The alliance holds strong after the last attack, but bad blood threatens to jeopardize the treaty and test the bonds formed between the River Run and Dark Shadow packs. Tyler never meant for one night of fun to turn into a secret relationship, yet he can’t… won’t give Regan up, even if it means lying to his alpha or leaving the pack that is his home. His family. Regan felt the spark between her and Tyler from the start. He woke her from a half-life, pulling her from the darkness of her past, which threatens to extinguish the love between them before it has a chance to begin. Lines are being blurred, allegiances tested, and as hearts break and tears fall, will Tyler and Regan’s love bring them all together, or be a step too far and destroy the packs for good?
Rachel M. Raithby started her writing career in 2013 and hasn’t looked back. She draws her inspiration from the many places she has lived and traveled, as well as from her love of the paranormal and thriller movies. She can often be found hiding out with a good book or writing more fast-paced and thrilling stories where love always conquers all. A Brit who has lived in many places, she now resides in a small town in New Zealand, with her dog, three cats and four children.
I absolutely love this series, Rachel Raithby never fails to disappoint, transporting you fully into wolf pack life.
This is the 4th in this fantastic series, this one tells Regan and Tylers story, I felt every fibre of their turmoil over whether they can truly be together. This author has an amazing way of integrating the previous characters from this series into each story, weaving a perfect web within their community.
An easy 5 stars for me, once again I didn't want this book to end, a must read for any shifter fans.
Lost Wolf is the fourth book in the New Dawn series, and we not only have a new couple, but we go back and re-meet the others too. The start of this book runs concurrently with a couple of the others, so you get to see Tyler and Regan in action that you 'missed' last time.
Regan hasn't had it easy, and it is her story to tell so I won't even try. Needless to say, Tyler is the one who helps her to live again, although being Dark Shadow, that poses a problem all of its own. Not only that, but Kat and Bass are having their own problems, brought about by Castor still trying to ruin their lives. No one said being a shifter was easy.
There is so much in this book - from meeting new characters, to new romance, to building plans, to the world ending... it's all there. And without a single editing or grammatical error that I noticed. The storyline flowed smoothly, and with the chapter headings, you always knew when you were. I have thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series, and I can't wait to see where we go from here. Absolutely recommended by me.

With superb writing, world creating, and character development, every single time I pick up a book in this series, I’m immediately reminded why YA/NA PNR is such a kickarse genre. The author does this genre absolute justice. Not only does she ensure the main plot is tight and gripping, but the series plot continues to be well-woven into Ty and Regan’s story.
For so many points of views and characters, the author successfully ensures each voice is unique and original. I LOVED every single moment.
What an amazing add to an outstanding series! I really enjoyed every minute of this book! Lots of action and plenty of romance. We get to see all of the past characters, and their story lines all intertwine seamlessly. I cannot wait for the next book!!
I have been enjoying this series! It’s not the best written series out there, but it’s good if you want a fun easy read about wolf shifters.
*some spoilers below*
Things I enjoyed: -Tyler and Regan. As always, there is an obstacle that the couple needs to overcome in order to be together, but I liked this one! And it definitely shows that not everyone in both packs is happy about the alliance. -Regan deciding to put her happiness above her parents. It’s okay to cut family out if they are toxic. -I like that Kat is a very supportive friend and does what she can for other people. -We get introduced to more people in both packs. -We still get to see a lot of Bass.
Things I didn’t like: -Books 2-4 overlap in time. -I am not the biggest Kat fan. She’s not the main character in this book, but she’s still in it a lot. I hate how she always does whatever she wants. It’s very selfish. She seems to be getting a LITTLE better, but she still has a long way to go. -Kat being upset with how Bill is handled. The guy literally tries to kidnap and murder her, yet she’s mad when her mate tortures Bill a little. After everything that Bill has done and all the lives he’s put in danger, I’m totally on Bass’s side. -I wish there was more Toby. -People can now be changed into a shifter, not just born into it. I felt like Raithby was changing the rules of her world on us by having some random kid suddenly get changed when that has never happened before.
Lost Wolf is the best book in the series. Rachel M. Raithby has developed fantastic characters and a world that is really entertaining to read. I am glad I had the opportunity to read these books. They have been a great distraction from the world around me.
I think this is my favorite couple so far, with the most realistic relationship. This plot kept me glued to the pages, and I read this in one sitting.
A series that continues to get better, with realistic characters and a really awesome plot. I recommend checking it out!

Very Enjoyable. I volunteered to read this book for United Indie Book Blog. Lost Wolf by Rachel M. Raithby. This book is first I read by this author. I loved the writing character development. What an amazing add to an outstanding series! I really enjoyed every minute of this book! I can't wait for the next book! Great job!!
This book was beautifully written, the storyline to the ending. Regan and Tyler's relationship has a lot of hurdles in the way so it's not an easy romance but the connection between the pair is too much to ignore, Tyler awakened Regan’s true nature, her recent past had caused her to change, to subdue her dominant nature, for the sake of her parents.
Zachary is a new and interesting character, the introduction of a bitten wolf into the pack brings in a new element and I will look forward to getting to know his character
Kat and Bass have to deal with a few remaining issues from the attack, which had me nervously turning the pages. In this book, there are a lot of emotional situations that are mentioned, i myself drew my current circumstances to these, highlighted many a passage that I felt called out to me as a reminder to carry on with the fight we are currently facing. I will have to wait for the next book, but I think I will be rereading the series soon. Oh how I hate when a series I love is coming to an 🔚
I thought at the start of this book it was same story ( it was 3rd in series i'd read) different names , it happens a lot but i was so wrong , i need to grovel on bended knee because once this book got going it was AMAZING . Regans parents even though they were grieving should of been kicked into shape by their Alpha a long time ago , he allowed them to slowly destroy the only child they had left & if Tyler hadn't come along she would of died a little bit every day . Not sure i liked Tyler at first , thought he was a bit cocky but he grew on me more & more , even willing to leave all he loved & held dear to save Regan . This book will take you on one heck of an emotional ride where everything that is supposed to be pulling packs together almost tears things apart , loving this series .
I've been waiting forever for this book to arrive and now I cannot wait for the next. This is a captivating series and one I would highly recommend. It only gets 4 stars out of five because there are quite a few spelling errors which make the reading a little frustrating on some occasions. When all is said and done I love this book and the New Dawn series!
LOVE this series. Thank you Rachel! Into the 5th. :) She is so good at focusing on each character. You become part of their pack. Any author than bring me to tears when reading... Well you got me
