I have been on a streak of reading "creepy" books from my childhood! This particular book came from a Scholastic books catalog.

So like the previous three books I read, this book did not scare me in the least bit, like it did in my childhood, but I still enjoyed the micro-story/history of the various places.

It was a great book to use as a source to choose sites to visit for my haunted America tour route I plan on taking next year. Lots of good ideas on places I want to visit.
