60 books689 followersI am a happily married mother of three (two boys and one girl). I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I’ve started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it. She always supported me and writing is something I’ve always enjoyed doing. As long as I enjoy it, I’ll continue to do it. I’ve learned already that I can’t please everyone. Not all reviews will be good, not all reviews will be bad. I’m the one that has to be happy with my work.
I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me.
I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!

Second Chance Christmas
Absolute perfect Christmas story! Kate and Jackson's story was a breath of fresh air. Or however, that saying goes. It was sweet and enduring. The chemistry was amazing. And throw in how he gets along so well with Kate's son LJ was absolute perfection! I couldn't get enough. Can't wait to read more!
Freeing Fenley
OMG! J.L. Leslie has done it again with this book! That ending gave me gave me chills. This was the most perfect story I have ever read! The chemistry between Fenley and Brigham was off the charts amazing. And the story was phenomenal! I just couldn't get enough. It was everything and more! Loved it!
Tangled In You
This was such a sweet take on a classic fairy-tale. J.L. Leslie did a fantastic job. I enjoyed Rachelle and Miles story very much. It was definitely a different kind of twist but, in a very good way. The chemistry between the two were amazing. I couldn't get enough. I can't wait to read more.

As the title would suggest, Second Chance Christmas is a beautifully sweet romance about finding love second time around and having hope for the future. I love Kate and her son LJ, and Jackson is strong and kind, definitely swoon-worthy. However, he's keeping a secret, one which he fears will tear their burgeoning relationship apart. Will they get their happy ending? A delightful short story to warm your heart.
Tangled in You
Told in dual POV Tangled in You is a sweet, slightly dirty, short story. Rachelle Zellis and Miles Princeton’s story (great names by the way) is a modern retelling of Rapunzel with a twist. Miles really doesn’t come across as a great guy at first but I’m pleased to say he redeems himself when it’s clear what a great job he’s doing by supporting his family. Despite having a controlling mother, I was pleased to see that Rachelle is actually quite a strong character. A quick satisfying read which will have you wanting to slap Rachelle’s deceitful villain of a mother, whilst cheering on our heroine and her prince.

My review for Freeing Fenley.
Fenley although successful can not seem to please her parents. She seems to always disappoint them. I did not like her parents, at all. So the first opportunity she gets she moves across country for her new job. She meets Brigham, love his name by the way. He happens to be a professional surfer. Come on the guy has got to be built like a Greek God,right? Brigham has so much under the surface, no one even really tries to see it.
Even though this is a short story. It packs a wallop.
These guys really hit it off from the very beginning.
Loved Fenley and Brigham.
My review for Tangled in You
Loved Rachelle. At first Miles is a big butt head. I actually wanted to kick his rear-end and talk some sense into Rachelle. He finally redeemed himself.
Mia is just a crazy ole hefer that needs to be slapped.
I absolutely feel in love Paige and Ally.
Highly recommend this short read

I thoroughly enjoy this author's short stories. My favourite in this collection must be Saving Grace. This story just captured so many emotions and tugged on my heart strings. The characters had such a deep connection and I loved the way the story flowed, even though it was a short story it didn't feel rushed or cut short. My second and third favourites would be Tangled in you which was an adult, modern-day version of Rapunzel. It was sexy and had lots of twists and turns. Then there is Freeing Fenley, a lovely tale of how we find love when we least expect it and how someone can free you when you don't even realise you are stuck and forgot how to live. Great collection!

Tangled in you Rachelle has lived an extremely sheltered life, stuck in her home with only her mom. Miles is taking care of his sick sister and niece. The two are so opposite they attract each other. They met during the most unusual circumstances, but they can not deny the attraction they feel for one another.
Love this author can't wait to read more of these books included in this collection

This collection is a good set of light reads that would entertain anyone. Each story is different and the characters hold your attention. This author covers many different topics in her books and it’s hard to choose a favourite as each time I read a new book I fall in love again. This is a great collection of five of her book and I feel that there is something for everyone

Story #1 was cute, but seemed to end abruptly. What happens next??? I need more!
Story #2 was my favorite. I do wish it was longer. I feel like I am missing so much.
Story #3 was also a favorite and a little more complete then the previous two stories. I feel like they are all missing epilogues. :(
Story #4 is a Tangled/Repunzel story with a twist. Cutesy.
Story #5 I couldn’t get into. I’m not really into stories with mucho women.

This book was good I loved the stories. I do feel like book 1 could have been a more I feel like she was still missing something. But the rest of the books were great I loved how they all had their HEA. These 5 books were short stories and got right to the point great easy read.

These are all short stories from J.L. and are all from Anthologies. These are amazing reads and was loving 5 storys in one and they are short fast pace reads.

I really enjoyed this collection of short stories. They were very quick and easy love stories with happy endings, just what I like. I loved Saving Grace, it was alittle sad because of the storyline and she lost her brother during the war but she found in the end. That one touched my heart deeply for personal reasons. But all the stories were very good, perfect for when you had time for a quick read.

This collection has five short stories jam packed in it and I loved them all. I am a huge fan of JL Leslie’s writing style, it’s flows and sucks you in and these stories are no different. I really enjoyed the selection, there was sweet and heartwarming moments as well as drama, angst and the hot stuff! A really great read!!
