Once upon a time, Kristina Knight spent her days running from car crash to fire to meetings with local police--no, she wasn't a troublemaker, she was a journalist. Her career took her all over the United States, writing about everything from a serial killer's capture to the National Finals Rodeo. Along the way she found her very own Knight in Shining Cowboy Boots and an abiding love for romance novels. Kristina writes contemporary romance with a smattering of sass, sex and (of course) drama, and she loves hearing from readers. And just like the characters from her favorite books, she's living her own happily ever after.

Another Cute Story in this Series!

This was a cute story of crazy expectations and poor self worth, with a sweet bit of romance mixed in.
I've enjoyed reading all the books in this collection of Resort to Romance Series.
Each one is a delight to read!
This one was just as sweet as the others. I had fun reading about Aster and Ethan and all their issues. There were some fun moments with yummy cake stuff and crazy wild adventures.
Once again Ginny and Goldie bring humor and wisdom to the story. Those two are quite a pair!
I recommend you pick this book up for another fun adventure in Joy Island.

3.5 Stars I really liked this story. Aster and Ethan each needed to learn how to step out of their comfort zones. Aster, to ask for what she wants instead of always following other people's plans. Ethan, to relax and let things that aren't on the plan happen.
I liked how their story worked out.

Why the lower rating? Aster's fear of heights was a big deal yet she was fine in the helicopter on her way to the island. A few editing errors, missing words, and extra words caused me to stop and re-read, taking me out of the story. I also felt this authors version of Ginny and Goldie was not quite in line with other books in the series.

Was unsure about this couple at the start both with clashing agendas about love n life yet i enjoyed their journey at their beginning as a couple would be curious about where they r in a year or five.

I enjoyed reading this book. The teasers at the end of the previous book pulled me in, so I ordered it :-)
