Apprécier: Célébrer Les Gens, Inspirer L'Excellence

Rate this book

I was inspired by this book because I saw the author present on it at this fall's Gartner conference. I bought books for my entire team to read and had a book club discussion to create a culture of appreciation. When my youngest employee left today to take a job with the Department's Secretary and handed me a thank you note, saying she learned how special it felt to get a hand-written thank you note from me - I was truly inspired by the power of personalizing a THANK YOU!!

Recognize and appreciate. Intuitive research, but how many organizations are listening? If you are a leader, check out this book. It’s a quick read.

It states little beyond the obvious, but might serve well as a checklist

Was a bit repetitive for me.

Summary- Appreciate intentionally and frequently and value and encourage effort.

People will leave when they don't feel appreciated.
