This was an incredible book by the creation of R.S. Lively,,,,,
Whitley Pope is a 22 year old waitress at a place called Tops' Diner,,,, a guy named Jefferson Tompkins has owned it for many years and he's always been like a grandfather to Whit,,, he has always called Whitley "Red" not because of her red hair, but because of how red her face gets,,,, Whitley has a best friend, Charlise "Charlie" Williams who is also her roommate ,,,, they live in San Francisco and Whitley has recently been told by Tops that he has cancer and he is in process of finding someone to buy the diner so he has money and time for his procedures,,,,, Whitley has 2 older brothers, Anthony and Kyle, she is the youngest and her brother's are very protective of her and they will really flip their lids if they knew how she was planning on giving someone older, rich and a friend of Anthony's, her virginity,,,,,
Logan Stone is a 29 year old very rich CEO of Stone Enterprises,,,, his mother is a big drinker now that his father has been dead from a car accident,,,, he has a sister named Kate and she has had a history of drug abuse and criminal complaints ,,,, he is a man who can have any female he wants and just recently he was in Tops' Diner with a business partner going in to negotiate the terms of Tops' deal when he comes across the most brash red head waitress that he simply cannot take his eyes off and he cannot stop thinking about how she would feel in his arns,,, he has to have this woman, but how do you ask out a woman whose skin seems to crawl at the mention of his name,,,, but he has no problem, he will find a way to get the girl,,,,
This was a very good book that I simply didn't want it to end,,,, the 2 characters have very different thoughts of each other, as Logan really wants to go out with Whitley, and Whitley cannot stand the man that she sees as taking the diner away from Tops,,,, but once these 2 get on the same page, their chemistry is off the charts,,,, action, adventure and lots of steam, and a few surprises along the way,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to everyone,,,,, I got this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review,,,,,
