Seven young people, with alien past lives, struggle with the question of whether the woes of the present must be endured for the promise of a better future or to atone for past wrongs.
I cannot rate it any higher because I did struggle picking it up and finding myself immersed in the story. I must confess: a) this is the first book I'd read in the series, and even though I didn't feel I wasn't understanding a thing, I caught myself being too self-conscious of how in-media res this story is if picked from vol 13.; b) my mind simply interprets Asian culture in French terms as if I was to compare pears with apples, very incompatible.
What (Who, rather) would make it worth a 3rd star would be M. Bun (character); two very wholesome moments (the one where he's sitting with certain principle character reminded me of Forrest Gump).
Y finalmente parece que llega el momento de que Alice también recuerde su vida pasada como Mokuren. Si está a la altura de la historia de Rin/Shion, puede ser muy bueno.
