Identity Stunt

Rate this book
After being falsely outed as a vigilante, a professional stuntman must battle to reclaim his identity by circumventing the police, outsmarting bionically-enhanced mercenaries, and rescuing his family from the clutches of a notorious madman. Capturing the bombastic tones and dialogue of '80s and '90s action films, Identity Stunt is a relentless odyssey featuring complex characters, a touch of romance, and a fistful of masked lunatics.

Knockaround good times

Identity Stunt is a love letter written to every full tilt action movie that came out of the 80’ & 90’s, even... especially... the direct to video flicks. It’s full of awesome Easter Eggs (watch for the Seinfeld cast) & one liners that made me pull out Martial Law for a viewing- not the Sammo TV show that spun off of Walker, Texas Ranger, but the flick that failed to launch Steve McQueen’s kid to stardom but did bring Cynthia Rothrock to American action cinema.

Some sharp writing keeps the story rolling, & the artwork brings dynamic action to the page. I was a fan when I read the series in single issue installments, but it reads better straight through from start to finish.
