I love this series of book. A classical example of an English textbook. While it maybe somewhat outdated, it still provides some valuable lessons about grammar and vocabulary with its hilarious stories, full of English humour. I have a version of this book, from the 80s and my father used to study English with it then he gave it to me. It is my first English textbook and it's never failed to amuse me. I still read it from time to time (For the good laughs of course, I am too advanced for the book now). I am now a certified ESL teacher and I am grateful that I get to know this book. Try it! It is a gem.
