her future husband, she is repulsed by him. When he turns violent, she knows she will do whatever necessary to get away from him. When Sebastian shows up, she runs with him What follows leads to a series of events, neither of them could have expected. As their love grows, they must cover the people that want to separate them, deception and people they trust bring them down. They will do anything to be together from unexpected help, they might have a chance.
This is a very well written book, theses characters draw into their world and you can't wait to find out what happens. When the books ends, you want even more. There are steamy sections of this book that might make people uncomfortable but doesn't distract from the story at all.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’ve been looking for a good romance written by a man to see if they could get it write. Mind blown. Wow! Adom made me believe. I could feel the emotions and passions between Sebastian and Kyra. Deeply. The picture he painted was clear and unmistakable. I give this more than five stars.
I'm a sicker for a good vampire book, and this one is great! I love how all people turned vampire at the end of the 25th? century, and a few vampires turned back, giving us humans again. Romantic love is banned, as is mixing vampires and humans. So what happens of course..a vamp and a human fall in love..and that is the story. There is a lot more to it but that is the basis for the story.
The characters are developed and interesting. I loved the story, and the outcome. I can't wait to read the next one! I read this almost in one night, I fell asleep with about 40 pages left that I finished earlier. Just a great and engaging story. The world was well done and easy to pain the picture in my mind. Just a great book!
I won this book in a Goodreads first reads giveaway. I was not paid for my review in any way and all opinions are my own.
This book is fantastic, I loved reading it.. it kept me interested to the very end.. a wonderful exciting book . If you like vampires then you will be excited to read this book.
So sad. This was not done well at all. The insta love here was not bad, though. And that's how this started out very well for me, and quickly went off a cliff.
The author was clearly writing by the seat of his pants (as in with almost no plan/outline). He pantsered the crap out of this book and it did not go well. He so obviously wrote the endless (and frankly unwarranted) twists and worked out the causes and logic afterwards, and that was just...ugh. It takes you out of the story! Especially when the whole time he's TELLING us everything. I don't need every dumb twist explained extensively to me and neither do most people.
Not to mention some elements that I found disturbing and unnecessary. What an unpleasant mess this was. Authors don't need to plan out everything, but a vague idea helps keep things from feeling like a fevered nightmare. Just no. Not worth it at all.
To note that I feel kinda bad about this review after finding out the writer is a guy. So rare in this genre as far as I've seen. Keep going, Mr. Sample! Just... I dunno...think ahead a little bit.
Courting Moon by Adom Sample is a 3.5 star read. This story was about Vampire Sebastian who fell in love with a human woman, Kyra, but in the lands where they each live falling in love is forbidden. Both Sebastian and Kyra must fight their families and the ways of their lands to be together, along the way they must figure out who to trust and learn things about themselves that will shake up both their home lands if it was to be found out. I can’t honestly say if I liked this book or not I’m still trying to figure that out myself although I will say that I couldn’t put it down until I’d finished that last page, but that was more because I just need to find out what happened to Sebastian and Kyra. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this book.
Human and vampire association is strictly forbidden by the council of vampires for Kyra and Sebastian their love for each other could be the death of them both. It was a prejudice against races because no human or vampire should have those kind of feelings towards each other but their attraction and connection to each other was soul searing. Kyra and Sebastian had to fight everything and everyone to stay together but they both knew that it was meant to be between the two of them. I love vampire stories and this was a really good one, this story is about two people who looked past their race and were willing to make sacrifices to keep their love. This was a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Vampires! I swear 2020 has been the year of vampire revivals/stories so, while not published this year, Courting Moon is the perfect book to add to your collection of vampire romance stories. But, as you can probably guess, I’m such a sucker for vampire stories and this one fit in perfectly. I mean yes, it’s cheesy at times, but honestly doesn’t that make it all the better?
So this is your typical insta love between two lovers who were never meant to be. And if you’re a classic Romeo and Juliet lover or (dare I say it) a more modern Twilight lover there is an everlasting appeal to this type of story. And while it’s that classic tale of woe and angst this one still seemed fresh and new. I really enjoyed the story and it’s just one of those books you can quickly get swept up in and enjoy.
Now, I also have to say that this is the perfect book to read in audiobook format (but watch out where you’re listening to it because it can get *steamy*). Since this is a book that I read for fun (not that other books aren’t fun, but you know what I’m getting at), I was able to turn this audiobook on, sit back, relax, and multitask while still getting the story. Now, don’t get me wrong, me “multitasking” typically entails me setting up and preparing to multitask and then just becoming captivated by one thing. And this story was clearly that one thing. I just really took an immediate liking to this classic but new vampire story.
You can view my full review on my blog! I also post about a lot of different types of books!
This book had me intrigued from the very beginning. The more I read the more I became hooked, readers who like vampire romance will absolutely love this book. There's love, mystery and action throughout the book, I'm excited to see what comes next.
Kyra is human and Sebastian is a vampire. They live in two separate worlds; his is protected by a magic dome. They are both doomed to be wed to others. The two are not allowed to intermix because of what might occur..but only the old ones remember what happens when they fall in love. The two meet for nothing but talking and the joy of spending time together. They start falling in love against the rules and all odds. She does not want to become vampire…Sebastian marks her on the neck showing others she belongs to him. Finally, she allows him to take her blood and innocence. They are caught in his world…they are both threatened if they hook up again. They stay apart but at a high cost…when they reunite and run away what will happen? Will they survive? What is happening to Sebastian? What price will they pay for the love they feel? What of the curse? I want to read the next one! Great fast paced read will keep you on the edge of your seat…combined with a sweet romantic love that defies all rules! They embark on a journey that reveals the beginning of Kyra’s destiny that will make her queen. I received this book as a gift and am voluntarily leaving a review.
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also, this is a new author to me, and it won't be my last.
I enjoyed this story very much. Kyra is a sweet young human woman who meets Sebastian, who is a vampyre. The two kingdoms do not cohabitat. Human and vampyre are to never have any type of relationship. In fact, neither kingdom allows for romantic love. All marriages are either parents choosing or meeting at the age of 20 & deciding if they can be compatible. Unfortunately for Kyra & Sebastian they fall in love, causing so much trouble. So much happening and learning in this story. I look forward to reading the next. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
This book was a very different read for me. I don't usually go for the supernatural, but I was very surprised.
The story is set in the future where there are only humans and vampyres.
They live seperately and cannot cross the border lines.
The story is very political as well as romantic. There are lots of government misadventures going in. This makes the book more interesting because you never know what you are going to read next.
I feel for the characters they have forbidden love and will do anything to be together.
A great read, a total rollercoaster of emotions while reading this.
A split between dystopian and paranormal it is an enjoyable Romeo and Juliet brought to you in the future. Similar to Twilight it had some rough story areas but was well written enough to overcome these for an intriguing tale
A fascinating world the author has created with humans and vampires living separate lives, so of course, two fall into a forbidden love. Somewhat predictable, but it does keep your interest.
I have loved all vampire books this one is somewhat different but it's really good I have already got the 2nd and 3rd book so let me read I know this love story is not going to disappoint me so read the book it is very good
I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this book but I ended up finding it a great set up for the series. There are parts that drag a bit but the set up of the characters and questions to be answered are great. I look forward to the next book.
Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction Blog A book is always the sum of all parts, so I will try to give a review for every part of the book and put it together afterwards. The Cover: The cover is honestly not my thing. If I would have gotten the cover only, to decide whether or not I want to review this book, I would have declined. It doesn’t look professional or intriguing and, to be honest, I would have expected a book consisting only of smutty scenes and – again – declined reading this one. Thankfully I didn’t see the cover till I had to write my review. The Blurb: That was what made me want to read this book. It promised angst, romance, love, all of this and more. A secret that had to be unraveled. The secret why interracial relationships were/are prohibited. Really good blurb. The book itself: The plot promised interesting shenanigans and in the beginning I was hooked. Unfortunately that changed after about one third of the book was over, because I felt like history repeated itself. In my opinion about half the book could have been cut out, because the actions were not important or necessary for the plot to go on. The smutty scenes were not hot, they left me with a sleazy feeling, and I admit, I skipped over most of them, even more so when they became more and more and more and the plot was pushed in the back to favor the outrageous relationship life of the two main characters. The bad guy was unbelievable. His character was more like a caricature, not like someone who could be taken seriously. It seemed for me that the author needed someone so easily dismissable that he took all prejudices toward bad guys and put them together. The writing style was repetitive as well and I stumbled about the same wording over and over, so I found myself bored and almost put the book aside. The “solution” was too easy. It was just *poof* solution, after that looooooooooooooooooooooong build up I expected something better, something bigger and maybe that at least some of the important questions were answered, but they weren’t, which annoyed me to no end. All in all, it was not my book, even though the idea was good, but maybe it is for someone else.
ONE UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE!!! Crash and burn! Atom hits pay dirt blasting this bad boy into a tailspin thrusting this baby forward with staggering results. An arresting storyline and riveting plot reveal an abundance of twists and turns that thrusts this baby to life beautifully. A swirling throng of vexing contingents and a bevy of surprising mishaps catapults those swirling emotions bursting into play. The drama, intrigue, danger and suspense fuse this bad boy together piece by piece. Throw in determination, revelations and plenty of heat and you have one thrilling mix that blows this bad boy wide open. Hurdling the trials and tribulations around every sharp corner and sleek lines bursts those swirling emotions into play for one incredible experience. The dynamics and presentation in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into the web so deep you feel everything the characters feel one page at a time. The characters personalities are authentic, genuine and realistic with depth and qualities that transform and blend smoothly. The scenes are so vividly detailed and descriptive its paints a fantastic backdrop. Amazing job Atom, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
This was a really great book. I loved the storyline and found it well written. The characters are enjoyable and well written as well. A great start to the series and I love the cover. I recommend reading.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The writing wasn't great, and the character development was practically non-existent, but the story was good - it kept me wanting to know how they were going to unscrew up. It was good for a cliche paranormal romance, and I really enjoyed it as a story.
