Loving Ella’s new look, and loving how Julian is there for her. Interesting how Logan has made an appearance especially when you find out who he his! Can’t wait for the next book.

Dumb Ella strikes again…
Well, thank goodness for the art exhibit because Ella’s stupidity would have ran right over into another book. I mean, it still kind of has since she didn’t try to write anything, but at least the others know now.
It was very stupid of her to continue for so long thinking that Logan was a figment of her subconscious, especially after learning of immortals, the two different factions, fangs and venom. Adding that to knowing the other faction lived on an island with a brothel of abducted women plus Logan stating he wanted to buy her… Only an idiot like Ella wouldn’t connect the dots. Then, after learning about the paranormal abilities that some immortals have and suspecting him of being a Doomer, she made a promise to him to not speak of him acting like she had the upper hand while not knowing much about what immortals were capable of? I mean, she only knows what a couple of them can do! That girl should have learned her lesson about keeping secrets about mysterious men to last her a life time and should have at least told Magnus or Julian about her dreams, if not Vivian. Hasn’t she learned she doesn’t make good decisions on her own? I mean, she’s still young and has plenty of time before she has to make big decisions for herself on her own. She has an entire village to be her sounding board. But she withholds the pertinent information someone would need to help her make an informed decision. I hate people like that.
Anyway, I think Parker’s ability has manifested and it’s compulsion. Hopefully he’s the key to breaking the compulsion on his idiot sister.

I took a long break from these books so there would be time to let A few build up before I continued them and I wish I hadn't.
It took me a long time to get back into this world and I can't say I really cared too much for the couple focused on in this installment.
Ella I found very annoying and ungrateful a lot of the time and her plan for her former captor is somewhat laughable.
Julian is just a sap who fell in love with a picture and there is not much else to him.
I do like learning about the gifts new characters do have though as these are always interesting.
I do hope this series picks up again as I have loved it in the past and would hope to finish all the books once they stop.

Did not thrill me
I found Ella’s character hard to like and empathize with in the beginning maybe cause she was 18 to me this story could of been like Jackson and Tessa’s story as part of another story. Hopefully we can get some diversity in the upcoming series and add other races to the story line Maybe one with yamanu.

So far it is good to see Ella moving forward. She is open to try a relationship with Julian. I think Julian needs to step up. He should ask Jackson for advice or any of the other mated men. I feel like he just might lose his place with Ella at the pace he is moving.
Ella is young and although she is smart, she is still a little immature and is showing an impulsive side. She is trying to rush things and she is not thinking about anyone other than herself. She is willing to use Julian just to suit her own purpose and that isn't fair to anyone, especially not Julian.
We now know who Logan is. I hope Ella doesn't give anything away to him.
I totally understand Vivian wanting to wait on her transition for when Ella is ready. She doesn't want to leave her children behind. But I also feel, Vivian should move forward with her transition now while she can. It could be months before Ella decides anything serious with Julian.
It's always good to get some time with the other characters. I wish we got more of them. We have not heard from Nathalie and Andrew and Pheonix or Fernando in a very long time. I mean, Fernando was nearing his death - what happened to him? We don't get to see Bathian, Anandur, Brundar, etc. When is Anandur and Wonder getting married? I hope we get those characters back.
No real romance brewing yet. No action at all. Hopefully the next one will have some intrigue.

Dark Dream’s Temptation KU 286 pgs **** 7/18/21 Julian & Ella
4 stars. Some filler pages but not that many. I got a good Kian and Syssi fix along with Amanda and the other girls. Julian is still acting immature and I am disappointed that he isn’t really working on his career as a physician but that’s because I am a nurse and feel he is a little to wishy washy to even know what he wants to do with his life. Ella is strong, mentally and they just don’t match that well to me. Her dreams are a bit fascinating though and I am so happy we found out who Logan is and that she figured out why she is always dreaming about him. I just haven’t figured out why and what is going to happen with that situation. I am a little frustrated with her and Vivian taking their sweet time to transition. I feel like it is very important for Ella to do that rather quickly since so much dark surrounds her. Hope to find out the answers in the next book!

EXCITING!!
Not sure how it's possible, but this series gets even more exciting with each book. Yes, it is best that the reader start from the beginning and read each one in order, the characters and stories are all connected and intertwined. Obviously, this is not a hardship is one enjoys a unique series, multiple books long.
Dark Dream's Temptation focuses on Ella's state of mind now that she's been rescued: how is she going to acclimate to living within the clan, her victim status and of course Julian. She gains new friends in several old faces like Tessa, Nick, Amanda, Syssi and even Kian. And then there is Losham/Logan, the one fly in the Ella's ointment, the biggest negative keeping her from achieving a little peace.... VERY good story!!

What a cliffhanger, I got to say the ending really had me wanting more! Ella is discovering more about her new world, but she also has to face her steelhead fears from being held captive. She's very independent and doesn't want anyone giving her pitty, however she feels that if she talks about it, that's what she'll get. Can she really move on, and find a purpose to her new life after being rescued. Julian needs to be patient with Ella, especially considering what she has been through. Looking forward to the next book!!

Boring
The story drags out, Ella is still immature, and the series is losing the romance and luster. Julian's character is very different when I read the character the first time, reads like two different people. The first Julian was smart, intelligent and sure of himself. The second Julian character reads like a drug user that's trying to get clean. He's unsure of himself and definitely lost.

Aaaah I don't know if I am going to make it to the next book release! I gotta know what is gonna happen next. I loved this book. Read it in one day. Couldn't put it down. Have ignored the outside world! Lol! This story was captivating and inspiring. I love Ella and admire her strength. Can't wait till May!

Awesome series
I love the children of the gods series. They are very intriguing. I.T. Lucas creatively introduced a new species and brings you into their culture and traditions. It is wonderfully entertaining. Love the escape it provides while reading. I’m very excited to see what happens next.

Again.....it ended much too fast
The Children of the Gods series has one big flaw.....they end way too fast. This was no exception. Will Ella get into a relationship with Logan or is she finally going to see her bad boy thing is how this all got started in the first place?? This ended just when she seemed to be wising up. I was glad to see more side stories in this book then there have been in the last few!! Especially with Kian and Sissy trying to get pregnant. And I really am liking learning more about the Doomers!! But I'm really not relating to Ella's character... I dislike how she treats her mother and especially how she treats Julian. And another but... I enjoyed this book much more then the last 6!! I

Exceptional
Ella is a survivor. She is strong, smart and does think outside the box. The budding relationship between her and Julian is fun to read, but I’d love to have both of their beautiful minds shine forth together since she can hold her own with him. Can’t wait to read how she is able to let the clan know about Lokan (Logan) and take his ass down!! Fun, exciting read!!

Need more!!
I couldn't put this down and kinda yelled nooo at my kindle when I reached the end wasn't paying attention and last page snuck up on me! Every new installment hooks me more and more. Cannot wait to see how Julian and Ella's story unfolds. Hoping they figure out how to get Logan out of her head!

Ella and Julian
Thanks for giving Ella such a wonderful love interest. But I fear we have not seen the end to Logan. This series has such grand character building and involved stories. I have started at the beginning several times and re-read each book. Julian continues the spell binding series and only in dreams type of romance.

Good story for Ella and new beginnings
I am a fan of the series. It’s really interesting to go along with the clan to improve life and help humanity. This is the beginning of Ella being saved and Julian wants her. Ella is damaged and needs time to heal and discover who she is now. Read On!

Darn I can't believe that I finished this book and I have to wait until May for the next installment. The endings never leave you frustrated. They leave you excited . Once you pick them up you cannot put them down. Another great five star read

I am completely hooked on this series! Every book starts right where the other leaves off. Youll love how past characters are still very active in each book. Its like a true world you submerge in every time you read one I.T Lucas books.

I read this in one sitting. It has everything you like in a romance.
Suspense, action, romance! You can't go wrong with an I.T. Lucas book. She finished the book making you long for the sequel. Julian and Ella are a fun read!!!

One of the best paranormal romance series I have read! Definitely recommend reading. I love how each book provides more history and background and detail into each immortal's life. Can't wait for the next book!!!!

Ella is surprisingly resilient and finding her gifts and her so naive considering her past. The sooner dream crashed is fun and I love how it's building toward a showdown!

Love this series
These books just keep getting better but I'm hoping for happy endings. I couldn't take it if there aren't happy endings in each book. Only one question. How many more to the end of the series? I hate to see the end come but there needs to be an end soon.

Omg
This series has me hooked!! I just can't put it down! I love the fact it is a continuous story with more and more characters and action involved! Let's me put it this way I have read all 26 books in one week because the children of the gods series is a 5 star read.

Interesting continuation of Ella and Julian's story, which started during Vivian and Magnus' story. Worrying developments with Logan and Ella is probably finding the return to normality harder than she would admit.
Enjoyable and looking forward to the next book.

Great read as all the books in the serie
It does not get boring. Although the baseline is always the same, boy meets girl and live happily ever after, the plot is different and the characters are well build and interesting.
