Alice has had her own "moon dream," in which she was the beautiful Mokuren. After their home star system was destroyed, they contracted an incurable disease and quickly died, one by one. That's why they're all about the same age.

This is where the story really starts getting good, just like in the anime. The identities of the reborn Shion & Shukaido are finally revealed, while Alice begins to doubt (reject, really) her identity as the reborn Mokuren; Rin's actions are finally explained, as are his erratic behavior and startling powers, and the true nature of what befell the alien scientists is revealed. Surprises galore as children and teenagers struggle to deal with adult problems from lives they're only now discovering they once lived.
It's worth noting as well that many questions left completely unanswered (and bafflingly so!) in the anime are answered here. It's almost as though the writers for the anime were so concerned with squeezing as many important scenes into the series as possible that they left out much of the substance... Rin's obsession with the Tokyo Tower is explained, the reasons behind Rin & Haruhiko's appearances are explained, and Shukaido's motivation is finally revealed!

Este es el volumen del personaje de Rin. Mientras que el resto continúan poco a poco recordando sus vidas anteriores, finalmente Rin se desvela como esa mezcla entre inocente niño de ocho años y temible villano. Además, terminamos por conocer las identidades de todos los tripulantes de la base lunar y lo que realmente sucedió, dándole una dimensión más trágica, si cabe, al camino que pasaron durante su tiempo en el espacio.
La historia se va complicando y Saki Hiwatari va demostrando que aprende rápido, el dibujo mejora e incluso es capaz de dar una inusitada fuerza a la escena clave de este tomo 3.

Brutal revelation in this one. Amazing series. I can appreciated it even more when re-reading it after many years. One of my favourite manga series of all time.

I do not know if I can finis this series-I am getting so confused as to who is who, in their past lives on the moon. Rin-kun is up to no good-I have figured out that much for now. Creepy lying kid.

Love this manga! I watched the anime first, and vol.3 continues the story arc which the anime covered, with a few additional details.

Things heat up in this volume! So much is revealed and it is juicy!
