Pat and Karen Schatzline came face to face with fear. They had to battle not only for Karen’s health but also for the peace of their home. But in the midst of their pain Karen heard God ask her a Do you trust Me? The Schatzlines were fearful. Yet through their journey the Lord taught them how to be courageous in spite of the fear.

"Know this: your victory is on the other side of the storm. The roar the enemy is afraid of is the roar God placed inside of you to speak to the storm. Your storm must respond to the roar of the Spirit inside of you. God is speaking to you to rise up, stand, and roar His Word!" (Pat & Karen Schatzline, Restore the Roar)
Roar once again! What does it mean to roar? It means to take hold of the Word of God and proclaim it, hold to it, embrace it, defeat the enemy with it. We are not called to be silent, but to be courageous. He says, "Elie Wiesel rose up. This famous Holocaust survivor said, 'We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.' Martin Luther King Jr. said our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter! It is your time to wake up! This is your moment!"
In this book he shares the Biblical account of Esther and how she was chosen to be the king's wife, but the king did not know she was Jewish; however, the king had an evil advisor named Haman. Haman did not like the fact that the Jews did not bow down to him as he walked the streets; therefore, he devised a plan to exterminate the Jews. Long story short, Esther had to approach the king and put aside her fears in order to save herself and her people. She faced the fear of death and approached the king, and the king extended the scepter. Esther was able to tell the king all of Haman's plans to exterminate the Jews and the king had Haman exterminated in the like manner he was planning. The wicked (twisted) will fall in the traps they have laid for you! The plans of your enemies will backfire on them! What would have happened if Esther did not face her fear? She would have been killed along with her family. This is how the enemy wants us: to walk in fear, so that we are paralyzed; however, if we keep our eyes on Jesus, His Word, and hold to the promises of God, and roar at our fear, we will escape the storms of life.
This book is authored by both husband and wife. I enjoyed both of their stories on overcoming different fears in their lives. The wife shares of her battle with cancer and how when she was delivered and now ministers to others. She shares how God can use the most least likely candidates to make dramatic impacts on this world. You may be God's secret weapon and you don't know it!
This book will show you how to roar like the Lion of the Tribe of Judah-Jesus Christ! and defeat the spirit of fear, and walk into your destiny. Amen.
