Not in the sense of souls colliding or even stars aligning, but in a real-life, totally her fault, bumpers-crunching, frames-bending, airbags-deploying crash.
Haley. Oh Haley.
Why was she such a mess?
And why did she have to be such a mess when it involved really expensive cars and really handsome men? She was an emergency room nurse. She was supposed to have it all together, to be cool under pressure, to be--
Not turned into a complete puddle of mush when it came to the man whose car she'd crunched.
But Sam was so . . . so nice and sweet and gorgeous and he made Haley's brain just completely poof out of her skull. But Sam was also her past.
Or rather, her sister's past.
She couldn't be infatuated with the man who'd broken her sister's heart. She couldn't want him. It didn't matter that a decade had passed. Plus, Sam had never noticed her before. Haley was the littlesister, the annoying tagalong. Sam wasn't attracted to her and he neverwould be.
But what if that colliding of bumpers had finally knocked some sense into him?
What if he decided Haley wasn't the annoying little sister anymore? And what if she gave into the temptation of all her long held fantasies?
Worse, what was Haley going to do if her sister found out?

Collision at Roosevelt Ranch is book 3 in this series by author Elise Faber. This is just as fresh in book 3 as it was in book 1. Haley and Sam are the main characters in this story. They haven't seen each other in years. Sam used to date Haley's older sister in college but that didn't end well . Haley totally crushed on Sam and had the biggest childhood crush on him. Haley has been in love with Sam since she was a teenager. Sam never took notice but I'm sure others did until they no longer had reason to come into contact with one another. Fast forward years later and thanks to a accident, these two are back in each other's lives again. They literally have crashed back into each other's lives again and the chemistry that flashes up between them is sensational. But will past hurts, history, self-doubts, and feelings come between them and the budding new relationship that is rising between Sam and Haley ? Will they or will they overcome the problems from the past and fight for their future and let their love story move forward so their HEA can happen. This story is full of feels, 2nd chance romance, action, forgiveness , healing, chemistry, passion, happiness and love. Awesome read with great characters.
Collision at Roosevelt Ranch is the third book in the Roosevelt Ranch series, and we see Haley and Sam in more detail. Although they have both played parts in the two prior books, I don't think it is absolutely necessary to have read those two. I would still recommend it, just so you get the most out of each story, but they also standalone.
Haley has just finished her shift at the hospital, and is exhausted. Sam has just finished his day, and is exhausted. Are you seeing a link here yet? Due to wildlife, they have an accident and Sam realises just how much of a woman Haley now is. For her part, Haley has always crushed on Sam, but he was involved with her sister, so there's no way anything can happen... is there?
I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of emotion, of taking the blame for something you haven't done just because it's easier, for always feeling second-best but then realising that the other person has the same doubts as you.
This story is an excellent addition to the series, and if I was allowed half-stars, it would be four and a half. Best one of the series so far and highly recommended by me.

Haley was on her way home after a difficult shift at the hospital where she worked when an attempt to avoid a deer resulted in the car behind her not being able to avoid her car. The last person she wanted to see looking at her from the other side of the window was her high school crush and her sister’s ex-boyfriend Sam.
Sam is the vet in town, and once he finds out her ankle is broken he takes it upon himself to nurse her back to health. As they spend time together the chemistry between them ignites but will the baggage from the past destroy their future?
This is the first story I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. It is a small town romance with just the right amount of emotion that it doesn’t overtake the story but rather enhances it and it will have you believing that the collision may have been fate rather than an accident.
Though I have not read the other books in the series, I enjoyed reading Collision at Roosevelt Ranch by Elise Faber and look forward to reading the other books in the series. This was a second chance romance full of obstacles, but a couple you can cheer for.
A deer, a collision and her sister’s ex do not mix well, as Haley is about to find out. But when they are in an accident and Sam offers to help, she can’t help but remember the huge crush she has always had on him. But as her sisters ex, she needs to stay away, right? Yet now he sees the woman she has become; can he stay away? This was an enjoyable read with very likeable characters and a sweet romance.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog. Happy reading.
Is it possible to meet the right person at the wrong time? Life tends to be full of surprises and when the heart teams up with fate is when crazy becomes the perfect fit for forever. Faber gives stirs up both the emotional and hypothetical with Collision at Roosevelt Ranch. Haley and Sam are match made of disaster, but pure heaven for the heart.
There is something about a small town romance that I love so much and Collision offered up all the small town feels. This is the first book I've read by Elise Faber, which means this is also the first book in the Roosevelt Ranch series I've read as well. I had no problem reading this as a standalone, but I also look forward to reading more from Elise and meeting more characters from this series.
Haley thought she was going to die the night a deer jumped in front of her car. The SUV following behind her didn't have quite enough time to stop before slamming into her car, but given the remote location of her house it was lucky for Haley that Sam was there to call in help. Or perhaps unlucky given that it was Sam that collided with her car? Hum... Haley definately considers it unlucky when it is Sam who peers into her drivers side window after being struck. She would have prefered death by deer than having her high school crush see her wounded along the side of the road.
Sam feels awful for causing the wreck. Technically it was a deer, but Haley has a broken ankle, a concussion, and she lives alone. Not the best case to take care of oneself. He refuses to leave until she's better, no matter how stubborn she's being in taking his help. He may never have noticed her when she was a tag-a-long years ago, but he can't help but notice her now that she's all grown up. He's only there to help her get back on her feet, but something else is pulling at him to make him stay.
Can the past, living in a small town, ever be erased? Could Haley and Sam ever start something new?
Elise Faber has surely grabbed my attention with this series. I will be sure to continue to the next book. She has taken a story and showed how deep down feelings can be compressed and when you least expect them to show, they do and you never know how it is going to play out. She has me in love with Haley and Sam, and the way she tells their story through the unfortunate circumstances they face. From the start of them crossing paths to way they carry out their friendship. Some times something can be right in front of your face, but you are unable to see it because someone or something else has caused you to view it their way, which isn’t really what it may be. I know that there is more to come of them and the other characters in the town. You will enjoy this if you understand how someone or something close to you can love you but cause you to be blinded to the truth at the same time. Don’t hesitate to delve into this book and enjoy all Elise has to offer, you won’t be disappointed.
This was a sweet light read about second chances at love. Sam and Haley knew each other from years ago, years ago as in Sam used to be engaged to Haley's sister Maggie. Of course Haley had a crush on Sam at the time but he never knew and always treated her like a sister. Fact forward and the two of them are back in their small home town. A deer and a car crash bring them back into each other's lives. I liked these two and I liked them for each other. They each have a bit of baggage but feelings start to build and try to develop until an obstacle drops down in from of them in the form of Haley's sister. I have to say, I originally did not like her. But she ended up redeeming herself. I'm glad because Haley and Sam not being together was just not happening. I haven't read the first two books in this series but I didn't have any issues following along. It just flowed smoothly. I'm glad these two got their HEA. I'd love a bit more about their future but hey. Baggers can't be choosers. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
This is the second book I've read by Elise Faber and I'm loving her words!
I had no idea that Collision at Roosevelt Ranch was part of a standalone series. Now, I can't wait to go back and read the first two books! Haley and Sam were very enjoyable characters to read about. I made an instant connection with the two of them and before I knew it, I'd devoured the story in one evening. Small-town romances centered around second chances are some of my favorites and it's one of the reasons I loved it so much. Faber didn't fill the story with too much detail, rather, she turned the story over to the characters and let them see where it lead them. Sam and Haley are just like people you know in the real world and you can't help but to want them together.
Although it was short and sweet, I can't wait to read the next installment.
Collision at Roosevelt Ranch is the third book in this series. I must say this series just keeps getting better. You will be pulled in from the very beginning and you start to wonder if the wildlife is trying to play matchmaker in this one. Sam and Haley you meet a little here and there throughout book 2 so you have a little bit of a head start to who they are if you've started this series already. That being said you don't need to because their story is just getting started. Haley has been in love with Sam since she was a teenager. Sam may or may not of noticed but her sister sure did. Accidents happen when you least expect it and bring Sam and Haley closer together. You feel the sparks between them. You'll feel for Sam when the truth comes out. Watching them come together is lovely and almost magical. You must read this one. I'm so looking forward to more of this addicting series.
This is the third book in the series but it’s the only one I have read, I don’t feel as if I missed out but I will go back and read the series from the beginning. This was a sweet, fun, light hearted read, that I read in one sitting.
The story follows Haley and Sam, fate brings them back together when a deer jumps in front of Haley’s car and Sam’s SUV hits her from behind. Sam was Haley’s sisters childhood boyfriend which Haley always had a crush on, now Sam is noticing just how grown up she is and Hayley is still drawn to Sam. The path to their happy ever after is not smooth with obstacles in the way for them to overcome, I loved both characters and they were a perfect fit for each other. I enjoyed this book, can’t wait to read the previous ones.

Haley has had a thing for Sam since she was a teenager, but he was her older sister's boyfriend, so he was off limits. And even when they broke up, he was still off limits because of girl code. Years later, Sam literally bumps into Hayley's car, which causes some injuries, and they spend some time together, which you already know will get complicated, especially since they have some serious chemistry. AND Hayley's sister doesn't appreciate it either. So yeah, this delightful small town story had some serious drama, angst, drama again, a few f-bomb worthy twists, heat, and dare I say it again?! Drama! Oh, but there was also a ton of laughter which I loved, as there seemed to be a rogue deer on the loose! Sam & Hayley were perfect for each other, but will they be able to be together?! You'll have to one click this sweet story to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This was a really good book and I enjoyed reading about Sam and Haley. The author did a great job of creating angst in the form that Sam is Haley's old childhood crush and she always saw him because has dating her sister *GASP*!
Sam and Haley were great characters and the author portrayed them to be extremely real with faults and all for both of them. This books flowed smoothly and I enjoyed the pace and the dry humor that was included. I really enjoyed the read and I believe that you dear reader will too!
This was my first book by Elise Faber, but it definitely will not be my last! :)
PS: I received this book for free but am voluntarily reviewing it!
Haley and Sam literally bump into each other after not seeing each other for years. Sam was Haley’s teenage crush and also her sisters boyfriend. There is a chemistry between them but can their history and feelings of being unworthy due to past relationship allow them to move forward with each other . I enjoyed this book, read in one evening so not mega long, a small town romance with good characters, would be happy to read about other characters in this town. I was however a bit disappointed that the epilogue wasn’t about them and instead actually the people who will be hoping for love in the next book.
The more books I read by this author, the further I slip away from reality. At first it seemed quirky and funny, and then it just felt more and more sloppy. In the first few chapters the heroine (a very loose term, as she was more heroic and actually interesting piece of human being in the last book) has eyes brown as mud and then crystal clear blue eyes, like wtf. And that sloppy writing continues, that even if there are not continuity issues, it just feels like recycled material. Plus wrong character names - like Sam/Jullian in the last few chapters. Very disappointed in this book, the premise was ok and writing even funny in places, so I'm even more disappointed by it.
Collision at Roosevelt Ranch by Elise Faber is book three in the series od standalones. The previous books are Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch and Heartbreak at Roosevelt Ranch. Collision at Roosevelt Ranch is Haley and Sam's story. Haley is a nurse, back home in her small home town and has still a crush on her sister's ex-boyfriend. When karma decides to put them together, things are about to get interesting. Sam is the towns veterinarian and he really likes Haley. Collision is a sweet small town romance, a standalone in the series.
**** 4 Collision Stars**** This is my first read by Elisa Faber and it was a good start. This book flows really well and the story-line is good I just felt like something was missing from the story. Haley and Sam have some history; Sam is Haley ex-boyfriend and her crush. Fast forward: Haley and Sam have moved back home and things get crazy when the see each other after all this time. Can these two find happiness with no judgment? Will the deer’s stop jumping in front on moving vehicles? Will secrets ruin everything for them?
This is the first book in this series I’ve read and I really enjoyed it! It was small town romance at its best! I loved Haley and Sam! They were perfect for each other! Haley had a crush on Sam since she was in middle school, but he was off limits because he dated her sister. They’re all grown up and they want each other. Will they be able to overcome their situation and be happy together? Can love overcome anything? I loved this story! I’m going to go back and read the first two books! If you like a great small town romance you should read Collision at Roosevelt Ranch! You’ll love it too!
This story is an interesting. Sam and Haley are good characters and have known each other all their lives. The problem with the book is there are a lot of grammar errors, which really took away from the reading and then the wrong names were used. EX: Sam was unconscious and Julian went to help him - but Sam grabbed the neck brace and secured it around his neck. Then the Epilogue is about the next book- when it should close out the story of Sam and Haley. The reason this received 4 stars and not 3 is because of the Deer scenes - I can totally relate to that.
Haley and Sam have known each other most of their lives. Sam used to date Haley's sister and Haley had the biggest crush on him. Now years later they are both back in their hometown and both single. When Sam crashes into Haley's car and then helps her recover will those feelings she had resurface and will Sam see her a the woman she has become?
Cute story, I haven't read the other books in the series but look forward to going back and reading them.
This book was a first for me from Elise Faber. It will not be the last. I now feel like I need and want to go back and read the first two in this series. Haley has had a crush on Sam since she was in middle school but he was always off limits because he dated her sister for so long. Sam never really saw Haley until he crashed into her one night. These two together are so good. Sam is sweet and gentle with Haley. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading many more by Elise!
I really enjoyed this clever and emotional romance. The story line is interesting and grabbed and held my attention. I liked the characters and thought they had great chemistry. The small town setting was very appealing to me because I think this type of setting adds so much charm and interest to a book. I felt that Haley and Sam's romance was quite delightful. This is my independent, impartial review.
Haley and Sam’s story is a her high school crush, second chance, small town romance. These character and the storyline are great. Loved the wit in the stories especially concerning the deer that are causing havoc along the road to both of Sam’s and Haley’s houses. Loved the depth of the characters that were both dealing with past relationship hurts as well as their own issues with relationships. HEA guaranteed!
I'm so in love with Sam. This book is sweet, sexy and full of emotion. Both he and Haley deserve to find love since they were both unlucky in the past. Due to an accident, they end up spending more time together and we learn of their sort of rocky past. Probably my favorite book in the series so far.
Now that I know about the Roosevelt Ranch series, I have to read them all! I enjoyed watching the ups and downs of Haley and Sam’s relationship. This was a well written and entertaining book. The secondary characters were interesting enough that it made me investigate the rest of the series. Now I want to know each of their stories.
4 STARS FOR COLLISION AT ROOSEVELT RANCH!! Wow, what a fun sweet story that kept me flipping pages. Sam and Hailey have issues to work through with family and trust issues. I enjoyed this journey and Roosevelt Ranch.....I can't wait for the next book.
Beatufiul and emotional. I loved this story. It was sweet and full of heart and I loved the small town feels. This was my first story from Elise Faber and it definitely will not be my last. I look forward to reading more from her.
