Zahedan

Rate this book
"Zahedan" is a romantic spy thriller. It is not a crime novel in the conventional sense of the it combines a plot revolving around Islamic terrorism and counter-terrorism with a story of love, sex and violence. The narrative will take the reader to various places in Western Europe (including London and Paris) and across the Middle East - from Turkey all the way to Pakistan, via Iran. The idiosyncrasies of the world of journalism and the intelligence services are a frequent source of amusement to the narrator (and his readers), giving a satirical dimension to a story which, just as in real life, is made up of tragic as well as comical moments.
