Haven't read a release by Mr. Settle for some time now, but this one is a barn burner, with lots of gunplay and bad guys demise. Plenty of exciting action involving Cooper Nash and his many comrades in arms. If you love excitement the jump aboard with Cooper and enjoy the ride of a lifetime.

Most definitely a five star masterpiece that will keep you reading to see what mischief Cooper's newest escapade might involve. There isn't one dull moment throughout the entire book, as the storylines successfully portrays compassion, revenge, excitement and detailed descriptiveness of truly old American western folklore adventures. Too, the characters definitely portray the individual's assigned roles while leading you along with their entertaining accomplishments!
I and definitely impressed with the author's outstanding descriptiveness of each new episode, as I imagined riding along with the good guys as they continuously fulfilled their devotion toward righting the wrong of the bad guys. Cooper is one of those guys who, although he isn't a lawman, apparently believes in justice and preservation of the good peoples lives.
I definitely recommend this outstanding representation of western folklore, as it is a valid representation of how the West was really tamed. There are moments of suspenseful speculations and unlimited accomplishments of gunfighting that will appease your most hearty appetites! You will most definitely enjoy this detailed story, regardless of your reading preference. To not read the book will be your loss most definitely!

An SS. Western Adventure/A Brother Looks For a Brother/A Woman in Trouble/The Mystery Comes Clearer

SS. has. penned western adventure/ mystery when a cow hand arrives in Cayuga looking for his missing brother. The storyline encompasses the abilities of the outlaws and the new arrival. The cow hand ask for info but no one knows anything, which means, the new man has to solve a murder and look for his brother against all odds, which are not apparent until that character is introduced. This. Is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

The author has asked for an honest opinion, which is often difficult, because an author develops his idea and once the idea is set he begins to write. I enjoy fiction because I like to see the authors idea, can it be maintained and can be follow his idea of the plot and at the same time developes the facts. Does the author maintain the facts and continuity of his storyline. That's three stars. The fourth and fifth stars are more important than the first three. Does he or she re-read her work and correct the grammar and the last star is the ending. A novel should always have an ending and not a "to be continued" at the end unless he or she delves into the next novel in the sequence. I do believe the paramount part is the idea. It's the authors idea and only he or she determines what is written. After all its his or her imagination. DEHS tv fQ

Interesting Character

This book is full of intrigue and lots of action, with just a hint of a possible romance. Good read.

Interesting plot

I found this to be a different plot than mM lost and it drew my interest. The plot is different than most of the western stories I have read.
