CULTURE SHOCK

I can only imagine how difficult it is to leave behind the freedom's we take for granted in Westen Society and step into a world where draconian laws are the norm. In 'Chasing Dreams' that is exactly what happens.

Meg searches for her ancestry and questions her own identity, when traveling through Iran. Tired of her everyday life, she longs for adventure, but bites off way more than she can chew when she is thrown into a situation that is not only dangerous to her independence, but dangerous to her life!

She discovers love in the unlikeliest of locations, and must adapt to the diversity of race and culture in the process. If only she can survive it!

A great read after you recover from the initial shock of betrayal. The main character handles the problem's hurled at her with resilience and good humour. The author has smoothed the terrifying aspects of her heroine's circumstances by highlighting the love story, and her search for her family in an otherwise difficult setting.
