I love the Crossroads series. It is so good to catch up with past characters I have read about. This book touched my heart in so many ways. Bea is a strong, stubborn woman that broke my heart that she hasn’t gotten over her ex fiancé after five years. I love her twin Leah who brings lightness and laughter into Bea’s life. She also knows how to talk to Bea to tell her like it is. Even though CJ is a well known, hunky baseball player he has a heart of gold, and is soon good with taking care of his sister for her wedding. Of course his sister helped raise him and they have always been so close. I loved how he surprised his sister in Vegas for her bridal shower. Not many men would show up for a girls bridal party in sin city! It is hilarious what happens when Bea first sees him. It made my heart melt that CJ fell for Bea right away and wanted to take care of her. It was so hard to see Bea pull back at times because she was afraid to love again. I loved the storyline about BJ’s biological father. This is such a wonderful book. I strongly encourage you to read it. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

I love the Crossroads series. Bea and CJ are a great addition. This book had so many feels. I laughed and cried and fell in love with both characters. CJ was so swoon worthy and Bea trying to find herself after loss. Beautiful, fun, sexy read.

I always love getting to return to the Crossroads series and this book was just another stellar addition to the rest of these great stories!
Bea Porter loves order, lists and being in control. She's as Type A as they come and throwing the bachelorette party for Bailey in Vegas is no exception. Although things don't exactly get off on the right foot when she encounters a naked man and woman in the bedroom of the suite where they will be staying causing her to end up knocked out cold courtesy of the door as she tried to escape the room.
CJ Rossum, World Series MVP and professional baseball pitcher, wasn't supposed to be in Vegas for his sister Bailey's bachelorette party, but the fact he needed a couple days away from his "real life" led him to the suite where all the party attendees will be staying. When he first lays eyes on Bea, he's immediately intrigued, but then very concerned when she collides with the door!
With strict orders from the doctor that came to see Bea that she should be monitored for 48 hours, CJ takes it upon himself to watch her. He steps up because he's both had concussions and monitored teammates who have had them, but selfishly, he just wanted more time with Bea and there is the little part that Bea doesn't want Bailey to know she's hurt so she isn't concerned.
As Bea and CJ spend time together, will Bea be able to put the hurt of losing her first love behind her to give love a chance again? And how would a relationship with a famous athlete like CJ even work if they aren't in the same location?
I literally read this book in one sitting and I loved everything about it. Both CJ and Bea were dealing with very real problems that were causing them to question everything going on. I loved how Bea's twin, Leah, was also in the middle of everything trying to help BOTH CJ and Bea end up where they were supposed to. Once again, Melanie Shawn has delivered a fantastic read!

This was another beautiful hot read from Melanie Shawn.
Bea is such a sweet hard-core Type A personality, how can you not far in love with her. Bea is also still in pain from the loss of her fiancé 5 years prior, her high school sweetheart and first true love.
CJ is a strong sexy professional athlete who is in the middle of having to decide about whether he wants to continue his career or retire and find a woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and start a family with. If that wasn’t a big enough decision on its own, CJ also finds out who his real father is and that he has more siblings than just the sister Bailey who he grew up with.
Bea and CJ are both in Vegas for the CJ’s sister, Bea’s close friend Bailey’s bachelorette party. What happens when Bea walks into one of the bedrooms in their party suite and finds a naked woman on the bed and a very masculine naked man walks out of the bathroom? Bea runs into a door. Yup, what an embarrassing way to meet a gorgeous naked man.
CJ decides it is his responsibility to watch Bea very closely for the weekend, it doesn’t hurt that CJ has been attracted to Bea since first laying eyes on her in one of his sisters posted pictures. And since he can’t find out any information about her on the internet now’s his chance to spend time with her and find out as much about her as he can.
Bea spends the weekend trying to stay away from CJ while CJ is doing everything he can to get closer to Bea.
What happens when Bea and CJ win the bachelorette party scavenger hunt? They get to spend the weekend together in the biggest room of the suite, the only room with a jacuzzi in the room.
Will CJ be able to get past Bea’s walls and her loss enough for her to live and love again? Will Bea be able to help CJ realize that a wife and family is all that he needs?

Loved Bea & CJ! CJ shakes Bea up & moves her outside her comfort zone. She is ready to feel guilty for being with him but ends up feeling guilty because it didn’t end up bothering her. Bea is a type A personality & everything has to be in its place. She has had her share of heartache & has to learn to trust in love again. After losing her first love, she had to realize that you had to take the risk of falling again or you just live in limbo. She has problems dealing with messy emotions & struggles after meeting CJ.
CJ is trying to figure out his future. Meeting & falling for Bea has him changing his course & going after what he wants. CJ has to overcome his fear of the unknown & find strength to just go for it. He’s hasn’t had the best childhood & has gad to learn how to deal with it. Bea gives him courage to figure it out & look forward to the future.
The writing duo Melanie Shawn has crafted characters that are well developed & well geared toward each other. I really enjoyed the way Bea’s sister Leah alternately teased her out of her ways or had her back. It was the perfect sisterly relationship. She seemed to know when Bea needed something to push her forward. The rest of the girls were full of personality, wit & charm. I love that this book had its share of humor in it along with the romance.

Oh, my, I don’t know how these ladies do it, but each and every book they write tugs the strings in your heart and you end up falling in love with the characters.
This story belongs to Bea Porter and CJ Rossum. Bea , Ms. Type A and perfectionist, has put together the bachelorette party for her dear friend Bailey. As the story progresses, we learn of her past and you will feel her pain.
Bailey’s brother, MVP baseball player CJ, gets a suite in Vegas for his sister and her friends .
CJ a hunky guy, is a sweetheart , with a huge heart and just wants to do all he can for his sister.
When Bea arrives early to the suite and finds a naked woman in bed and a naked CJ coming out of the bathroom, she doesn’t realize that from that moment on , both their lives will be turned upside down and be changed forever.
From the start, the plot will draw you in and you will fall in love not only with the main characters, Bea and CJ , but also with the secondary ones. Your heart with ache for Bea and you will want to give CJ a hug for all his efforts.

Cj is a professional Pitcher for the Waves who has been on the fence about his sport for a while. He is tired of playing a game he doesn't love but is good at.
Bea is the co-owner of a pet store in Harper's Crossing and the best friend of CJ's sister. She has also been mourning her fiance for the past 5 years. She lost Jordan just when she thought that her whole life was planned out and going perfectly.
These two characters from the beginning were drawn to each other. CJ couldn't stop trying to take care of Bea, while Bea was conflicted over not feeling the guilt that she felt she should have been feeling for moving forward with her life.
I loved how the author's did not just go straight to a happy ending and they really took to heart the pain and trouble that Bea had to move on. She seemed conflicted and confused and it all came through very well. CJ was conflicted about the path that his life was on and whether or not he should change the path or just continue on the path that everyone else had for him.
This one was one of my favorites by Melanie Shawn. The heartbreak and fear that Bea was going through was very relatable as was CJ's feelings on where he came from and whether or not to pursue that avenue in his life.

This was one of my favorite stories by this sister duo. I loved the sweetness between CJ and Bea. The story had plenty of heat, but the tenderness was always front and center.

CJ is a professional baseball player and in Vegas for a break and for his sister's party. He didn't know it at the time, but maybe his life is missing something. Maybe, he just needs to forget the pressure he is under and just enjoy for a couple days.
Bea and CJ are so much fun! Bea has experienced such tragedy at a younger age, so can she let that go to move forward? CJ is at a crossroad and has to decide what comes next. Can they do it together??

Bea is a type A personality, who loves her lists and schedules. She is in Vegas to attend her friend Baileys bachelorette party which she has meticulously planned. But within an hour of reaching Vegas everything starts going haywire.
Cj planned to surprise his sister by being in Vegas for her bachelorette party, but gets surprised himself when he sees Bea, it is love at first sight for him.
Well if that isn’t the first clue that they are in for a lot more surprises, then I don’t know what is :)
I absolutely loved loved loved reading this book. It draws you in from the start, and keeps you hooked throughout. Bea and Cj stole my heart and I was rooting for them from the start. Just one kiss is definitely going to my TBR again and again list.
Next is Leah, Bea’s sisters story and I can’t wait for it.

When she heads back home, she thinks she has time to get her thoughts and feelings in check, before CJ turns up for the wedding, but he can't wait a week.

The fun and adventures of those in the Crossroads series never ends! Yay! This is book 14, and it’s another fabulous book! I don’t know how they writing team of Melanie Shawn does it, but keep them coming!
Bea Porter is a Type A personality, loving order and control in every aspect of her life. Even when throwing a Bachelorette party for her friend Bailey in Vegas, she’s got everything figured out. Until...she discovers a man and woman naked in the bedroom of the suite where the bridal party was to stay. She tries to run from the discovery, but knocks herself out cold! CJ Rossum is Bailey’s brother and MVP World Series pitcher. He has an instant attraction to Bea, but is concerned when she knocks herself out. Bea has to be monitored for 48 hours to ensure no lasting effects from the door colliding with her head. CJ decides, he’s just the man for the job. I truly enjoyed reading this book!
It is an engaging, sexy & heartfelt story.
The first time Bea, meets CJ, he is
wearing nothing. Shocked by his perfection of nakedness, & the red headed intruder. Bea, ends up knocking herself out.
CJ, felt instantly protective of her. Bea, was in Las Vegas for a bachelorette weekend & CJ, wanted to surprise the bride, his sister.
Bea & CJ's, attraction was instantaneous. After having spent time together in Vegas, they could not stop thinking of each other.
I loved everything about the story!
Can't wait for Leah book!
The emotions, the humor & their chemistry pulled me in, & kept me hooked!!

Oh my gosh, I just read this book straight through. I ❤️ the characters of Bea and CJ. I also wish I had a sister like Leah. I laughed so hard at the end when CJ bubble wrapped the house so the Bea couldn’t get hurt, yet again. After all, he is a baseball player and three strikes - you’re out.
You know the book is going to be a great one when it starts off with a naked girl who has bribed her way into a hotel room and she isn’t one of the two main characters.
This HEA is a must read.

I absolutely love this series. This is book is such a great addition to this series. This book is about Bea and CJ. Bea has a type A personality and she honestly is a control freak. CJ is just the sweetest guy. To me they were complete opposites but you know how opposites attract. These two are very attracted to each other. Bea is still grieving the loss of her first love and she is not sure she wants to give love another go. CJ has his owns issues he is dealing with. He just wants to help Bea. This book was such an emotional read. It literally pulled at all my emotions at once. I am so looking forward to seeing what Melanie Shawn does next. OMG!! I absolutley love CJ and Bea. My emotions were all over the place with their story. I loved how CJ was taken in by Bea the first time he met her. He is definitely an alpha male and his protective and nurturing side came out with her. It was so nice to see with everything that Bea has been through. It takes some tough love from her sister for Bea to realize that it was ok to love again. What a fabulous story.

Anytime I can read a Melanie Shawn book with a hottie baseball player hero, sign me up. I loved this book from the beginning with Bea and Edna and getting to know more about C.J. and Bea, was a trip in itself. These two had chemistry from the get go and I loved when he referenced his baseball buddies and his friend finding his ‘unicorn’, perfect. And of course it wouldn’t be a trip to Harper’s Crossing without catching up and seeing our friends we’ve come to think of as family and I always enjoy a visit from Grandpa J. I’m so excited to see what happens next. Grandpa J told Bea something that I thought was perfect for her situation, “But you, young lady, you have a lot of chapters still left to write, and there’s nothing wrong with introducing a new hero in your story.” That is one of the many reasons I enjoy reading a Melanie Shawn book.

Once you start reading this you won’t want to stop until it’s done! CJ and Bea’s story will keep you turning pages until you reach then end and then have you wishing for more. CJ and Bea have a steamy hot instant connection that try as she may Bea won’t be able to fight. CJ has his work cut out for him to break down her walls but the baseball MVP is determined to win her heart. Pick this one up today, you’ll be sure to love it!

This book is Melanie and Shawna at their best!
Bea is a Type A personality who lives and dies by her check lists. When she heads to Vegas for her friends bachelorette party the one thing not on her list is finding Mr. Right but that might be exactly what she finds.
CJ is coming off his World Series MVP high. He feels like something is missing but he would have never guessed that it would be the blue eyed brunette who gives herself a head injury with in the first five minutes of meeting him.
These type of stories are why I consistently come back to Melanie Shawna books! This book has all the feels, a quirky and funny heroine and a fun loving, romantic leading man. Not to mention the amazing supporting characters who add heart and laughs to every page. Bea and CJ will grab your heart strings and your funny bone from the very first page and keep them until the last. I couldn’t put this one down, and I don’t think you will be able to either!

I was a bit bored with the start of the story but sometimes I am distracted with real life. In the end, I found the book cute with a few amusing parts but nothing that makes it stand out among so many others with this storyline. Nothing compels me to read more in the series either. Did highlight a couple of areas that were memorable.

OMG! You two rock. Bea and CJ were so great together. Took awhile for Bea to get there, but CJ wouldn’t give up. Of course, Grandpa J always knows what to say. Love his character so much. Keep bringing these great books. Received this arc for an honest review. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Another spectacular steamy read from Melanie Shawn!!! Love this series and love this "love at first sight" story!! This book was very emotional with Bea trying to get over the loss of her fiancee. With Bea struggling with the guilt of her falling in love with CJ, this story hit on sensitive feelings of loss but then joy of finding love again!! Definitely a must read book and love all the books in this series!

Bea and CJ were freaking fabulous! I loved the meet-cute, and the other surprise meetings. Leah was a hoot, and I cannot wait for her story. And now there are more of CJ’s siblings to get to know. I was ready to shake Bea a little, but Leah did I pretty good job of it in the end. I loved how CJ was all in from the beginning. I laughed and cried and cheered during reading. All around wonderful story!

This book was AMAZING! Opposites attract at its finest!
Bea and CJ were perfect together. Not only did they find love, but they found themselves. Seeing each of them grow and find the path they want to take was amazing, whether it was a healing path or a career. I completely adored them as a couple, and it was fun to catch up with the secondary characters!!
A phenomenal must read I would highly recommend!
