The aliens didn’t invade Earth as depicted in the movies - they were smarter than that.
Doctor Helen Peters is a woman of science and medicine, and it’s not until she’s kidnapped by an alien that she discovers the truth about the creatures that have been living undetected on Earth for centuries.
Viktor was a prince on his home planet, and since crash-landing on Earth, has dedicated his life to protecting his colony’s secrets. He hates humans. Except a certain red-headed doctor has caused him to question everything he knew about inter-species relationships. He stole her away from her people, but she may steal something of her own in return – his heart.
Return to the Invasive Species Control Unit, where defeating the aliens should be their hardest mission, but trying not to fall in love with them is proving trickier.
I always dreamed of being an author and as an 80's child was inspired by the likes of Kathleen Turner in Romancing the Stone and Angela Lansbury in Murder, She Wrote (so much so that when I was 10, I pestered my parents for a typewriter which I used to carry around in case inspiration struck -thank goodness for the invention of lighter writing tools).
I love reading as much as I love writing, and never thought I'd make the switch to e-books but have to admit that I've been converted by their ease of access and portability. I love discovering a new author and have an obsession with reading their books in publication date order. I especially like romantic thrillers and urban fantasy novels.
I live in Essex, England and have two children. I love all things Superhero and think "Geek is Chic"

So I really enjoyed book 1 and then I realized book two was an entirely different couple, while we still have tons of questions about Blake and Carson and nothing has been solved and though it is occasionally from their point of view it just seems like this took a step off the storyline to introduce new MCs and keep things "fresh". When in reality it would have been better to continue the Blake and Carson MC storyline. I likely won't continue this series, especially since each book does the same thing (new MCs) and that will just annoy me.
