oh my goodness, such an awesome book! it explains so much from an honest perspective of a widowed wife. one of her stories is especially sweet.

the author's husband always gave her the end pieces of the bread for toast. this always disgusted the author because she assumed that her husband was giving her the bad pieces. after many, many years of getting the "ends," the author finally said something to her husband. Turns out, he thought the best pieces were the end pieces so he was trying to give her the best part for all those years.

okay, so i didn't tell it as well. but this book is all about communication in marriage and i highly, highly recommend it. really one of the best marriage books i've read.
